What If Uncertainty Is Your Best Friend? with Jeffrey Schwab01 Aug 202600:53:24

If you are stuck in a decision, waiting for clarity, or trying to control what comes next, this conversation is for you.

In this episode of JORMAZIN`, I’m joined by Jeffrey Schwab, founder of Uncertain Pathfinders and wonderfully, Chief Possibility Officer.

Together, we explore how uncertainty can become less of an enemy and more of a companion. Not because everything becomes easy. But because we may not need the whole path before taking one small honest step.

Jeffrey uses coaching, facilitation, applied improv, and playful experimentation to help people meet the unknown with more curiosity, courage, and connection. In our conversation, he shares how improv shaped his relationship with uncertainty, why he chose to put the word “uncertain” into his work, and how small everyday experiments can shift the way we relate to not knowing.

This episode is not about fixing uncertainty or forcing clarity.

It is about moving from overthinking toward action.

From control toward curiosity.

From needing the perfect plan toward trusting the next small “bunny hop.”

And from feeling alone in uncertainty toward remembering that not knowing is part of being human.

In this conversation:

How to move when clarity has not arrived yet

Why uncertainty does not always mean you are lost

How improv can help us trust what emerges

What it means to choose curiosity over fear

Why small “bunny hops” can be more useful than perfect long-term plans

How playfulness can create connection, even in serious moments

Why being too attached to outcomes can limit possibility

A simple everyday exercise to shift your relationship with not knowing

&

Why saying “I don’t know” can be honest, human, and connecting

Question for your week:

Where in my life am I waiting for certainty before taking one honest step?

Or more simply:

What becomes possible if I let uncertainty be my friend for a moment?

If this conversation supported you, follow or subscribe - and if someone came to mind while listening, send this episode to them.

You’re amazing! Not because you always know the path. But because something in you can keep listening, choosing, and becoming, even when the path is unclear.

When You Can’t Explain It Yet | 10-Minute Pause & Sense18 Jul 202600:12:31

You’re amazing. I mean it.

And maybe part of your amazingness is that you know more than you allow yourself to know.

Not in a loud way. Not always in a clear way.

Sometimes it starts as a tiny signal. A feeling in your body. A word that appears. A silence that suddenly feels full. A sense that there is something more here.

Before you know, you sense.

In this Pause, I explore what happens when you stop ignoring that quiet signal and start listening to it more closely.

Because sometimes the thing you sense is not asking you to be certain. Maybe it is asking you to pay attention.

In this Pause:

Why your first signal is often the one you want to dismiss

What happens when you override what you feel because you cannot explain it yet

Why the body often notices before the mind catches up

How one honest sentence can shift a conversation

What it means to trust what you sense without turning it into truth too quickly

Question for your week:

Where in your life do you already sense something but you keep waiting for permission, proof, or perfect words?

If this Pause helped you, subscribe and share it with someone who may need a little more space to listen to what they already sense.

You Already Know. You Just Forgot. | A Pause to Remember05 Jul 202600:11:33

What if the person you are looking for is not someone you need to become, but someone you need to remember?

In this Pause, I explore what changes when we stop treating ourselves like a problem to solve and start meeting ourselves with curiosity again.

Because some of the things we call self-knowledge may actually be old stories we have repeated for so long that they started to feel like truth:

“I’m not disciplined.”

“I always overthink.”

“I’m bad at relationships.”

“This is just who I am.”

But what if those stories are not the whole truth?

What if growth does not always mean becoming more?

What if sometimes it means pausing long enough to remember what has always been there?

In this Pause:

Why growth does not always mean becoming more

How old stories can quietly turn into identity

What changes when you ask, “Is this still true?”

Why curiosity can bring you back to yourself

How to remember one thing that is still true in you

Question for your week:

What have you decided about yourself that deserves another look?

If this Pause supported you, follow or subscribe and share it with someone who may need a moment to remember who they are today.

Where Did Your Attention Go? | A Pause to Come Back21 Jun 202600:16:45

Have you ever been physically present somewhere - but mentally completely elsewhere?

In this 10-Minute Pause, I explore one of the most generous things we can offer - to another person, to a moment, and to ourselves: our real attention.

