Growing plants that attract aphids inside, like peppers, provides a beautiful environment for bugs to thrive. With bugs in your house, practicing macro photography is super easy! I ordered a lot of convergent ladybugs who are loving all my pepper plants, and they are super fun to photograph! 

I just went through a free webinar about growing a podcast, and I wanted to share what I learned from the training! Many things hit home for me, and I wanted to share them with you if you are interested in growing a podcast. The main and most crucial step is being specific about your show and what it is about. Being too general and broad makes it hard to find a large audience. Freezing bubbles is super fun, and one of my favorite things to do in the winter! At the time of recording this, it is -9F/-23C degrees outside, and I froze some bubbles on a little LED candle! It is quite fun and I highly recommend doing it! Here are my bubble recipes:

• Mix 1 (Favorite GoTo): 1 tsp corn syrup + 8 oz water + 1 tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp dish soap
• Mix 2 (Super Cold Weather Below Zero): 1 tbsp glycerin + 8 oz water + 1tbsp sugar + 1 tbsp dish soap

Winter has its own unique beauty and snow has a magical way of making any landscape look amazing! I stumbled on a blog post about 26 things that make winter the best and referenced their point of view as well. Snow also looks amazing up close and it is fun to know that each snowflake is unique and special. Freezing bubbles is also quite fun, and something that would be hard to do in a hot climate :).

Video games are fun, and I've spent many hours playing them my whole life! With the rise of NFTs, talks about the Metaverse, and advancing technology I think video games are going to become even more interesting over the next few years!

By doing something specific each day you can incrementally improve drastically over time! I use this process to improve my photography by doing it every day! I first started by setting a goal of taking 100 photos every day. By doing this, my photos six months later were drastically better than the ones I first captured! You can apply this simple process to anything that you want to get better at. Draw something simple every day to improve your drawing, or write a page every day to improve your writing; anything you want to improve, do it a little every day!

Drones are amazing little things, and they are a fun, safe, and easy way to capture amazing aerial photos and videos! If you want to sell your drone photos and videos as a service or sell stock drone content, a Part 107 UAV license is required. I took the course offered by Pilot Institute (which took about 5 days online), scheduled my exam, and passed with an 88%! It isn't too challenging to get the license, and I highly recommend investing the time if you are thinking about getting a drone.

Responsibility and being responsible are fun things that can really help you grow as an individual. I think it is fun to swap the word responsibility for dependability; it has a similar meaning and has more positive vibes to it. Saying I am a dependable person feels better, to me anyway, than saying I am a responsible person 😃.

I'm a big fan of hot peppers, like the Carolina Reaper 🔥, and they take a long time to grow and produce peppers. Since the summers are short here in Nebraska, I decided to grow some inside to get an early start! The process has been easy and very fun; I'm quite pleased with how well they are doing! With a heating pad, some fertilizer, and an LED grow light, they are growing great!

I just got Starlink for the internet (starlink.com), and it is Elon Musk's solution to provide global internet to places without internet. Web programming is super fun, and it is very handy. Being able to create custom programs to handle pictures, files, and information from other users over the internet is pretty neat. Thanks to projects like AWS Amplify, building web applications is much easier than it used to be!
