Responsible for developing, resourcing and successful delivery of complex implementation programmes.  In 2018, moved to Islington, to lead the ground-breaking Inclusive Economy programme. The programme has a radical focus, embedded in the ‘Fairer Islington’ agenda, seeking to ensure that economic, social and environmental justice sit at the heart of all of the council’s economic policies. Designed the implementation phase of the innovative Affordable Workspace Programme. Leading work on range of initiatives on social value leasing; progressive procurement; inclusive innovation; green industrial strategy; community wealth building; and, responsible business development.

In this episode featuring Black Women in Leadership, you'll hear host, Romeo Effs engage with guests - Rasheen Roper Robinson and Nneka Orji. They were joined by Precious Lwanga who co-hosted with Romeo but also doubled as a guest.

They covered the issues that they've faced as Black women leaders in the spaces they occupy. The discussion ranged from their individual experiences in the spaces of education, finance and construction. The ladies shared with Romeo their experience with Black hair, their Blackness and doing the self work despite lack of support, sexism, colourism and racism.

There were notable differences but the similarities and parallels stand out as well.
