How One Man Biked The World… By Accident
Saison 1 · Épisode 5
jeudi 23 janvier 2025 • Durée 38:28
Today, I’m sitting down with Andrew, whose two-week biking trip turned into a journey spanning 27,461 miles across 37 countries. Since his travels, he’s raised over $20,000 for the Trevor Project, helping prevent LGBTQ+ youth suicide.
Along the way, he faced a slew of wild challenges, including getting hit by a truck in Peru, being robbed at knifepoint, and even being hospitalized with food poisoning. He got stuck in a small village in Pakistan for three days due to a landslide and often had to sleep in his tent on the street. To top it all off, he found himself stranded at the Kazakhstan border after forgetting his visa.
But what kept Andrew going was the excitement of seeing the world and, most importantly, the unexpected kindness of strangers. Let’s dive in!

Today I’m talking with one of my best friends, Siena Muscianisi, a talented freelance photographer, filmmaker, and designer. Now, she’s focused on building her portfolio in the cycling industry, collaborating with brands like USA Cycling and Mad Gravel.
In this episode, Siena discusses the challenges of solo travel, overcoming fears, and how these experiences pushed her out of her comfort zone and fostered personal and professional growth. She shares stories of being denied entry at the Norway border, her love for Irish culture, seeing the Northern Lights, and lessons from spontaneous trips and freelancing around the world!
