| What Podcasting Made Possible For Us 🎊 // INTERNATIONAL PODCAST DAY SPECIAL (unedited) | 30 sept. 2026 | 00:36:16 | |
Recently, I've made it my mission to meet more podcasters/guests for my shows in person. And look, it’s already working. 😊 For International Podcast Day, I invited a bunch of lovely podcasters based in Austria to meet me for a coffee, have a chat and celebrate this wonderful medium we’ve all somehow found ourselves in. These lovely people showed up. ❤️ I always find it so meaningful to hear other podcasters talk about their journey. What got you into podcasting in the first place? What were your most embarrassing fails? How did you find your people and your listeners? What has your podcast made possible that you never expected? What worked? What absolutely didn’t? And, perhaps most importantly: why are you still showing up? Because the podcasting journey is never linear. There are moments when everything clicks, moments when you wonder whether anyone is listening at all, unexpected opportunities, awkward interviews, technical hiccups, brilliant conversations, long pauses, new directions and plenty of figuring things out as you go. And that’s what I loved about this conversation. So if you’re thinking about starting a podcast, wondering whether podcasting is still for you, or simply looking for that little spark to keep going, listen in. And while you’re listening, think about how YOU would answer all the questions we raised. What brought you here? What have you learned? What made you cringe? Who are your people? And what has your podcast made possible? A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for this coffee and conversation. I’m so glad you showed up. 🎙️ Check out these wonderful podcasts: Ulrich Aydt Valentin Farkasch The episode Valentin mentioned with his mentor: [link] Regina Larko Lead With Your Voice: https://pod.link/1487708769 Sound Pockets: https://pod.link/1716048028 Mentioned in the podcast:

| You’re Not Speaking Into the Void (Even If It Feels Like It) | 23 sept. 2026 | 00:13:51 | |
Ever feel like you’re posting, publishing and podcasting into the void? Today I will share two encounters that reminded me why you can’t always measure the impact of your work by likes, comments, downloads or replies. One came through a LinkedIn comment from someone I had never directly connected with. The other happened at an event, when someone I’d never spoken to told me that my work had stayed with them. Both were little reminders that our voices can land much further than we realise. In this episode, I also talk about those quieter seasons when engagement drops, community participation fluctuates and you start wondering whether anyone is actually listening. I also share a simple practice for collecting the messages, comments and moments that remind you: your work is reaching people, even when you can’t see it. Because you are not speaking into the void. And your voice might be making an impact in ways you’ll only hear about much later. 00:00 Lead With Your Voice Connect with Regina Larko: Work with me | Join the Community | LinkedIn | Resources
| Why You Need to Continue to Put Your Voice Out There | 18 sept. 2026 | 00:12:17 | |
Ever had someone tell you, “I’ve been meaning to sign up…”? And then you realise they’ve been seeing your offer for weeks? This episode is a little reminder not to underestimate how many touchpoints it can take before someone actually says yes. In this episode, I share a very real-life example of my own: I wanted to join a mentor’s group programme. I had every intention of signing up. And then… life happened. I got distracted. There was a tech issue. I got distracted. I closed the page. And then, days later, I heard the programme mentioned on a podcast and thought: Oh yes. THAT thing. I still want to do that. It made me think about how often we stop talking about our offers because we’re worried about being annoying or “too salesy”. But sharing your offer isn’t the same as constantly selling. Some people will scroll past. Some won’t be ready. Some simply need to hear about it again at the right moment. So in this episode, I’m talking about why I think we need to get a little more comfortable with repeating ourselves, and how you can naturally weave your offers into newsletters, LinkedIn posts, podcasts, conversations with clients and pretty much wherever you already show up. And yes, I also share a little invitation of my own: Podcasting Revisited: Impact, Visibility & Leadership, my new 6-week course for existing podcasters, starts October 22. Because apparently I’m taking my own advice. 😉 Find all the details at reginalarko.com. In this episode: 00:00 Lead With Your Voice Links mentioned in this episode:

| Letting Go of Control and Creating Playfully | 15 sept. 2026 | 00:17:20 | |
What happens when you stop trying to get it right? After a busy summer with my three kids, I’m finally back behind the mic. And a few recent mentoring conversations got me thinking about something I keep coming back to in my own work: presence, curiosity and the freedom to experiment. In a mentoring programme, I meet people who are figuring out things like business development, visibility, confidence and how they want to show up publicly, including through their podcasts. One conversation introduced me to a simple but very impactful exercise from an artist: drawing another person for two minutes without looking at the paper. There was something wonderfully freeing about not being able to check, correct or control what I was creating. I had to trust the process. And what came out of it was really meaningful and beautiful. It got me thinking about voice leadership and podcasting in a slightly different way. What if we treated our creative work like a blank piece of paper? What if we allowed ourselves to try things, make things, play around with our voice and practise being visible without the pressure to make everything perfect, polished or publishable? Not everything we create needs to become a podcast episode. Not every idea needs to be shared. Sometimes the experimenting is the point. And maybe that is where some of the most interesting things begin. 🎤 I also share more about my upcoming Johns Hopkins University Odyssey course, Your Podcast Revisited: Leadership, Impact, and Visibility, starting October 22. If you already have a podcast and feel like it’s time to look at it with fresh eyes, we’ll explore what’s working, what isn’t, and how your podcast can become a more meaningful expression of your voice and leadership. | One Simple Link to Get More People Listening to Your Podcast | 19 août 2026 | 00:14:12
Are you making it harder than it needs to be for people to listen to your podcast? If you’re sharing an episode with your audience, you might be sending them to Spotify or Apple Podcasts. But what if they use a different podcast app? Or listen on a different device? In this episode of Lead With Your Voice, I share one simple way to make your podcast episodes easier to find, play and save. Instead of sharing separate links for Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other platforms, you can share one link that gives listeners different options — including listening directly in their browser or choosing their preferred podcast app. It’s a small change, but reducing friction can make a real difference. The easier you make it for someone to press play, save an episode and add it to their regular listening, the more likely they are to actually come back to your podcast.
I also share an invitation to my upcoming six-week live podcasting course with Johns Hopkins University, starting October 22. The course is open to podcasters worldwide and includes live sessions, replays and plenty of opportunity for individual support. The group is intentionally limited in size so you can get more than just another collection of podcasting tutorials. If you’ve already launched your podcast and are wondering what comes next — how to make your podcast work harder for you, build confidence in your voice, and create something that actually supports your bigger work — this is for you. 00:00 Lead With Your Voice Links mentioned in this episode:

| The Hidden Grief in Podcasting (Even When Things Are Going Well) | 28 juil. 2026 | 00:30:05 | |
What if one of the hardest parts of podcasting isn't consistency, strategy, or growth... but grief? Returning from a family holiday in Italy and I reflect on the bittersweet feeling of leaving behind moments that can never quite be recreated. That experience opens the door to a conversation most podcasters never have. Because every podcast journey asks us to let go. Whether you're just getting started, questioning your direction, celebrating milestones, or wondering why something still feels unexpectedly heavy despite your success, this episode explores an emotional side of podcasting that often stays hidden. Today I want to share six (surprising!) ways grief can show up as you build your voice, your platform, and your leadership. You may recognize yourself in more than one of them. This isn't an episode about loss. It's an episode about growth, identity, change, and what it really means to keep showing up with your voice over time. If you've ever wondered why podcasting can feel so deeply personal, this conversation might put words to something you've been carrying for a long time. In this episode, you'll discover:
Whether you're an experienced host or still thinking about starting your podcast, this episode is an invitation to see your journey (and yourself!) with a little more compassion. | Building a Relationship with Your Voice | 06 juil. 2026 | 00:26:40
Subscribe to my newsletter here: https://reginalarko.com/newsletter/ What if the thing your audience has been looking for wasn't your expertise... but your voice? I recently looked back at my podcast analytics. Not just the download numbers, but the comments, the messages, and the moments where people stayed with me the longest. And I noticed something. The episodes that resonated most weren't the ones filled with podcasting strategies or technical advice. They were the ones where we talked about something much deeper: what it means to find your voice, trust it, and keep choosing it—even when life changes you. In this episode, I'm reflecting on what that taught me. About podcasting, yes. But even more about leadership, identity, and why our relationship with our own voice is never really "finished." If you've been feeling disconnected from yourself lately, questioning your direction, or comparing your path to everyone else's, I hope this conversation feels like a gentle reminder to come home to your own voice. In this episode, we explore:
Your voice will keep changing. The question isn't whether you've found it. The question is: Will you keep listening? Connect with Regina Larko: Work with me | Join the Community | LinkedIn | Resources Email: regina@hashtagimpact.com
| Why "Just Do It" Doesn't Work (And What to Do Instead) | 01 juil. 2026 | 00:20:00 | |
If you've been thinking about starting a podcast for months—or even years—but still haven't hit record, you're not alone. "Just do it." It's probably the most common advice aspiring podcasters hear. It's well-intentioned, but what if it's also the reason so many people stay stuck? After spending the weekend at a podcast festival and speaking with dozens of incredible people who all shared the same dream—starting a podcast "one day"—I came home questioning the advice I've given for years. In this episode, I explore why motivation and more information aren't the missing pieces, why waiting to feel ready rarely works, and the surprising mindset shift that can finally help you move forward. If you've ever wondered why you keep putting your podcast idea on hold despite knowing exactly how much you want to do it, this conversation is for you. In this episode, you'll discover:
Whether you're dreaming of starting your first podcast or you've been talking yourself out of it for years, this episode might change the way you think about taking that first step. | Visibility vs. Building an Audience You Own | 08 juin 2026 | 00:18:25
Subscribe to my newsletter here: https://reginalarko.com/newsletter/ A sudden Facebook account closure made me reflect on something most of us don’t like to think about when we’re building our presence online. We are not actually building on platforms we own. And yet, so much of how we measure success is tied to them . Just think of the way you approach followers, likes, reach, downloads. It feels real. It feels like growth. But it’s fragile in ways we often only notice when something disappears. In this episode, I explore what it really means to build a voice in today’s digital world and why visibility alone is not enough if it isn’t anchored in ownership. Because the deeper work isn’t about chasing more attention. It’s about building something that lasts beyond the algorithm. Something that stays with you, even if a platform changes overnight. In this episode I talk about:
And I share why your podcast is not just content, it’s infrastructure. A living archive of your thinking, your leadership, your perspective. This episode is for you if you’re in that in-between space: You’re showing up. You’re building. But part of you is starting to ask what actually lasts. I hope this episode gives you a new lens on your work and that my passionate call to action (yes, you'll hear my voice picking up) to ask yourself some different questions about what it is that you’re currently building. And what you are building on. Connect with Regina Larko: Work with me | Join the Community | LinkedIn | Resources Email: regina@hashtagimpact.com