Because presence is not about being perfect. It is about returning.

In this Pause:

Why your body being somewhere does not mean your attention is there too

What a trip through Japan taught me about collecting experiences vs. truly entering them

The three levels of listening — and how they change the quality of every relationship

Why coming back is not a failure — it is the practice

Three simple invitations to bring more presence into your week

Question for your week:

Who or what is asking for you to really be here?

What If Your Breaks Are Made of Gold? (10-Minute Pause)05 Jun 202600:11:31

Something broke.

Maybe a relationship. A dream. A version of yourself you thought would last.

And maybe your first instinct was to hide it or move on as fast as possible.

In this 10-Minute Pause, I explore Kintsugi - the centuries-old Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold. Not to hide the break. But to honour it.

I’m not a ceramics expert. This is my lens, my understanding, and what this concept activated in me - including a broken mug, a always fully booked workshop, and a coaching moment I have never forgotten.

This episode is for you if you’ve ever tried to get back to who you were before - instead of asking who you are becoming through this.

In this Pause:

  • A simple glimpse into Kintsugi - to join with gold
  • Why the break may be part of the story, not the end of it
  • How what we choose to repair can reveal what we value
  • Why speed is not always healing
  • A gentle Pause to sit with what is asking to be honoured

Question for your week:

What in my life am I trying to hide, rush past, or replace - that might actually be worth repairing with gold?

Or more simply:

What break in my story is asking to be honoured - not erased?

If this Pause helped you, follow or subscribe - and if someone came to mind while listening, send this episode to them.

You're Amazing. Now What? | The Learning–Action Loop29 May 202600:10:47

You're amazing. I mean it.

Not because everything is perfect but because underneath the noise, the overthinking, and the old patterns, there is something whole in you.

But how well do you actually know that person?

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore one of the most powerful movements in personal growth: letting learning and action become partners. Not as a concept, but as a lived experiment you can start today.

Because real change does not come from fixing yourself.

It comes from getting to know yourself more honestly and then taking one courageous step from that knowing.

In this Pause:

Why insight alone does not create change but it is where change begins

Why learning without action becomes a beautiful cage - and action without learning becomes exhaustion

How the Learning–Action Loop works in real life

What sports, morning routines, and listening to myself taught me about one true step

How to begin without a life overhaul

Question for your week:

What do you already know about yourself - that is ready to be lived?

Stop Waiting for the Fog to Lift - On Zuversicht, Hope, and your Next Step22 May 202600:08:35

You are hoping things will work out.

You are hoping the decision becomes clearer.

You are hoping you will feel ready — soon.

And maybe that hope is exactly what is quietly keeping you still.

In this 10-Minute Pause, I explore a German word that English doesn't quite have - Zuversicht - and why the difference between hoping and moving may be the most important shift you make this year.

This episode was inspired by an evening in the room with Prof. Dr. Volker Busch - neurologist, psychiatrist, and one of Germany's most compelling voices on mental strength. His live program "Zuversicht" sold out in Hamburg. He was on stage for almost two hours. About one single word. I haven't stopped thinking about it since.

In this Pause:

Why hope is beautiful — and why it can become passive when it is the only place we stand

What Zuversicht actually means, and why it reaches back more than 1,000 years

Why the fog does not need to lift before you take the next step

How Zuversicht is not manufactured — it is already built from the evidence of your own life

Question for your week:

Where in your life are you hoping — when something in you may already sense the next step?

What We Avoid Holds Energy (10-Minute Pause)15 May 202600:09:49

You can keep moving forward.

Solving, performing, preparing the next thing.

And still feel like something is quietly waiting behind you.

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore the Co-Active principle of Process (Presence) and why a present, alive life is not built from moving faster, but from staying with what is real long enough for something to move.

This episode grew out of a personal realization: I missed the one-year anniversary of JORMAZIN`. Not the date but the feeling. I moved straight past it. And sitting here recording, I noticed: that moment is still here. Still waiting.

In this Pause:

  • Why Process in Co-Active is not a method - it is a way of being with what is here
  • Why we avoid not only pain, but joy, pride, and celebration
  • Why what we avoid holds energy and what we stay with begins to move
  • How one breath of real presence can open what weeks of moving on could not

Question for your week:

Where is life asking me not to fix - but to stay?

