In support of the album, Twiztid went on the "End Of Days" tour, and in similar fashion to Toxic Terror, had an exclusive EP available at the merch booth. Anyway, Violent J made a solo album and called it The Shining and it has nothing to do with the movie. Released on his birthday on 2009, he took an album he didn't finish, gave away for free at the 2008 GOTJ, and decided he could make money off of it the following year. Wow I made it a whole 2 albums on my own, can you believe it?? Things are going well as we dive into a bit of an expansion of the Allaverse, meeting some new characters and giving them their own tracks here and there.

Alla Xul Elu released their sophomore album, Sci-Co Volume 1, just 8 months after their debut, on October 17, 2015.

Where Head of Horns was an introduction to Billy Obey and Joe Black’s aesthetic and sound, Sci-Co Volume 1 was a very experimental album featuring a variety of styles, topics and a number of guest performers. 

The title, “Sci-Co” comes from Alla Xul Elu’s home in Scioto County, OH. The idea was to include guest appearances from other musicians from the Scioto County area but expanded to include everyone from Dark Half’s Geno Cultshit to Mastamind of Natas.

The resulting record is a mix of upbeat party songs, bleak horrorcore, nostalgic odes to childhood in the 1990s and boastful battle raps.

The Joker Cards have come and gone. The saga of the Dark Carnival has ended and would never EVER been touched upon again. Insane Clown Posse have still been around, though. In November of 2002, ICP released the most important album of their career, the culmination of 6 Joker Cards. To some, this was everything they could want and more. The Rydas laid waste to the block, shooting everyone and everything in sight. Nothing was safe, nothing untouched. That is, except you. In the pandemonium, you somehow were spared. As you gathered yourself, you watched as their black truck pulled away, hearing them yell about getting something called "scrimps". You didn't care to find out what that was, so you started to make your way to safety. But something caught your eye. On the ground, something shiny glinted from the sunlight. As you reached for it, you notice it's a CD. Flipping it over, you read the words "Limited Edition", with 4 song titles listed, 1 actually being that same word "Scrimps". As you stare at it, befuddled, you don't hear the approaching truck from behind. But you DO hear the gunshot. It's the last sound you would ever hear.

Alright, hear me out. I know country is a far cry from what our general audience is into, even for the Boonshot weirdos out there, but this isn't just ANY country album. Back in 2014, I went to a week long getaway with a bunch of amazing guitarists to enjoy clinics, jam sessions, all kinds of stuff. One of the people I met there later posted a partial cover of a song that I would have thought was from one of those guitarists who's famous only among guitarists, but no. It's none other than Brad Paisley, who I later came to understand is one hell of a musician. Today is about taking a journey through an album all about showcasing that ability, Brad Paisley's 2008 album, Play: The Guitar Album.

I'm not sure we've ever had an artist featured on so much stuff before they had their OWN actual debut release, but that seems to be the case with Anybody Killa. Seriously, the guy seems to pop up everywhere, from being on some of the best tracks on Blaze's "1 Less G N Da Hood" to yelling in the background of tracks on The Wraith. Killa certainly made his presence known. But in 2003, the underground would finally get to hear what ABK could do on his first full-length LP. Does he stand on his own? Who has the best guest feature? Is The Warriors a good movie? How many Native American references are thrown in this record? Hope you can keep track, because we didn't.