| Podcasting, Coaching, and Showing Up Human (feat. TJ Bennett, The Desuckify Work Podcast) | 01 juin 2026 | 00:29:20 | |
How do you keep showing up when no one is making you? In this episode of Lead With Your Voice, I sit down with podcaster, creative, coach, and wonderfully curious human TJ Bennett, host of the Desuckify Work podcast. For nearly three years and more than 130 episodes, TJ has shown up week after week to have meaningful conversations about making work more human, more fulfilling, and yes, a little less sucky. We talk about what drew him to podcasting in the first place, how he launched his podcast alongside his coaching business, and the simple act of public accountability that helped him begin before he felt fully ready. This conversation is really about something bigger: what happens when you trust your curiosity enough to follow it. TJ shares why listening is one of the most underrated leadership skills, how decades in the advertising world shaped his approach to coaching, and why creating space for other people's stories has become central to both his work and his podcast. We also explore the tension many of us feel between being professional and being human online, the importance of playfulness and experimentation, and why your voice matters long before you have everything figured out. If you've been waiting for the perfect moment to start your podcast, share your ideas, or put your voice out into the world, this episode is a reminder that the people making the biggest impact are often the ones willing to begin before they're ready. | Finding Your Voice, Your Platform, and Your Pace in Podcasting (feat.Veslemøy Klavenes-Berge, Stories for the Future) | 29 avr. 2026 | 00:28:05
In this conversation, I sit down with a geophysicist-turned writer and podcaster Veslemøy Klavenes-Berge who’s done something many of us quietly long for. She’s learned how to move from future anxiety into genuine curiosity about what’s ahead. We look at how her voice has evolved since starting her podcast back in 2020. Not in a polished and linear way but through showing up before she felt ready, building confidence gradually, and making some uncomfortable decisions along the way. One of those shifts? Moving her podcast from Norwegian to English to open the door for more conversations. It wasn’t an easy call. It came with doubt, discomfort, and the very real risk of losing part of her audience. And still, she chose it. We also get into what it actually looks like to run a business this way. Not rigid. Not overly strategic. But experimental. Following what feels alive. Letting go of the pressure to be consistent just for the sake of it and instead returning to the mic when there’s something real to explore. Because for her, the podcast isn’t the end product. It’s part of a bigger platform. One that connects to her writing, her book work on Substack, and her thinking as it evolves in real time. We talk about resisting the pressure to niche down, simplifying tools and workflows, and finding aligned guests. And she shares the four pillars shaping her next chapter: energy transition, entrepreneurship, the future, and health. It’s an honest conversation about finding your own pace, trusting your voice, and building something that actually fits your life and work, not the other way around. Event podcast recordings can feel exciting…and a little intimidating. You’re in the middle of a busy event, conversations are short, energy is high and it’s easy to think the recording itself is the main thing. But what if the real opportunity goes far beyond that moment? In this episode, I’m sharing a different way to approach live podcast recordings. One that helps you create deeper connections, extend your visibility, and turn a single appearance into something that keeps working for you long after the event is over. If you’ve ever considered recording your podcast live (or said yes to an opportunity and wondered how to make the most of it), this episode will give you a new perspective. Ever felt like you don’t quite fit in? But what if this was exactly where your power is? In this episode, I talk with Fyiona Yong, author of How to Thrive as a Misfit and host of the The Thriving Misfits Podcast, about turning what makes you different into your superpower. Fyiona shares how her cross-cultural journey, born in Malaysia, raised in Germany, navigating a career in oil & gas, and living as an expat in Asia, taught her that inclusion isn’t just nice to have, it’s essential. She opens up about launching her podcast from her book, moving past self-limiting beliefs, and shining a light on the inner stories of resilience that help listeners feel less alone. We dive into the cathartic process of writing her book during the pandemic, why misfits don’t have to wait for the world to change, and how you can shape your own environment. Plus, Fyiona gives a behind-the-scenes look at her evolving podcast seasons, what’s coming next on Asian leadership and breaking the bamboo ceiling, and her practical advice for starting a podcast. | You don't need to fit in a box | 02 mars 2026 | 00:07:45
