Since we last talked to Russian comedian Oleg Denisov (just eleven weeks ago), Vladimir Putin has done the following:

1. Threatened to invade Ukraine with 100,000 troops
2. Continued to imprison his political opposition Alexi Navalny, even with Navalny on a hunger strike and near death.
3. Been sanctioned by the US for cyber attacks.
4. Formally signed law to allowing him to run for President two more times and lead the country through 2036.

With Oleg today we sort through all of it and find the root action that Putin took in 2014 which has dictated all of his actions, including those listed above, since that time.

Peru's presidential race has narrowed down to two candidates, and Peruvian comedian Jaime Ferraro is back to tell us why neither is a great choice. On one side there is Keiko Fujimori, an authoritarian leaning daughter of Peru's former dictator Alberto Fujimori. Her father is currently in prison for murder, robbery and corruption. She just got out of prison in May 2020, also for corruption. On the other side there is communist-leaning Pedro Castillo who is the head of the teachers union and wants to make private businesses in Peru give 70% of their earnings to the government. Jaime tells us how Peru got to this point, what options voters currently have and why this all might not matter in a year. Myanmar's November elections once again appear to have been unfair, but this time it was "The Lady" Aung San Suu Kyi and her National League for Democracy that tampered with it. As the leader of the governing party it is now clear that she repressed the vote of 1.5 million Rohingya minorities who almost certainly would have voted against her. Why would they vote against her? Because, as we learn, she has spent the past five years in power overseeing an in-country genocide of their people.

Pedja Bajovic was born in Montenegro, grew up in Serbia, has Bosnian citizenship and now lives in Croatia (where he is also a citizen).