When You Feel Stuck, Try One More Perspective (10-Minute Pause)07 May 202600:09:47

Sometimes life feels like there is only one option.

"I have to."

"There is no other way."

"This is just how it is."

And still, something important in you may not be fully honored.

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore the Co-Active principle of Balance - not as work-life optimization, but as conscious choice. Balance begins when we slow down, notice the perspective we are standing in, and gently ask: what else might also be true?

This episode is the next step in a four-part arc. After Fulfillment and Values, today we look at what it takes to choose from what matters in the middle of a full week, real pressure, and a life that keeps moving.

In this Pause:

  • Why Balance is not about perfect distribution, but conscious choice
  • Why feeling stuck often means believing there is only one option
  • How one different perspective can create space
  • Why a resonant choice becomes powerful when we commit to it

Question for your week:

Where in my life have I been living from "I have to" and what becomes possible when I remember I may have more choice than this narrow moment lets me see?

When Did You Last Feel Truly Alive? (10-Minute Pause)01 May 202600:08:45

You can build a life that works perfectly on paper.

And still feel like something important in you is not being honored.

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore the Co-Active theme of Values and why a fulfilling life is not built by achievement alone, but by listening to what is already alive in you.

Two weeks ago I explored Fulfillment and what it means to live a life that feels valued, purposeful, and alive. Today I want to go one layer deeper. Because fulfillment has roots. And again and again, those roots show up in our values.

In this Pause:

Why values in Co-Active are not goals, but ways of being

Why the gap between the life you live and the life your values point toward is not a flaw - it is information

Why living your values doesn't require dramatic change - it starts small, every day

How naming your values more clearly can make decisions easier

Question for your week:

What do I truly value - and am I building my daily life around it?

Step Into the Unknown. It Can Change Your Life. (10-Minute Pause)26 Apr 202600:11:56

You don't know what comes next.

The path is unclear. The answer isn't there yet.

And something inside you says: fix this. Figure it out. Know.

In this 10-Minute Pause, I borrow an idea from Quantum Physics - the Uncertainty Principle - and explore what it can teach us about how we live, how we grow, and how we relate to the unknown.

I'm not a physicist. This is my explanation, through my own lens. And what it activated in me was something I wasn't expecting.

This episode is for you if you've ever felt paralyzed by not knowing — and wondered if the problem is the uncertainty itself… or how you're meeting it.

In this Pause:

What the Uncertainty Principle actually says - in plain human language

Why not knowing is not the same as being lost

How curiosity is braver than certainty

Why presence is more powerful than prediction

What Agile coaching taught me about living in complexity

Question for your week:

Where in my life am I waiting for certainty - when what I really need is curiosity?

You built the career. You hit the goals. You did what made sense.

And something still feels like it's missing.

This episode is for you if you've ever felt the gap between a life that works on paper… and a life that actually feels like yours.

Why fulfillment and success are not the same thing

Why values matter more than external achievement

Why fulfillment is available now — not only when you arrive

You Are More Than the Problem (10-Minute Pause)12 Apr 202600:13:23

Sometimes we get reduced to the problem, the pressure, the role, or the thing that is not working.

But the problem is never the whole person.

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore the Co-Active cornerstone "Focus on the Whole Person" and why real coaching, leadership, and human connection begin when we stop meeting only the issue and start meeting the human being underneath.

This episode is about more than coaching. It is about how often we show up through function, performance, and roles - especially at work, in teams, and in complex systems - while stress grows in the gap between who we are and how we think we need to show up.

In this episode, I reflect on:

  • why people are more than the role they perform
  • why teams often try to solve issues that are actually deeply human
  • why one-on-one coaching can be a powerful starting point
  • and how mind, body, emotion, and spirit all belong in the room

Question for your week: Where in my life have I confused the problem with the person?

Awareness Isn't Enough - Why Real Change Takes Courage (10-Minute Pause)05 Apr 202600:12:47

Some conversations create insight.

But real change asks for something more.

In this 10-minute Pause, I explore the Co-Active cornerstone Evoke Transformation — and why awareness alone is often not enough. Reflection matters. Insight matters. But transformation asks for courage, presence, and a willingness to respond to what the moment truly needs.

I also weave in Dance in This Moment - because real transformation rarely happens through control. It happens when we stay present, let go of the perfect plan, and trust what wants to move right now.

In this episode:

  • why awareness alone often changes nothing
  • why courage matters more than comfort
  • how transformation shows up in the live moment
  • and one short Pause to reflect on what wants to change in your life now

Question for your week:

Where in my life have I confused awareness with transformation?

Triggered by Someone? Meet the Whole Person (15-Minute Pause)29 Mar 202600:14:29

When someone irritates you, drains your energy, or triggers instant judgment, it’s easy to reduce them to a problem. But what changes when you pause and choose curiosity instead?

In this 15-minute Pause, I explore one of the most powerful Co-Active coaching cornerstones: people are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.

This belief sounds beautiful in theory. But in real life, it gets tested in the exact moments where someone in your life feels difficult, exhausting, or hard to meet openly.

In this episode, I share a personal reflection from work and everyday life: how my relationships began to change when I stopped making people wrong, got curious about what was happening inside of me, and chose to meet the person behind the pattern.

You are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. Nothing is missing. You are not broken.

And the same is true for the person in front of you.

In this Pause, I invite you to bring one real relationship to mind and reflect on:

  • what this person triggers in you
  • what story you tell yourself about them
  • what changes when you meet them as a whole person
  • and how to hold yourself that way too

Question for your week:

Who in my life have I reduced to a problem and what changes if I meet them as a whole person?

If this pause helped, subscribe and share it with someone who wants more curiosity, connection, and humanity in their relationships.

Do This First to Make Your Coaching More Powerful (10-Minute Pause)22 Mar 202600:10:19

Most people think coaching starts with the first powerful question.

I’m discovering that it starts earlier - in the conversation where the relationship itself gets designed.

At the beginning of my Co-Active certification, one of the first big surprises was this: we didn’t jump straight into coaching, feedback, or performance. First, we took time to design our alliance.

How do we want to be together?

What helps us feel safe? How do we build trust?

And how do we repair when something feels off?

That hit me.

Because this is not just true for coaching. It’s true for any relationship that matters. In a team. In leadership. In a training. In a partnership. When people want to create something meaningful together, it is powerful to stop running on assumptions and start building the relationship consciously.

In this episode, I share what I’m learning right now about trust, diversity, repair, and why a strong alliance should sometimes even be written down - so you can come back to it, realign, and keep growing from it.

This is not admin. This is not a warm-up.

This is what makes the work possible.

Question for your week:

Where in my life would it help to stop assuming — and start designing the alliance?

If this resonates, follow the show and share it with someone who’s building trust, leading people, or learning how to create stronger relationships.

Empowered Relationships: Tell the Truth Without Losing Connection (15-Minute Pause)15 Mar 202600:14:36

Some relationships stay stuck not because people don’t care - but because nobody ever tells the truth about what the relationship needs.

If you’re a leader, a partner, or someone navigating important relationships at work or in life, this matters: you’re not just dealing with the issue - you’re living inside the space between you and another person. And when that space is full of assumptions, unspoken expectations, or surface-level communication, the relationship loses power.

In this Pause, I share a real example from my work life - how relationships changed when I stopped hiding behind professionalism, opened up more honestly, and started consciously creating more human, more honest, more empowered connection.

You are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole. Nothing’s missing. You are not broken.

And one of my core coaching stances is: nobody gets to be wrong — when something comes up, we don’t judge; we get curious and understand.

Try this: bring one real relationship to mind where something feels tense, unclear, distant, or unfinished — and do the Pause with me.

Question for your week:

What truth could make this relationship more alive?

If this helped, subscribe and share it with someone who wants more honesty, trust, and human connection in their relationships.

How to Set Boundaries (Even When They Push Back)07 Mar 202600:10:33

Saying no is one thing.

Saying no without guilt - and staying calm when people push back - is the real skill.

In this 10-minute Pause, I guide you through a simple, coaching-style tool to:

  1. find your boundaries (body, time, energy, respect)
  2. name them in one clear sentence
  3. handle pushback when someone asks again or crosses the line

My coaching stance is simple:

I’ll slow things down with you, help you notice what’s true, and support you in choosing one small next step — in a way that fits your relationships and your life.