Recently, I’ve been looking through all my marketing materials and touch points with people who are new to my work. And one idea I had was to put together a cornerstone piece. It’s definitely a smart thing to have. And it was such an interesting exercise, looking at my body of work and asking: What do I mention? But then the funny thing happened. I rewrote that cornerstone piece over and over again. It got to the point where I had already spent a good amount of time creating visuals, drafting the text, even scheduling it on my socials… And then I didn’t post it. Something held me back. And then, during a very cosy lunch break in my home office, snow falling outside, it hit me. I finally understood why it felt so hard to put that cornerstone piece out into the world. Because the real block wasn’t what I expected. In this short voice note, I talk about that. But considering I had just sent a friend a voice note three times that length, it’s actually short by my standards :-) I hope it supports you if you've ever felt you weren't ready to post. 🎧Just press play to start listening Yours, PS: If you want your podcast to finally feel clear, focused, and worth your time, start here. Register here: Courage, Confidence & Clarity for Times of Change "We need grounded, courageous humans who know who they are," I said when I was talking about a workshop I get to run at Johns Hopkins University this March. And here's why I think this topic matters so much right now. And here's why I think this topic matters so much right now. Because these past few years, I know I am not the only one who has been feeling a little…lost. With work changing, with AI and new tech and roles shifting EVERYWHERE, it can feel like there’s this quiet, persistent question...Where do I fit as a human? What’s my place in all of this? And that’s exactly what this workshop is for. It’s two hours to slow down in the middle of the speed. We’ll explore what courage looks like when everything feels uncertain. What confidence feels like when it comes from the inside instead of trying to keep up with everything. What clarity might look like when life is shifting faster than you can plan. Through storytelling, journaling, and conversation, we’ll practice tools to navigate change more calmly, reconnect with what matters to you, and move forward with a little more trust in yourself, even when the world around us doesn’t feel that steady. No prep needed, no prior experience, just bring a notebook, your favourite pen, and a bit of curiosity. Because I think what the world needs now is not more efficiency and optimisation. It needs humans who are grounded, who know themselves, who can step into uncertainty and change with courage and curiosity. If that sounds like something you need, I hope you’ll join me. In this episode of Lead with Your Voice, I’m sitting down with Charlotte Bayala — award-winning podcast host, cancer caregiver, and the beautiful force behind The Cancer Caregiver Podcast and her new show Caregiver Breathing Room. Charlotte and I first connected on LinkedIn (proof that the internet can actually be a generous place). What followed was a conversation about what it really takes to build a podcast that holds both strength and softness. We talk about: – how Charlotte found her voice while navigating caregiving– what it means to grow as a podcaster — not just technically, but emotionally– why “soft skills” aren’t soft at all– and how to create something meaningful without burning yourself out in the process This isn’t just about microphones and downloads. It’s about identity. Capacity. Courage. About the tension between being a creator and being a human with limits. Charlotte shares honestly about her evolution and I think anyone building something from the heart will see themselves in parts of her journey. | Vulnerability and Navigating Negative Feedback | 05 févr. 2026 | 00:18:33
Upcoming session: Courage , Confidence and Clarity For Times Of Change. Register Here. When we put our voices out there, we make ourselves vulnerable. It’s like lifting a curtain and letting others really see us. And that is scary as sh**. The usual advice “What’s the worst that can happen? Just do it!” doesn’t really help.Because we’re human. We understand ourselves in relationship to others. And deep down, we all carry this very real desire to belong. So when we share what we care about, when we speak up, when we show up as ourselves, there’s always that risk that someone won’t like it. Or us. And when that happens…I don’t know about you, but I feel it in my whole body. A negative comment. A critical pushback. A clear “no, you’re not for me.”It’s hard to describe, but it’s deeply uncomfortable. Today, right after I received a negative comment from a complete stranger about a podcast idea I care about deeply, I had a choice to make.Do I let this get to me?Or do I turn it into something meaningful? So I did the only thing that felt helpful in that moment. I took out my phone and recorded you a voice message.Well, it’s a podcast. But it’s really a voice note. Unscripted. Recorded on my phone. Sitting on my living room floor. You’ll be getting more of these voice-note-style recordings from me. Because right now, they feel like the most honest version of me.I could polish this. Turn it into a neat lesson. Teach you how to “do podcasting the right way.” But I’ve been doing this long enough to know that there’s also power in showing up as I am.Rambling. Thinking out loud. Feeling it all. And maybe, just maybe, this invites you to reflect on how you want to show up.In your life.In your business. In your podcast. Even if it scares you. Start listening now. Just announced: "Courage, Confidence, and Clarity for Times of Change" with Regina Larko. Find out more here. ++++++ Are we busy because we have to or because we’re trying to prove something? This conversation with Lauren Davis is one of those that stayed with me long after we stopped recording. It might be one of the most important ones I’ve ever had on the podcast. And I believe everyone needs to hear it. We talk about busyness, not the kind that comes from meaningful work or full lives, but the kind that keeps us constantly running. Hustle culture tells us to keep going, to stay productive, to fill every gap. But what if our packed schedules aren’t about necessity at all? What if they’re about proving our worth, earning validation, or avoiding what gets uncomfortable when things go quiet? Together, Lauren and I gently (but honestly!) explore what’s underneath our busyness. The proving. The performing. The fear of slowing down. And what all of this means for our mental and emotional well-being. If you’ve ever felt exhausted but unsure why, or successful on the outside but restless on the inside, this episode is for you. | Cue the happy tears | 02 déc. 2025 | 00:07:13
