Episode 41- Having the courage to do the thing26 Apr 202300:22:59

This week I have been reflecting on some of the decisions I've made over the past year or so, and it's got me thinking about how I came to make those decisions.

When we make big decisions, like setting up a business or applying for a new job, whatever it may be, there are certain things that can hold us back and likewise, certain things that can propel us forwards. 

Things like courage, self belief, ability to visualise/look forward to achieving your goal all give others confidence in believing in us too.  But the biggest thing is trusting our intuition and having faith in the unseen powers, that's what ties everything together, in my opinion.

I've been massively fan girling over Jamie Lee Curtis this week. At the age of 64, and working hard in her profession for nearly 25  years, she has just won her first Oscar. 
She (along with her co star Michelle Yeoh) is living proof that dreams can come true- but not necessarily overnight. 

This episode has turned into a bit of an homage to the female winners of the Academy Awards but I have found it truly inspiring.

As the days reach their shortest, embrace the darkness that sits within you. It's a time to embrace this darkness, and decide what you're ready to let go of. 

After this day, the sun is reborn, and the days get longer once more. Once you've let go of the things you're ready to say goodbye to, it's time to welcome in new beginnings.

When You’re Not Ready for Change: Finding Peace in Life’s Seasons03 Oct 202500:21:13

Normally, by the 1st of September, I’m an autumn gal through and through; cosy jumpers, candles, pumpkins, and crisp mornings. But this year felt different. For the first time, I wasn’t ready for summer to be over.

I’d been loving my new garden, spending time by the pool, soaking in those long, sunny days. And as the leaves began to turn, instead of excitement, I felt a little low and out of sorts.

In this episode, I share how I moved through that resistance, why it’s normal to feel unsettled when change arrives before we’re ready, and how you can find your own peace in seasons of transition - whether it’s the weather outside, or a life change you didn’t see coming.

We’ll talk about:
✨ Why we sometimes resist change, even when we usually embrace it
✨ Gentle ways to adapt when you’re not ready to let go
✨ The importance of honouring what’s ending while opening to what’s next
✨ A short guided visualisation to help you welcome the new season with ease
