I know I'm going to ruffle a lot of feathers, but I have to state that so far I'm not a fan of Mama Gena's PUSSY book.

Which I find so weird since I'm such a sex positive, body autonomy, and feminist that I expected to love this book.

Now, it very well could be that because I'm listening to the audio version and narrators can easily make or break a book and that could be my issue. But so far it doesn't seem that “new” of a concept for me, I'm not having any orgasmic aha's. Which could be because I've been in the boudoir world for over 3 years now.

I'm only 4 chapters in and it's been a rough listen, but I will persevere and finish the book and give my final opinion here after…I promise.

I had no freaking clue this magazine even existed for women and queer men!

It's the female response to Playboy and Penthouse magazines. It covered issues like abortion and equal rights, interspersed with sensual shots of men, and played a pivotal role in the sexual revolution for women.

The magazine has been given a revamp and now focuses on the more "enlightened feminist" topics splashed with some suggestive male nudes.