Just announced: "Courage, Confidence, and Clarity for Times of Change" with Regina Larko. Find out more here. ++++++ Let me paint the picture. It’s 6:15am. My alarm rings. It’s dark, it’s quiet, all the kids are still asleep. I sneak out, pull on a warm pullover, and switch on the little Christmas lights we put up in the kitchen. I’m standing by the high table, just by the window. Outside, it’s foggy and grey. I make the sandwiches for the kids, one after the other, and when I’m done, I start the coffee machine. While it heats up, I grab my phone to turn on the radio. And even though I try to stay mindful and avoid diving straight into messages…, well, before the radio app even opens, I tap on my emails. And there it is.A message from one of my students. The best kind. The kind I tell my kids about. Happy tears. Listen in to hear what happened. More resources for your voice leadership journey:
| Podcast Showcase: Risky Women Radio (top 3% worldwide!) with Kimberley Cole | 24 nov. 2025 | 00:39:11 | |
In this episode, I sit down with Kimberley Cole, the powerhouse behind the podcast Risky Women Radio, ranking in the Top 3 % worldwide. (ListenNotes) She’s been a driving force in risk, regulation, and compliance for years and she’s built a global platform that lifts women’s voices in a space where they’re often overlooked. Kimberly didn’t set out to become a podcaster. The tech scared her, the “how” felt fuzzy, but she went for it anyway, and thank goodness she did. What began as an experiment grew into a lifeline during COVID, when in-person events disappeared overnight. The podcast became a way to stay connected and keep celebrating the incredible women in her industry. On Risky Women Radio Kimberley shines a light on women at every stage of their careers, giving them space to share their stories, insights, and expertise. It’s part inspiration, part mentorship, part “you’ve got this” for women who rarely get that kind of visibility. Another thing I love: Kimberley brings in guest hosts. Different voices, different angles, different storytelling styles. It keeps the show fresh and expands the circle even further. As she told me, “It’s been fantastic to open up and bring in new voices and new ideas.” In this episode, Kimberley is honest about the messy parts too, like the time she lost an entire interview with a legendary guest. She described it as feeling like she “lost one of her children.” Still, she found the courage to ask for a redo… and they recorded an equally brilliant conversation. This chat is a reminder that starting something new (especially something that asks you to step up and be heard) can change everything. Kimberly’s journey shows what’s possible when you take a risk, follow your curiosity, and trust your voice. Oh and we talk about podcast sponsorships too. Kimberley shares how she approaches it, and there’s a lot to learn from her there too. Featured in this episode: Kimberley Cole: Connect with her on LinkedIn Risky Women Radio: Start listening here. | How to bring more HYGGE into your podcast | 14 nov. 2025 | 00:20:09
I travelled to Denmark the other day, my first time in Copenhagen. While there, I stumbled upon a book about Hygge. As I understand it after reading, it’s more than just a word. It’s a way of life, one that brings presence, warmth, and cosiness into our days. And I LOVE this! The Scandinavians really have a way of living with nature, embracing the rhythm of the seasons, the dark winters, and the endless summer light. I’ve seen and felt this myself, being married to a Swede and raising our kids across so many cultures, from my native Austria to our shared years in China. This concept of Hygge got me thinking: how can we bring more of that same presence and depth into our professional lives? Especially into our podcasts. Because aren’t we all sometimes falling into the trap of thinking our podcast is just another thing we have to do, a box to tick, a Mittel zum Zweck, as we say in German, which translates as 'means to an end'. Where is the cosiness in your podcast creation? And no, I’m not just talking about lighting a candle for ambience. How can we approach our creative work with a sense of Hygge? And how will this impact our leadership voice? That’s what I’ll be exploring in this week’s episode of Lead with Your Voice. Grab your favourite pen and paper, I’ll invite you to journal along with me so you can start bringing a little more Hygge into your own work too.' Enjoy! | What's your legacy? | 03 nov. 2025 | 00:10:34
What does legacy really mean? Some say it’s what you leave behind. Others say it’s what you build while you’re here. Legacy can be:
I used to think legacy was something that came later in life, something you reflect on once everything’s “done.”But lately, in conversations with friends (and my husband), I’ve realised it’s something we shape every single day. Even the smallest choices, what we say, what we stand for, what we create, are part of it. This week on Lead with Your Voice, I dive into this question:What is my legacy, and how do we even begin to define it for ourselves? It’s not a dark or sentimental conversation. It’s an honest one. We’re all already leaving traces of ourselves, through our voice, our impact, our way of showing up. I hope this episode sparks reflection. Find free resources for your own journey here:

| Permission To Be Seen And Heard | 06 oct. 2025 | 00:18:27 | |