You are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.

And a special moment:

In a few weeks I’m starting my international coaching certification phase, and I’m onboarding a few more clients.

Release the Heat, Keep the Power (From Anger to Action in 5 min)26 Feb 202600:08:37

Anger isn’t “bad.” It’s often energy + information - a signal that something you value is being touched, or a boundary wants protecting.

In this short JORMAZIN` Pause, I’ll guide you through a calm, somatic reset to:

  1. notice the “heat” in your body
  2. discharge the charge (without suppressing it or acting it out)
  3. decode the value or boundary underneath

Lunar New Year Reset (Feb 17): Use The Fire Horse Energy13 Feb 202600:10:05

Lunar New Year begins on Feb 17, 2026 — a meaningful turning point across many Asian cultures, marked by family, renewal, and tradition. With deep respect and gratitude for these roots, I’m borrowing the symbol of the Fire Horse as a metaphor: momentum, courage, aliveness.

In this 10-minute reset, I’ll translate that “energy” into something grounded - a fresh perspective and one brave next step you can take this week. No predictions. No hype. Just a practical pause to feel lighter, clearer, and moving forward.

If this helps, subscribe for more weekly pauses - and share it with someone who could use a reset.

Everything Is Energy: A Pause That Changes Your Perspective | Abdelrahman Armouti06 Feb 202601:07:43

What if you’re not stuck… you’re just not holding the steering wheel?

In this episode, Abdelrahman and I start our journey through Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza — beginning with Chapter 1: “Opening the Door to the Supernatural.”

Abdelrahman has read the book multiple times. I’m just starting.

And we decided to explore it together - as coaches and as humans - so you can take something practical into your own life, too.

In this conversation, we explore:

  1. Why stress + survival mode can quietly shape your identity
  2. How coaching creates space to shift from fight/flight → creativity
  3. What “everything is energy” means in real day-to-day life
  4. Why the goal isn’t “more success” — it’s feeling it now
  5. The “mystical” side (and why it can still be grounded)
  6. A powerful reminder: you don’t need a crash to change your life

Tiny takeaway (try this today)

Pause for 60 seconds. Ask:

“Am I in survival… or in creation?”

Then take one breath as your future self.

  1. Wie fühlte sich das an?
  2. Welche Geschichte gehört dazu?
  3. Welche Metapher beschreibt es am besten?

  • Was Organisationen wirklich zukunftsfähig macht

How to Create Real Human Connection in a Remote World │Jamie Hanratty, Co-Founder of Ludi26 Nov 202501:04:50

⭐ From Lukewarm to Confetti & Real Collaboration — How Ludi brings soul, play & presence back into remote work.

In this episode, I’m speaking with Jamie Hanratty — Co-Founder of Ludi, father, creative builder of digital spaces, and someone who designs tools that help teams collaborate with soul, play, and presence.

And that’s exactly what this conversation explores:

How do we truly connect in remote work?

How does temperature, presence, play, and human warmth shape collaboration?

And why does remote work so often feel… lukewarm?

We talk about presence, pacing, energy, deep listening, co-active stance, team culture, psychological safety, and the search for a better word than “humanless.”

This episode didn’t feel like an interview — it felt like a Co-Active conversation: slow, intuitive, open, reflective.

Jamie shares his journey from Product Manager to Founder, the story behind the now-iconic Confetti Cannon, and how Ludi brings more soul, playfulness, and humanity into digital collaboration.

This episode invites you to rethink what human connection in remote work can look like — softer, warmer, deeper.

💡 This episode is for you if you…

  • ever felt remote work is “too cold”
  • want to understand how to warm up team energy
  • facilitate teams and care about presence & collaboration
  • love tools that feel human, not mechanical
  • are curious how a founder thinks about soul, play, and digital teamwork
  • want to understand how coaching stance changes online spaces

  • deinen Schlaf schützen willst und verstehen möchtest, was er dir sagen will.

In Zeit. In Sinn. In das, was mir wirklich wichtig ist. 🌿

Coaching vs. Beratung: Warum du deinen „eigenen Kiez“ erkunden solltest, bevor du Ratschläge suchst.

