Coach Casey Stanley sits down for an in-depth interview about his journey to becoming the new head men's basketball coach at Westminster University in Salt Lake City.

With 18 years of collegiate coaching experience — including 15 seasons at the NCAA Division I level — Stanley has worked alongside some of the biggest names in basketball, including Rick Pitino at Louisville and Richard Pitino at Minnesota. Along the way, he helped develop seven NBA players and 31 international professionals.

Now leading the Westminster Griffins in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) at the Division II level, Coach Stanley shares his defensive philosophy, his commitment to recruiting local Utah talent, and what it means to take on his first collegiate head coaching role. Before arriving at Westminster, Stanley built Layton Christian Academy into a nationally ranked Top 50 prep program, compiling a 66-20 record and winning a state title.

Coach Jon Judkins share what he and his staff at Utah Tech look for when recruiting high school players to make their D1 Basketball team.

Coach Judkins is headed into his 21st season as the head coach of the Utah Tech Trailblazers Mens Basketball Team and is a Six-time Pacific West Conference Coach of the Year winner.

Coach Judkins (622 career wins and counting) became the first men’s coach in Utah collegiate basketball history to reach the 500-win mark back on January 28, 2017.

He then became the all-time winningest college coach in Utah history with career win No. 583 in 2021.

Prior to his arrival at Utah Tech, Jon was the head coach at Snow College for 13 seasons. In 2014, Judkins was inducted into the Snow College Athletic Hall of Fame.

Judkins played for one season at Dixie State (junior college) in the 1983-84 season before transferring to Utah State, where he became the first Aggie to post a triple-double. During the 1987-88 season, he helped lead the Aggies to the PCAA title and an NCAA Tournament bid.

Coach Steve Galley is a legendary coach in the state of Utah. He started at Olympus High School, was the head coach at West Jordan and spent most of his career at Riverton High School - the school's first head basketball coach.

He was also the coach of the Riverton team that knocked Erik's team out of the state tournament his senior year.

Coleman Atwater is one of Utah's top basketball players.

He is a prolific scorer, and the senior leader of the State Championship Davis Darts. He led the state in 3 pointers and was the 2nd leading scorer in 6A.

Jeff "Juddy" Judkins has one of the most impressive basketball resumes on the planet.

He was a high school sensation at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He went on to play at the University of Utah where he is currently the 8th all-time leading scorer in Utes history - doing so before the 3-point line or shot clock era.To this day, he is the all time leader in minutes per game in a season at the University of Utah at 38 minutes per game.

After his college career, he was drafted by the Boston Celtics. He played for Boston (with Larry Bird), the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, and Portland Trailblazers.

After his NBA career, Jeff was an assistant coach for 10 years for the University of Utah under Rick Majerus. Recruiting players like Keith Van Horn, Andre Miller, Michael Doleac, and Alex Jensen.

The Utes made it to the NCAA Championship during his tenure.

In 2001, Jeff became the head coach of the BYU Women's Basketball Team. Over the next 21 seasons, Coach Judkins' teams would have 20 winning seasons. They would win the conference championship 5 times, make the NCAA tournament 11 times, and go to the Sweet 16 twice.

He would win the conference's Coach of the Year 6 times, including his final season as head coach.

Jeff is the all-time winningest basketball coach in BYU history with 456 wins. He is the 2nd all-time winningest coach of any sport in BYU history.

He is a legend and we are grateful he was willing to spend so much time with us.

Coach Doug Meacham is the head basketball coach of the Herriman High Mustangs in Herriman, Utah. They are the #1 ranked team in 6A headed into the 2024-2025 state tournament and have their eyes on a state championship.

Coach Meacham shares his perspective around how youth and their parents can best prepare for high school athletics, cope with the challenges, get more playing time, and use this time to grow as individuals.