When we talk about visibility, we often hear about marketing strategies and algorithms. There are recommendations for how often you should post, how many comments you should leave on LinkedIn, how to “show up consistently.” But the part we rarely talk about is this:sometimes it’s hard to let yourself be seen (or heard) in a way that feels true to who you are now. Hands up if you didn’t leave that comment because you were worried someone might judge you. Or you didn’t post that opinion piece, fearing the trolls. Or you stayed quiet in a meeting even though you had something meaningful to say. And maybe, like many of us, you’ve built your credibility over years in a certain field, and it now feels risky to admit that your views have evolved. You’ve changed. But the world still sees you as who you used to be. Sometimes, it’s not the fear of being unseen that holds us back — it’s the fear of being seen differently. Because something shifted.Something that might not even be work-related (a divorce, a move, a sickness, a burnout, a loss, a new beginning). And suddenly, you find yourself standing in a quiet in-between.You’ve outgrown your old voice and you’re still learning how to use the new one. You’re not quite sure what you want to say… or how… or if you even dare to say it out loud. That’s what I explore in this latest episode of Lead with Your Voice, a reflection, a thinking-out-loud about what it means to give yourself permission to be seen and heard, again. In ways that still feel uncertain, but more aligned with the person you’re becoming. Offerings & free resources: https://reginalarko.com/start/ Any questions? | Podcasting Trends I don't follow (and you don't have to either) | 24 sept. 2025 | 00:16:12
Every few months, the podcasting world buzzes with a new “must-do” trend. I know, you’ve seen them too. Join the Community! This is your space to start leading with your voice. Not long ago, I scrolled past a post saying something along the lines of Podcasting today isn’t what it was 10 years ago. Don’t take advice from people doing it the old-fashioned way. Ouch. Well, the person was selling a shiny YouTube podcast optimisation package, so… yeah, I rolled my eyes and kept scrolling. But it got me thinking. Am I irrelevant if I don’t follow every new trend? Am I just stubborn? A late adopter? Out of touch? Maybe. But I still do things my way. And that has kept me not just relevant, but aligned. Because I don’t ignore the industry. I read the research. I test new tools. I get excited about what’s emerging. But I’ve also learned to mute the 'should's' and focus on what actually feels right for me, my podcast, my business. That’s what this week’s episode is about: 3 podcasting trends I don’t follow. Not because they’re bad. But because they don’t fit me (and maybe they won’t fit you either). This episode is your gentle reminder that relevance doesn’t come from chasing every shiny thing. It comes from learning how to hear your own voice in all the noise. Join the Community! This is your space to start leading with your voice.
| Your Podcast Is a Moment in Someone's Life | 10 sept. 2025 | 00:15:46 | |
Here’s something we don’t talk about enough in podcasting: those quiet, personal moments when someone invites your voice into their life. HERE you find free Resources for your Podcasting & Voice Leadership journey. Your listeners make an active choice to press play. Maybe they’re commuting, maybe they’re folding laundry, maybe they’re sneaking in a walk between meetings. Wherever they are, they want you with them. I feel this in my own life as a listener: ✨ My business coach has a brilliant podcast. I love tuning into her episodes between our 1:1 sessions. Her voice feels like an anchor, a steady reminder that I’m not alone. ✨ There’s a couple I follow who talk about parenthood and entrepreneurship. Their conversations keep me company while I tidy up the kitchen. ✨ Late at night, when the house finally quiets down, I put on a philosophical podcast. Their words ground me and help me reconnect to myself. ✨ And at lunchtime? Comedy podcasts. Just a few minutes of laughter and I’m reset for the day. These voices are my companions. My pillars. And it’s such a privilege to know I get to be this voice for my listeners too. Just the other day, someone wrote to tell me she listened to my episode at the beach. Another while driving. Another on her daily walk. Can you feel the intimacy of that? In this episode of Lead with Your Voice, I share how you can honour this privilege. Because when you stop broadcasting and start connecting, that’s when listeners feel seen. That’s when they come back. That’s when they reach out, collaborate, and want to learn from you. And as you press play and start listening, ask yourself: Where are your listeners taking you today? Offerings & free resources: https://reginalarko.com/start/ Any questions? | Why hitting pause is (almost) always the right move | 08 sept. 2025 | 00:07:20
My girlfriends will laugh reading this because they know exactly what I’m talking about. I can ramble. Big time. I’ve been guilty of sending voice messages that go on for 10+ minutes, sometimes longer. (And bless them, they still listen and are still my friends!!) When you’re podcasting, especially when you’re doing an unscripted, “just winging it” solo episode, it’s so easy to slip. You’re in the flow, you’re talking to your listeners as if they’re right there in the room with you, and it feels so natural. Which is a good thing! Because podcasting is supposed to feel personal, casual, human. But…there’s a fine balance. And that’s where hitting pause comes in. Hear all about it in this episode where I share about an episode I hit pause on and what you should always ask yourself before you air your next episode. | What Kids Know About Courage That We Don’t | 23 juin 2025 | 00:11:50
