Kristal Adams is a stand-up comedian, storyteller, and writer based in New York City. Originally from Southern California, she was spotlighted as one of Madame Noire’s "7 Black Female Comics to See Before They Blow Up." Kristal has worked as a Consulting Producer on hit shows like Lego Masters, Netflix’s The Circle, and Hulu’s Searching for Soul Food. She has been featured in Season 2 of Laugh After Dark on Amazon Prime Video, JFL’s Straight Up, Stand Up series, VidCon, and SF Sketchfest, and won "Best of Fest" at the 2019 Big Pine Comedy Festival. Highlighted by WhoHaha in their inaugural Comedian Callout, Kristal also released her debut album, Ain’t I a Wombat, in 2022 to critical acclaim, earning features on NPR, Ebony Magazine, and Paste Magazine. Kristen is a Los Angeles based Second City standup, actress and violiness from Dayton Ohio. She completed both the Second City writing and improv conservatory programs in Chicago and was selected as Best Musical Comedian in the Laugh After Dark comedy fest in Vegas. Appeared on One Night Stand Up Comedy Special LIVE on NYE. Past regular at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. She was also named a “Comedian You Should Know,” which features shows in Chicago, LA, and NY. Kristen also brought home an Orchid Award in Cincinnati for best comedic actress in the production of “The Curious Savage” and continues to perform comedic and dramatic roles in film.
