an episode for you about what all the heavy lifting that went to aging and transforming the brilliant actors in the film.  Hair Designer Jaime Leigh McIntosh and Makeup  Designer Luisa Abel walk us through the process on set under Christopher Nolan's direction while they collaborated to create convincing looks for Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt that would span across wildly different projections (IMAX and 70 MM) and Black and White as well as Color. The new film from A24, Sophia Coppola's PRISCILLA, is an undisputed feast for the eyes.  Released on this past weekend, you hopefully got yourself to the theater to see the incredible detail that was put in to the costumes, set design, hair, makeup and cinematography.  As a frequent visitor to Graceland myself and a person who has been known to study every last detail of Priscilla, Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley's aesthetic, I was truly impressed with the visuals because they honored the historical detail while also being unmistakingly Sophia's vision.  I loved having Hair Designer Cliona Furey back on the pod to talk about her unbelievable work (no doubt it has been in your feed this entire week!).  It's deservedly getting tons of Awards Buzz, and you will love hearing about how she did it, straight from Cliona herself.

Chin and Emmy Award Winner Jason Collins of Autonomous FX, Inc.
Dead Ringers starring Rachel Weisz, now on Amazon Prime, is a limited series
based on the original film which starred Jeremy Irons.  Judy is the
makeup department head and Jason heads up the SFX Team on the show. 
These two are masters of their craft, that much is certain, but what I
really enjoyed talking with them about was the extraordinary way that
they approach the subject matter of the show through artistry.  We also
discuss the observation that audiences are shocked by the "graphic
nature" of the scenes in the birthing center of this series, yet are
capable of consuming content that is violent and gory without commenting
on it.  Hear how they worked together on this challenging project and

In this episode, Martin shares his journey from working on Coal Miner's Daughter to creating the unforgettable hair designs for Olivia Newton-John and the rest of the Xanadu cast. Martin's illustrious career includes three Oscar and BAFTA nominations for his work on the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Hitchcock, and numerous accolades from the Hollywood Beauty Awards and the Makeup Artists and Hairstylist Guild. His passion for Hollywood musicals and his close friendship with Olivia Newton-John bring Martin’s stories to life, and the infectious joy that Xanadu brings to all of us in the new clearly came from the productions’ inception.

Leviss. Known as #Scandoval this brought all eyes to Vanderpump Rules.
As longtime fans who devour every episode, my friend and actress Katie
Walder (you know Katie from shows like Gilmore Girls, Mad Men, and How I
Met Your Mother) and I decided we need to do an episode with makeup
artist Jared Lipscomb. Jared is a makeup artist who, among his many
talents, works often with the cast of Vanderpump Rules and is a dear
friend to Ariana. We talk about how tricky the balance can be between
client and friend and what it was like being in the room as Ariana Madix
prepared herself for the upcoming Vanderpump Reunion which will surely
be the Reality TV Superbowl.

Jared is also a cancer survivor. Katie and I speak to him about his
health journey and he tells us about the amazing organization, Be The
