It’s hard to have a rational discussion over differing opinions about almost anything, in America these days, but the Center for Public Deliberation at Colorado State University is training students to help change that.  On a new Faith in Progress podcast, I speak with Martin Carcasson, Director of the Center, and one of his students, about their work.

The newest Faith in Progress podcast is a recording of a discussion between about 80 people in Fort Collins (live and virtual) with two spokespeople of the joint Palestinian-Israeli peace group Parents Circle Families Forum.  The group is made up of Israeli and Palestinian families, each of whom has lost a close loved one to the conflict; they have all chosen reconciliation over revenge, and work together for peace.
