We are a married couple who cannot fall asleep without a TV on , and this is what happens when a film can wake you up from a dead sleep. I awoke to what appeared to be a home movie released around the year 2000 straight from VHS hell. The film is called Blackwood Evil and for a good while , I thought I imagined the whole thing.

Boy does this episode go off the rails as things tend to do when Jameson is involved. But who says we have to stay on track , after all this is Midnight Movie Gumbo. Fueled by ADHD and a love for tragic characters , we talk some of our favorite films and life experiences (at least the ones we were sober enough to remember). Some of the films we get into include Gaspar Noes Enter the Void, Love, Climax , and Irreversible . Not without distractions which goes without saying in MMG fashion. We also pay tribute to Nicholas Cages best performance in Leaving Las Vegas (RIP Julian Sands). We thank our listeners for tuning into the madness because we love doing this for everyone. Our ADHD driven podcast tends to go many places at once , and being sick while recording not to mention equipment failure can be quite annoying. Finally…..adult features that we can watch from beginning to end, and not feel the need to fast forward to just the sex. From the big budget Pirates Of the Caribbean , Scooby Doo, Forrest Hump, Nutbusters, to the rock n roll of (Steves) favorite musical Grease starring the lovely Riley Reid as Sandy with her stud Seth Gamble as Danny , this episode is full of laughs that we could HARDly get through it

On Thursday October 10th, we had our minds blown, and now we have a lot to discuss. Terrifier 3 features next level gore, a great storyline, and the best performances we’ve seen in this franchise.

Boy this film is a mess , but it’s worth it . We picked a random horror film on tubi and go in totally blind to it. Get ready for some laughs as we dissect 2013s The Bell Witch Haunting.

Astron 6 was a group of six directors who come from Toronto who had a passion for exploitation/grindhouse style of filmmaking and they did it well. They would later go on to work on other projects like Psycho Gorman, Frankie Freako and many others. Fathers Day is disgusting , hilarious , and down right INSANE!

Just a story of your all American, dysfunctional family. Swinger parents, doomsday prep paw paw, a punk rock teenager, and a kid with a knack for modern warfare take on a threat unlike anything anyone on Earth has witnessed. A space cat, apparently. This campy 80s science fiction comedy, directed by Ted Nicolaou, is everything 1980s and has some great examples of the golden age of practical effects, when even flops had something to work with. This is the perfect “brain-off, goofs only” type of movie.

We were so pumped to talk about Brian de Palma’s 1974 legendary film Phantom of the Paradise. This movie inspired countless artists in years to come. From its phenomonal soundtrack to its classic tale of the price and rights of art and the artist, Phantom leaves you on the edge of your seat. (Although this movie could be called God Hates Winslow Leach). This film is a chaotic unraveling of the world of rock and roll that is an essential watch.
