I'm your host, Andrea Donsky. I'm a Multiple-Award-Winning nutritionist (20+ years), and I'm in menopause. I'm a menopause educator, four-time published researcher, and co-founder of www.wearemorphus.com, a company dedicated to helping you manage your menopausal symptoms.

Dr. Briden's latest book, "Metabolism Repair for Women" (also titled "The Metabolism Reset" in some regions), aims to dispel the shame and reframe discussions around body weight management during perimenopause and menopause. She acknowledges that weight gain is a complex and emotional issue, not simply a matter of "eating less and exercising more."
Metabolic dysfunction can occur regardless of body size, and perimenopause and menopause are times of significant metabolic upheaval. The podcast explores the connection between polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), insulin resistance, and menopause.
