Metropolis – Détails, épisodes et analyse

Where the heck is Episode 12 of Metropolis!?  The short answer: it's on its way! The longer answer is in this update, and I just want to thank you all for your patience in waiting as I've been getting it out. 😄

In the meantime, allow us to introduce you to another show you may really enjoy if you're enjoying Metropolis: Windfall, by Rogue Dialogue Productions!  It's another awesome show about a fantastical city that may not be all it seems, and you can listen to the first episode right here in the feed.

Things aren’t great in Arnhem.  Nobody seems that interested in putting back together what the war has blasted apart, and now the city has started smelling like literal horse manure.  All anyone has to look forward to are dispatches from Metropolis - that mysterious, shining, robot-powered city in the Arctic where everyone seems to have it all figured out.

But do they? The Arnhem Fact-Gazette newspaper has a man on the ground there - Stanley Bronfels - but he’s just a sportswriter, and he’s definitely not being encouraged to dig for muck when there are diamonds to swallow and magic robots to describe.  

But Stan’s best friend is Nan Kanally - the ace reporter for the paper back in Arnhem - and she has a way of getting you to do things you might not ordinarily do.  That’s why Stan likes her so much.  Does he know what she’s about to get him into?

Out in the wind, nothing but the cold and open water ahead, we hear the relentless sounds of a robot building a boat and two feet pacing anxiously in the gravel.  The mission is clear - get across the river.  But Metropolis is a place that takes and does not give.  It is naive to think that it will ever give up anything... or anyone... without a fight.

Nan emerges into the chaos on God’s Plate, only to realize the chaos is gone.  Now there’s only silence and a trail of blood.  Nothing appears to make sense in Metropolis.  But, as Nan is about to learn, perhaps the only thing worse than not understanding Metropolis is understanding it...
