I'm going to cover the first 8 area's that you might expect to see in the manual, not all of it will apply to your machine, but it will give you a good indication of what to expect, and it is up to you to either provide it, if you are a manufacturer or request it, if you are the buyer of the machine. Machines operate in different modes, and there are key characteristics of changing these modes of operation if you want to ensure operator safety.

 This is going to be a deep dive into what a guard is, the required characteristics, the types, how to choose and where to get more information, for creating your guard design.
