Lucha Talk – Détails, épisodes et analyse

This is a special edition of Lucha Talk talking about the biggest show of the year, CMLL Aniversario 91, a celebration of the world's oldest company entering its 91st year. Dylan and Micro cover everything including the extensive AEW involvement. A show for the ages sets the stage for us to cover and talk about one of the best matches of the entire year anywhere.

Lucha Talk is back, talking the biggest show of the year in AAA! A bunch of foreigners get belts, interference in nearly every match, the revelation of the "Eye", a man escapes a cage via balloons and double Psicosis! Triplemania México City! At the end we also talk a little bit about CMLL with the Gran Prix lineups and the two match announcements for Aniversario 91. Weird times in Lucha.

THE TRIO IS BACK! Lucha Talk returns after an extended hiatus with a feel good show with loose outline going over some recent and semi-recent comings and goings in both CMLL like the Rocky Romero & Volador Jr. feud & AAA like with AAA's many TripleManias and the big one coming up with Kenny Omega vs. Hijo del Vikingo. Then we talk about the big spots Luchadores have gotten internationally lately and how they're used. Examples being Komander, Rush & the LWO & even Stephanie Vaquer getting the biggest match of her career vs. Mercedes Moné (AKA Sasha Banks). The format isn't steady but there's a lot of fun talk and match recs too littered throughout. We'll be back at least every month going forward so please join us in talking Lucha Libre! We missed this crazy show!

Episode 65: AroLucha is Here

This week on Lucha Talk the Trio talk about all kinds of news in Lucha, AroLucha debuted in Nashville, they streamed a match on FB and sold out, we talk about it a bit. In addition Dylan and Micro go head to head regarding this week's AAA Worldwide in terms of what was the worst match on the show. As well as a match to anticipate in Hijo del Fantasma vs. Rey Escorpión. CMLL has a lot going on to close out the year with 2 Apuestas matches on Christmas and New Year's Day announced, including a cage match! We also break down the intriguing relevos increibles main event and scope out potential feuds to come out of it. Also of note to kick off the show is talk about the CMLL 85 Years of Lucha book that was just released and info on where/when/if it's making its way online.

This week on Lucha Talk Dylan, Alfredo, & Raul are talking about Angélico announcing he's leaving AAA and his career in México and Lucha Underground. In CMLL there are fun times as they talk about the promotion running the same tournament twice in 6 months with La Copa Junior VIP. Finally talk about the card for the debut AroLucha show in Dylan's home turf of Nashville, Tennessee, and if he'll be going out to see the show. Finally the results of the Twitter poll surrounding the AAA vs. CMLL cards we made last week.

Before that we recall the past week in Lucha including a well above average AAA TV show and a CMLL Legends show that was pretty good until a truly awful main event occurred. In addition a rare American based opening as we talk about Andrade "Cien" Almas and his big NXT Title win.