Emotion, Intuition & Ratio: Warum rationale Argumente selten reichen.

Mindestmaß an Finanzwissen:

Risiko ↔ Rendite: Warum mehr Risiko ≠ mehr Rendite.

Besitz / Verleihen / Wette – die 3 Grundprinzipien jeder Anlage.

Zinseszins: Warum die letzten Jahre entscheidend sind.

Unabhängig informieren: Woran du Interessen erkennst + Tipps zu neutralen Quellen (Verbraucherzentrale, Finanztest, Finanztip).

Gute Finanzcoaches erkennen: Wer bezahlt wen, Passung, Transparenz, Haltung.

„The Future of Leadership – How to Work and Lead in a More Human Way“ mit Mel & Sabrina von Ally.

00:05:25 – Essential 5: Verlangsame. Werde klarer.

The Future of Leadership - How to Work & Lead in a More Human Way | Mel & Sabrina from Ally15 Oct 202501:06:04

What if the key to real leadership, better teamwork, and sustainable performance isn’t a new strategy — but reconnecting with what makes us human?

In this powerful, heart-opening episode, I’m joined by Mel & Sabrina, co-founders of Ally, a coaching company helping leaders and teams thrive by working with their biology — not against it.

They’ve supported global companies, startups, and remote teams with a radical yet simple message:

Empathy isn’t soft. It’s strategic. And it changes everything.

You'll learn:

  • Why your nervous system might be your biggest leadership tool
  • How to build trust in remote, hybrid, or cross-cultural teams
  • What “agility” really means — and why most companies get it wrong
  • How emotions, energy, and even sleep affect your performance
  • What it looks like to lead with both clarity and care — in real life

This episode is grounded, practical, and refreshingly honest.

If you're a leader, coach, HR partner — or just someone who’s tired of pretending at work — this conversation will remind you that you can work differently.

More presence. More trust. More truth. Less noise.

[SPECIAL] Warum ich Momente heute bewusster erlebe - The Last Time Theory08 Oct 202500:06:44

✨ By the way: My conversation with Timothy was the first-ever JORMAZIN’ episode in English.

The English Essentials are available exclusively on YouTube – check them out here!

💡 Was Allyship wirklich bedeutet — nicht Probleme lösen, sondern präsent bleiben.

⏱️ Kapitel & Timestamps

⚠️TW: In this episode, we talk about childhood trauma, family rejection, and violence from a parent. Please listen with care. If you have experienced similar situations, make sure you are in a safe headspace before tuning in.

„We can’t find safety in sameness – but we can build belonging in difference.“

Timothy Tasch grew up moving more than 35 times as a “military brat” – always the new kid, always saying goodbye. Behind closed doors, he faced rejection, manipulation, and violence from a father who had no space for his authentic self.

At 16, Timothy left Canada with a suitcase to start a new life in Germany.

What followed was a journey of resilience, allyship, and learning to write his own story.

This conversation is raw, vulnerable, and inspiring. It is about the courage to break free, the power of allies, and the reminder that we are not built to do this alone.

Today, Timothy is a trainer, coach, and speaker on diversity, allyship, new work, and communication. His story is proof that we can transform pain into purpose – and that one ally can change everything.

This is the deepest JORMAZIN` conversation yet – and I am deeply honored that Timothy chose this space for his very first podcast as a guest.

🔹 What you’ll take away from this episode:

💡 Why diversity is not a buzzword but a lived experience of belonging and difference.

💡 How childhood trauma can shape resilience and authentic leadership.

💡 Why allyship is never optional – and how one sentence can change a life.

💡 What it means to “make things speakable” in teams and organizations.

💡 How to hold on through tough times – and become the ally someone else needs.

🎯 This episode is for you if you …

✅ have ever felt different, rejected, or out of place

✅ want to understand allyship & diversity beyond buzzwords

✅ are a leader, trainer, or HR professional working with teams

✅ need courage to rewrite your own story

✅ want to be reminded: you can become the ally someone is waiting for

🔹 Was dich in dieser Folge erwartet:

Warum? Weil Haltung fehlt.

💡 Psychologische Sicherheit ist kein Nice-to-have
