The Final Four of the NCAA Tournament resulted in a pair of No. 1 seeds set to square off in the national championship game on Monday evening after Danny Hurley and the UConn Huskies took down Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide, a few hours after the Purdue Boilermakers ended the remarkable run by the NC State Wolfpack.

UConn and Purdue is the matchup everyone was anticipating, and the storylines are nearly endless: It's the first matchup of No. 1 seeds since Gonzaga and Baylor in 2021, it features a pair of centers over 7'2 in Zach Edey and Donovan Clingan, and it will either be a repeat national champion for the first time since Florida did it in 2006 and 2007, or it will be the second time ever a one seed has lost to a No. 16 seed and followed it up with a national championship the next year.
