In episode 12 I sat down with Claudia Grant of our Talent Development team to talk about her decision to completely change the direction of her career after redundancy.

Claudia returned to full time education as a mature student, and today she talks about her experience, the challenges and learnings, and ultimately the positive impact this has had on her career. My favourite take away from Claudia’s story is how she really turned the uncertainty and disruption of redundancy into positive action that has given her, purpose & joy in her work. Her story is one of resilience, introspection and self development.

In Episode 11 we have a long overdue conversation with our Head of Consulting - Elena Karadzhova.

When Elena joined Leyton UK over five years ago the Consulting team looked very different than it does today. It looked like many teams within STEM & Financial Services - predominantly men. Since then Elena has been part of a movement within the business, influencing change, championing diversity & equal opportunity, and today the consulting team looks very different - boasting a 60/40 split in favour of women. She now Heads up Consulting here in the UK and in Morocco, and is surrounded by a balance of women & men on our Senior Leadership team.

Todays podcast reflects on Elena’s journey here at Leyton, her perspective as a female Senior Leader & an honest conversation about what we need to do to empower women across the business & to encourage more women to join Leyton UK.

This wasn’t an easy conversation to have, it challenged Elena to be honest about where we can do more. I cant thank her enough for her time, honesty and candor.
