Thank you for tuning in to episode one of Losing Weight Weekly. I know there are a lot of people like me, many just starting their own personal journey, whether it’s a long, long journey like mine, or a quick trip to health, getting there, and appreciating the journey it takes is what’s important. For some, there are a lot of questions. Questions I’ve had, and found the answers to, or learned the answers the hard way. I’m looking forward to sharing those answers, and some of the fun, and not so fun moments in the months to come, and for, what I hope is a healthier life.
As I said in the podcast, I’ll post some of the tools I’ve found that are things I use ALL the time, every day, and have found them to be invaluable assets in my journey.
Trackers for food and weight:
Play Store or Apple Store:
Carb Manager: A super powerful tool that helps you keep your carbs in line with your goals plus a lot more and all of the most powerful aspects are completely free. There is a paid version that you can upgrade to/or not, at any time, but it isn’t necessary at all.

Glucose and/or Ketone Monitors
I’ve included a link here to Keto-Mojo, a very affordable, powerful tool that is an awesome way to keep track of what is really going on inside in regards to ketosis. This little machine can take both glucose AND ketone readings, and the kit comes with a beginner supply of both strips, so you don’t need more than one machine which is great for anyone with concerns regarding their blood sugar levels, whether they are diabetic, pre-diabetic or just serious about the impact of blood sugar on their health. Even if ketones are the sole concern, it’s hard to find a blood ketone machine (that’s accurate like this one) for anywhere near the price. Check it out here:
