In this episode World Relief’s Jenny Yang and Matthew Soerens discuss what it will take to rebuild the U.S. refugee resettlement program, how World Relief is preparing, and what you can do to help.
On Friday April 16th, the Biden Administration announced that it would be keeping the historically low refugee ceiling set by the Trump administration for fiscal year 2020. But, after an outpouring of opposition from faith leaders and advocates like World Relief, President Biden reversed course saying he would set a new refugee ceiling on May 15th.