Celebrations. Ceremonies. And lots (and lots!) of emotions. All around the world, schools are wrapping up their year, and if you’re a parent (of little children) like me, that probably means you’re deep (really deep!) in end-of-year performances, concerts, and seeing your kids put that final glitter glue touch on little notes for their teachers. I was at one of those ceremonies recently. And there was a concert too. I was sitting there in the audience, trying to get a spot to see my little ones up on stage, I suddenly felt those emotions bubble up. Once I returned home, I realised, I didn’t just tear up because of them.It was also, because of me. Because in them, I saw that 8 year old version of myself who was once just as brave as they are today. In the way they used their voice. So unapologetically. So freely. And it made me think:When did we unlearn that kind of boldness with our own voices? When do we start holding back? That’s exactly what I’m unpacking in this new episode of Lead With Your Voice. Whether you’re a parent or not, this episode will resonate with anyone who’s been feeling disconnected from their voice lately. So pour yourself your favourite comfort drink, take a walk, or just find a moment for yourself, and tune in. 🎧 Listen to the episode now And if this one moved you, it would be so lovely if you would reach out and let me know. | Podcasting Is Leadership. On Your Terms. | 28 mai 2025 | 00:18:11
‘Leadership’. What comes up for you? I used to believe being a leader meant being the loudest voice in the room, holding a big job title, managing huge teams, owning the spotlight. And because that never felt like me… I assumed leadership just wasn’t for me. “I guess I’m not really the leader type” is what I told myself. And there is nothing wrong about that. I am a great networker, I am a great organiser, I am a great researcher. I don’t have to be the head of a team to find professional fulfilment. Yet…back when I was working with The Economist in Hong Kong, many years ago, I felt it for the very first time, that ambition of wanting to step into a leadership position. In this week’s episode of Podcasting With Impact, I open up about how launching my podcast flipped the script on what I thought leadership had to look like. Because when I started podcasting something shifted. Suddenly, I was the one setting the tone.Asking the questions. Creating space for others to reflect and be real. And my guests? They saw me as a leader.Long before I was ready to claim that word for myself. 🎧 In this episode, you’ll hear: → Why quiet, intentional leadership is powerful → How podcasting becomes a practice ground for leading with presence, from a curious, understanding place → A personal story about the moment I for the very first time got a glimpse of what leadership could look like for me and how this relates to you. Whether you’ve already launched your podcast or are still dreaming about it, this episode will help you reflect on what leadership really means to you. Because every time you show up with your voice and your values: You. Are. Leading.
Listen now and let it land. Your voice is needed. And your version of leadership? It’s needed too.

| How To Grow Your Podcast Audience? | 05 mars 2025 | 00:22:44 | |
Listening to this episode will help you to show up for the podcast in the most impactful way with the simplest, most unexpected and efficient strategy to market your podcast so you can grow that audience of yours. But before we dive in, let’s get just get one important thing on the record: This isn’t just about growth for the sake of growth. Ask yourself why you want to grow. Because even with a small, niche audience, you can get incredible results, if you’re speaking directly to your perfect target group. And I am speaking from experience here. My podcasts aren’t hitting millions of downloads, yet they are impactful and help me grow my own coaching business. It’s about impact, not just numbers. You don’t need everyone to listen to you, you need the right people. A small, engaged audience that actually cares about your content is way more powerful than thousands of passive listeners. So as you are eager to grow your audience, focus on deep connections, not just reach. Because, you see, the best marketing isn’t complicated. It’s showing up, being human, and making it ridiculously easy for people to fall in love with you and your podcast. And in this episode I will show you how to make that happen. And it all starts here: How are you currently showing up with your podcast? To market our podcast better and grow our audience we need to evaluate where we are right now. Ask yourself: 1.) How satisfied are you currently with your podcast? Are you excited and proud of your episodes? YES? Great! This will show in the way you speak and share about your podcast. No? Look closer what you want to improve. It you yourself are not excited about your podcast, why should others be listening? Every new episode you produce is an opportunity for you to learn and improve, so that you are excited to share about your podcast. 2.) How are you sharing about your podcast? Let’s say you are sharing about your podcast on your socials: Are you actually adding the link so people can start listening and following your show right away? It doesn't help if you only add the Spotify and Apple link. Use a site like pod.link or episodes.fm to share a universal link that gives people many different options where to find your podcast. 3.) Are you using and leveraging all your own marketing channels to showcase your podcast (Your own website? Your newsletter? Your website? Your Linkedin Featured section?) Make sure that your Podcast is showcased across all the touch points with your audience. Last but not least, if you want to grow your audience, you need to talk about your podcast - a lot. Not just with your new contacts but also with your existing community members. Many people that follow you might not even know that you have a podcast. Pop in peoples DMs and share an episode that you think is relevant for them. Ask people you connect with about topics they struggle with and create an episode on that particular topic. This approach is personal, it aims at connecting on a deep level and turning your listeners into your biggest fans. Because in the end, and I know I repeat myself now but it is crucial to remind ourselves of this often: it isn’t about everyone listening to our podcast. It is about the right people listening to our podcast.

