| Friends (leaving “bad” friends, their influence on you, and how it should be according to Islam) | 31 Aug 2022 | 00:11:25 | |
On Social media and in real life I see tons of people choosing to be friends with people that just aren't a positive influence on them.
We as believers should be uplifting one another and constantly helping & advising in order to help eachother grow as much as possible.
In Bukhari it’s narrated that the prophet ﷺ said ‘The believers are like a building, they support and strengthen each other.’
Find friends that will bring out the best Muslim in you. Find friends that will help soften your heart and will help you do good deeds long after they’re gone.

| Forgiving yourself for your sins and moving on | 29 Aug 2022 | 00:06:16 | |
I see a lot of us going back to اللة SWT and sincerely asking for forgiveness. And so, He forgives us. “Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” {49:14}
But why is it that even after our Lord has forgiven us, we feel the need to rid ourselves with guilt. We burden ourselves with the pain of the mistakes we’ve made and the consequences of them when in reality we should be moving on.
These emotions often manifest into something larger such as self hatred and religious insecurity. We think we aren’t good enough for الله SWT. Oftentimes many also start to think that الله SWT doesn’t love them, that He hasn’t forgiven them and that brings more turmoil to our hearts.
Instead, we should be taking the opportunity that الله SWT has given us to build ourselves anew. The fact that الله SWT let you be conscious of your wrongdoings is a sign that He wants you to come back to him and repent. It’s a sign that he wants you to become better.
But how can you do that if you do not forgive yourself first? Take that first step. Free yourself of your past. Give yourself that gift. You deserve to move on.

| How to Stop Listening to Music (struggling with music addiction, tips and tricks, positive impacts, etc.) | 22 Dec 2023 | 00:26:58 | |
In this episode we explore ways to stop listening to music. Recognizing this as an addiction is the first step. It's a tough journey; it requires discipline and mental effort. But the moment you realize that music isn’t essential for contentment and that you’re doing this for the sake of Allah, the struggle becomes worthwhile. Understanding why we're quitting music is vital. Yes, it's haram, and while some argue over its permissibility, the message is clear: modern music isn’t in line with Islamic teachings. Allah has forbidden it for a reason – it creates an artificial happiness, affecting our devotion in prayer and, consequently, our faith. We go over being mindful of what enters our mental space from platforms such as TikTok, and controlling what we consume, replacing music with halal alternatives like Quran or lectures, gradually decreases our reliance on it. | How to pray Tahajjud (success stories, why should we pray it, how to pray it, etc.) | 10 Dec 2023 | 00:09:12 | |
We go over why Tahajjud holds a significance in Islam, its benefits, and success stories shared by listeners.
Based on the Hadith "Our Lord, may He be blessed and exalted, comes down to the lowest heaven every night when the last third of the night is left, and He says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’” (narrated from Abu Hurayrah RA that the Muhammad ﷺ said:)
For those curious about performing Tahajjud, I share practical steps, from waking up at the right time to setting intentions and performing the prayers with sincerity. We delve into the flexibility regarding the number of rakats and the meaningful dua afterwards.