| Mini Tip: Beat Procrastination & Treat Yourself to Success | 03 mars 2025 | 00:06:58 | |
Free Ebook! How to start Podcasting with impact. Schedule your complimentary Podcast Boss Call with Regina HERE. Today, I want to share a quick mini-tip with you. As you embark on your podcasting journey, you'll encounter new tools you've never worked with. I completely understand how daunting this can be, as it's easy to procrastinate or get distracted rather than face the task at hand. When you're about to edit your first podcast, for example, it can be overwhelming. Like you, I've recently started learning a new editing tool called Descript. Many of my clients are using it, and I want to be on top of my game to support them. Learning new tools is essential, especially as the podcasting world continues to evolve. For many years, I've happily used GarageBand and Audacity for audio editing, but new tools like Descript present exciting opportunities. However, carving out time to learn these tools can be a challenge. I often have tutorial videos bookmarked, with every intention of watching them, only to say, "Not today." But I want to share a lovely tip that has helped me push through procrastination: tying a task to a reward. The Art of Reward-Based Motivation I'm not suggesting you must do this, but it might be helpful. Try connecting the thing you need to do—like learning a new tool or watching a tutorial—to a reward. Perhaps a sweet treat might work for you. Personally, I motivate myself by allowing a small indulgence while tackling a task. Here's what works well for me: I'll take a few bites of a delightful Krapfen—a sweet bun with marmalade and sugar—while watching a tutorial. Alongside, I enjoy a lovely cup of coffee. It's a small act of kindness to myself. Remember, moderation is key. Indulging every now and then is perfectly okay. We all need a little slack now and again. Creating Your Unique Reward System Your treat doesn't have to be a sugary snack. Consider treating yourself to a special cup of coffee or tea you don’t brew daily, or perhaps opting for a healthier choice, like a smoothie or an exotic fruit. The idea is to make it something special that you don't indulge in every day. For instance, during Fasching in Austria, Krapfens are everywhere, tempting me daily. But today, they're a special treat, helping me push through and complete my tutorial. Once I've finished it, I'll pick up my kids from school, knowing I've accomplished something. Encouraging Progress Through Rewards So, what will your reward be today? What's that little treat you can look forward to once you've completed your task, whether it's a podcast tutorial, writing a delayed script, or scheduling that first interview? Feel free to share your progress with me on social media. Tag me, Regina underline Larko, on Instagram or Regina Larko on LinkedIn. I'd love to see how you're growing your podcast, tackling new tools, or any project you’re working on. Let's cheer each other on and build our beautiful podcasts together. Let's cut ourselves some slack and celebrate each step forward. What's your treat for today? Free resources for your Podcasting journey:

| Why Failing Is Your Secret to Podcasting Success | 05 févr. 2025 | 00:19:31 | |
Schedule your complimentary Podcast Boss call HERE. The other day, I listened to this really wonderful podcast the other day called “ A Slight Change of Plans” where host cognitive scientist Maya Shankar talked with her guest Adam Grant about “Unlocking your potential” What particularly stood out with me was how they talked about failing taking neuroscience into consideration. „from a neuroscientific perspective the best way to boost brain plasticity is to fail at things", says Maya in the episode. Today I want to explore how this applies to us podcasters and how this neuroscientific approach to looking at failing can also help us to uncover our full potential as podcasters. Failing is something that every podcaster experiences, yet very few of us like to talk about. Whether it’s forgetting to hit record on a perfect interview or realizing your format just isn’t clicking with your audience, these moments of "oops" and "oh no" are actually gifts in disguise. By the end of this episode, I’ll show you why failing is one of the most valuable things you can do for your podcast, including your first 3 steps to start embracing failure to reach your podcasting goals. Mentioned in this episode:
