Dallas Cowboys Mock Draft Party — Live Picks & Fan Q&A29 Mar 202600:36:09

Did a couple of live mock drafts for the Dallas Cowboys — neither one looked exactly like the standard mocks you've been seeing. I'd like you to choose your fighter when you've heard both mocks.

Dallas Cowboys Combine News/Opinions With Bryan Broaddus27 Feb 202600:33:48

We got the linebackers and the defensive ends on the field last night and will get the defensive backs and tight ends tonight. Did Sonny Styles underwear Olympics his way out of the Cowboys range? Did Reuben Bain measure his way TO the Cowboys? What are we hearing about the Cowboys plans in Indianapolis so far?

Join Jeff Cavanaugh and Bryan Broaddus (eventually) for Trust the Tape.

Bryan Broaddus on NFC East leaving Cowboys behind, Ashton Jeanty possibility20 Jan 202500:33:58

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we will talk the Dallas Cowboys NFC Championship Game drought, head coaching search and the possibility of Ashton Jeanty coming to Dallas to Saquon Barkley this thing. The Dallas Cowboys haven't played in the NFC title game since 1995. That is now the longest drought in the conference by FIFTENN YEARS. It will be an All-NFC East title game and we're left to wonder where are the Cowboys in this division heading forward? Who is going to be the next head coach for Dallas? Robert Saleh and Kellen Moore have interviewed for the job, Leslie Frazier is about to and other candidates will as well. What is the biggest reason for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys failures? Do these playoffs tell us to go ahead and fire a first round pick at a running back and see if Ashton Jeanty can change the Cowboys fortunes? We're loaded today, come join the Cowboys party.

Bryan Broaddus on Mike McCarthy departure, Deion Sanders rumors, NFL Draft14 Jan 202500:36:19

Bryan Broaddus joins me to talk about Mike McCarthy being out and the search for the next Cowboys coach being on. Deion Sanders name popped up last night from credible people and we can give you what you need about that. Other names that we think will consider include Kellen Moore certainly, perhaps Jon Gruden and/or Pete Carroll and more. Plus this means Mike Zimmer and the assistants are on the outs also. What are we going to do about that? And you know we'll talk some NFL Draft because it's our favorite thing. Settle in for another edition of Trust the Tape.

Mike McCarthy OUT as Dallas Cowboys head coach, exploring options14 Jan 202500:42:53

Mike McCarthy told Jerry Jones no thank you. With his contract expiring tonight the Super Bowl winning coach will be moving on in hope of landing a job in Chicago, New Orleans or elsewhere. Regardless of the exact way this went down, there is no way that Jerry Jones doesn't come out looking like an incredibly inept operator of a football team. Now the Cowboys will have a coaching search that will include whoever wants to work on the cheap and put up with the Dallas Cowboys circus. Get ready for Jon Gruden and Kellen Moore talk. Who do you want as the next coach of the Cowboys?

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys draft needs, strategies, player rankings09 Jan 202500:32:51

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me for another episode of Trust the Tape. We have fully entered draft season and we'll talk about the Cowboys biggest needs and wants, which position groups have the talent to line up for their needs and some of our pet cats. Bring your questions and lets Make The Cowboys Great Again. Do we love or hate a RB in the first round? Every mock draft has Ashton Jeanty to Dallas. Which receiver pairs best with CeeDee Lamb? Tet McMillen, Luther Burden, Emeka Egbuka or other? Who can help fix this defensive line with or without Osa Odighizuwa's return? It's a really defensive tackle class. All the draft things. Come be a part of it.

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys coaching future, welcome to Draft Szn07 Jan 202500:39:42

Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and today I refuse to rant about Jerry Jones but we've gotta talk about what he had to say about Mike McCarthy's future. When will we have the decision on McCarthy, Mike Zimmer and the rest of the coaching staff? Plus we are officially in to draft season now. With the loss to the Washington Commanders they hay is in the barn and we know where the Cowboys are picking and how many things they need. Let's do this. Time to figure out if we're adding Ashton Jeanty, Luther Burden, Emeka Egbuka, Kelvin Banks, Malaki Starks etc.

Bryan Broaddus on Zeke release, Cowboys RB plans, game vs Washington02 Jan 202500:31:43

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday as we approach the final Cowboys game of the season against the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Ezekiel Elliott has been released by the Cowboys for the second time in three years which probably tells us at least two things. What is the Cowboys plan at RB moving forward? Will they bring Rico Dowdle back and who else could be involved? How much of the game against Washington will looks like an exhibition for the Cowboys and how are we feeling about Mike McCarthy and Mike Zimmer going forward? We know Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons want their guys back, but where are Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones on this?

Bryan Broaddus on Cowboys loss to Eagles, NFL Draft plans (get CeeDee Lamb help!)30 Dec 202400:31:21

Bryan Broaddus joins us as he does every Monday and Thursday and this week we'll talk about what happened with the Dallas Cowboys getting smashed by the Philadelphia Eagles. Cooper Rush couldn't play efficient football, none of the non CeeDee Lamb WRs were able to get anything done, Micah Parsons and the defense couldn't hold up long enough against Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, AJ Brown and company and now Mike McCarthy is a bad coach again. Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons say they're going to campaign to bring back the coaches, is that what we want? Plus, the Cowboys currently sit with the 13th pick in the NFL Draft and can get as high as 11th next week. Is that the sweet spot?

Bryan Broaddus on what to watch for in Cowboys-Eagles, NFL draft content27 Dec 202400:32:16

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday (except when it's a Friday) and this week we discuss the end of CeeDee Lamb's season, the Cowboys and Eagles matchup and of course some NFL draft things.

Bryan Broaddus on Cowboys win over Tampa, Mike McCarthy's future, CeeDee Lamb's changing narrative23 Dec 202400:34:27

The Dallas Cowboys learned they couldn’t make the postseason yesterday afternoon and proceeded to go beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (who are very much in the playoff mix) last night. CeeDee Lamb is doing some serious narrative changing with the toughness he’s showing down the stretch. Mike McCarthy is making a final push to remain the head coach next season. Jourdan Lewis is continuing the best year of his career and making a strong case to get the biggest contract of his career. Cooper Rush had a career game. Micah Parsons and the rest of Mike Zimmer’s defense are in a groove. The season might be ‘over’ but the Dallas Cowboys refuse to play like it.

Bryan Broaddus on Trevon Diggs injury, Micah Parsons response, impending free agents16 Dec 202400:32:51

The Dallas Cowboys smoked the Carolina Panthers and suddenly look like they've got a little something going too late. Bryan Broaddus joins us to break it all down. We'll talk about the improved play of the offensive line. How does a team keep getting better and better as they lose more guys to injury? Plus why does the entire team hate Dak Prescott. They once again are getting very limited play at the QB spot but playing awesome defense and able to run the hell out of the ball. Trevon Diggs is done for the year and possibly 2025. Clarence Hill of DLLS Sports told us the Cowboys were unhappy with the way he rehabbed the previous injury, and Micah Parsons didn't like that. Which impending free agents will/can the Cowboys prioritize going in to next year? Big decisions on Osa Odighizuwa, Rico Dowdle, Jourdan Lewis and Chauncey Golston.

Will the Dallas Cowboys 'Bust the Budget' with at least ONE big free agent?10 Feb 202600:31:16

Jerry Jones once again used the term bust the budget when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys offseason. Will that mean there will be some urgency to getting a George Pickens deal done? Will they add a premium free agent? Plus let's play a little game of Dallas Cowboys Draft This or That? We'll put similarly ranked players for the 2026 NFL Draft against each other and see who Bryan Broaddus and myself prefer for the Dallas Cowboys. Mansoor Delane or Jermod McCoy? Cashius Howell or Akheem Mesidor? CJ Allen or Anthony Hill? And of course we'll answer your questions throughout the show. Welcome to Trust the Tape!

Bryan Broaddus ranking the top 12 candidates for the Cowboys first pick12 Dec 202400:32:04

The Dallas Cowboys currently hold the 12th pick in the NFL Draft. Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins us to rank our current top 12 prospects to preview the sort of help that could be joining Dallas. Help for the offensive line in front of Dak Prescott? Someone to man the slot for impending free agent Jourdan Lewis? A monster in the middle to ease the pressure on Micah Parsons? Let's get familiar with the best players in this draft.

#Cowboys positive DeMarvion Overshown news, McCarthy thoughts, Draft Q&A11 Dec 202400:36:11

Turn your videos into live streams with https://restream.io The Dallas Cowboys got (relatively) good news on DeMarvion Overshown that should have fans excited. Plus the Mike McCarthy conversation going on everywhere including at The Star in Frisco with Jerry Jones and company, and some offseason and NFL Draft Q&A. What is the biggest Cowboys need? There are a lot of options. - A non CeeDee Lamb wide receiver. - Defensive tackle. Mazi Smith is the only one on the roster next year. - Running back. You ready for the Deuce Vaughn and Hunter Luepke backfield? Let's get Rico Dowdle a new deal. - Offensive line. Their hodgepodge throwtogether group hasn't been bad the last couple of weeks but they have to figure out what Tyler Guyton has and who is replacing Zack Martin. Is it Brock Hoffman? - Linebacker. Damone Clark and Marist Liufau is your whole linebacker group next year. Overshown isn't playing AT LEAST the first half of the season. - Cornerback. With Jourdan Lewis set to be a free agent, there's no one on the roster to put with Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland.

Bryan Broaddus on Cowboys loss vs Bengals, Overshown injury, McCarthy failures10 Dec 202400:31:47

Bryan Broaddus joins me to discuss the Cowboys loss to the Bengals, DeMarvion Overshown's unfortunate injury and what the future holds for Mike McCarthy. He really put me in my place during a McCarthy conversation. Cooper Rush not good enough, Rico Dowdle on fire, still no non CeeDee receiving option to help. This thing's in trouble. Plus snuck in some NFL Draft talk.

Dallas Cowboys NFL Draft chat || Wide Receiver options || Tet McMillen, Luther Burden, Emeka Egbuka09 Dec 202400:26:47

Let's talk about the 2025 NFL draft and some of the guys at wide receiver that could help Dak Prescott, CeeDee lamb and this Cowboys offense get back where they need to be. I'm a big fan of quite a few of these guys so I'll hit you with some scouting report on Tet McMillen, Travis Hunter, Luther Burden III, Emeka Egbuka and more. Hit that like and subscribe button or else (that's not a threat.)

Dallas Cowboys Live Draft Chat #1 || Welcome to Draft Season05 Dec 202400:41:35

Bring your thoughts and your questions for the first live draft chat of the year. We gotta find a lot of guys for the Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott needs someone not named CeeDee Lamb to throw to. Luther Burden? Tet McMillan? He also needs some guys to block. Calvin Banks Jr? We gotta find a RB. Ashton Jeanty? Omarion Hampton? Kaleb Johnson? Defense? Yep, we're in the market for that too. Let's kick around some of thebig names in the draft and find some players.

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys winning 'streak', chances vs Joe Burrow and the Bengals02 Dec 202400:31:10

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan hops on as he does every Monday and Thursday and we've got a winning streak to discuss. The Cowboys have won two in a row and are preparing to host the 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals. Could they keep this thing going? Is it possible that Mike McCarthy is actually the best answer to making a run at this thing next year? How much has the Micah Parsons return changed this defense? And what do you make of Cooper Rush and his performance in relief of Dak Prescott so far?

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys snapping losing streak vs Washington, Team Tank derailment25 Nov 202400:32:51

Some of us might have hoped for a different result, but the Dallas Cowboys showed some fight in a win against the Washington Commanders yesterday. Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb aren't laying down, KaVontae Turpin's insane kick return SHOULD have sealed it but didn't and we had all sorts of twists and turns on the way to a Cowboys win. Rico Dowdle was the engine, Cooper Rush was efficient-ish and Washington's kicker was the best player on the Cowboys. The defense is taking strides, unsung players are making names for themselves, and Team Tank took a big blow. We've also begun on draft fights already. Tet McMillen vs Luther Burden vs Ashton Jeanty vs Malaki Starks. Bryan Broaddus joins us to break it all down.

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys top ten pick options, Commanders preview21 Nov 202400:30:10

Thanks to Jerry Jones wonderful version of team building this offseason, we're halfway to it being draft season as Dallas Cowboy fans. Let's discuss some of the guys the Cowboys will have a shot at and how they can help this team as well as previewing the Cowboys and Commanders this Sunday. Having a top ten pick is fun. Travis Hunter, Tet McMillan, Luther Burden at wide receiver, defensive guys and offensive linemen to know about, we do it all with Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan.

Bryan Broaddus on Ashton Jeanty wanting to be a Dallas Cowboy, Mazi Smith 'greatness' incoming?14 Nov 202400:30:34

Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday and today we'll talk some Dallas Cowboys draft along with analysis of where the team is. Boise St RB and projected first round pick Ashton Jeanty says he wants to be a Cowboy. Are you surprised that's still a thing? If the Cowboys have a top 10 pick does taking a RB make sense? Micah Parsons is predicting greatness for Mazi Smith. You buying? Plus WR Jonathan Mingo is ready to make his Cowboys debut. What's the most interesting storyline for this team right now? Oh and Dak Prescott had surgery. 3 months is the recovery time. Buckle up for Trey Lance and Cooper Rush.

Bryan Broaddus on Cowboys loss to Eagles, Rush vs Lance, Draft Szn is here11 Nov 202400:31:39

The Cowboys without Dak Prescott got throttled again.

The debate about Cooper Rush and Trey Lance will continue as both were absolutely awful. Micah Parsons return helped the Cowboys defense (with DeMarvion Overshown and Trevon Diggs) show life for a half of football but they couldn't sustain it.

This thing is completely, totally broken. Jerry Jones for his part remains defiant about keeping Mike McCarthy through the end of the season and also about letting the sun blind his players.

All that to say, welcome to draft season with our friend Bryan Broaddus.

Dallas Cowboys Mock Draft 1.0 || Trust the Tape07 Feb 202600:32:10

Today we'll run through our first mock of draft season on Trust the Tape and we will do it with a special co-host. Who do you hope the Cowboys come out of the first round with? Is trading up or down a better option? Is there ANY chance one of the picks is an offensive player?

Bryan Broaddus on Cowboys Jerry Jones 'having some things in the mix', film review of Atlanta game04 Nov 202400:32:57

The Dallas Cowboys had another disappointing showing against the Atlanta Falcons leading to some of us (me for example) to conclude the postseason is out of reach this season. Jerry Jones threw a curveball after the game when the Cowboys 'have some things in the mix' with the trade deadline looming tomorrow. Injuries to Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb further complicate things and we discuss how Rico Dowdle is actually good. Stop being cute with Dalvin Cook and Zeke Elliott, let the good dude play.

Bryan Broaddus previews Dallas Cowboys season on the brink vs Atlanta Falcons31 Oct 202400:31:56

The 3-4 Dallas Cowboys are staring at a must win game travelling to Atlanta to take on the Falcons this Sunday. Dak Prescott, who wasn't listed as a top 10 QB by his teammates Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs on Micah's podcast, will have to play cleaner and better football to give the Cowboys a chance. The potential return on DaRon Bland could give a boost to the defense that is tasked with slowing down Kirk Cousins, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, Bijan Robinson etc. What are the causes for optimism in this matchup? Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins to discuss. What are yours? Leave them in the comments!

Jerry Jones Dallas Cowboys 'all in' window? I'll show you, plus the trade Micah Parsons discussion30 Oct 202400:21:21

Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones said the words ALL IN over and over again this offseason and it was never a real thing. He did however tell you the actual plan at one point, we just paid more attention to the fun headline words. They got the Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb deals done just in time, they're going to do the same thing with Micah Parsons. Although the idea of trading Micah is worthwhile, for a couple of reasons that I'll go over. I'll show you exactly how this team was never going to be all in, and exactly when and how they WILL be all in.

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys loss to San Francisco, Trevon Diggs tantrum, Rico Dowdle 'sickness'28 Oct 202400:30:18

The Dallas Cowboys weren't able to overcome the San Francisco 49ers, again. Mike Zimmer's defense continues to be unable to stop the run, the Cowboys can't run the ball themselves despite trying out Dalvin Cook to partner with Ezekiel Elliott this week.

Dak Prescott continues to turn the ball over every week. CeeDee Lamb had a big game but it all stills feels off.

Trevon Diggs hit a reporter with 'deez nuts' after the game.

That's we were are with the Cowboys today. Yikes.

Bryan Broaddus on how the Dallas Cowboys can beat(?) the San Francisco 49ers24 Oct 202400:30:18

We're finally back to football! Let's take a look at the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers and how Dallas can get this thing back on track and get the fanbase believing again. We've got updates on Micah Parsons, DaRon Bland, Deebo Samuel and other guys who have missed games and practices and how they will or won't affect the outcome.

Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and the passing game have got to get it back going. Brock Purdy has had his challenges so far this year and will be missing an important piece. How can the Cowboys slow him, Jordan Mason and the 49ers offense down?

And of course Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy are back in the news because why wouldn't they be? Please smash that like button and make sure you're subscribed!

Bryan Broaddus on Dallas Cowboys chances vs 49ers, Parsons/Bland returns21 Oct 202400:30:55

Bryan Broaddus of 105.3 The Fan joins me as he does every Monday and Thursday to talk about the Dallas Cowboys chances against the San Francisco 49ers. They certainly don't look like world beaters, but the Cowboys are going to have to be a lot better than they've been lately.

The potential returns of Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland certainly make things look a little better defensively, the 49ers should be without Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey. Is that enough to make you feel optimistic about the good guys? Offensively can we expect progress as we move forward from Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe? If not, how in the world can you expect the offense to pick up? Can the Cowboys establish a non CeeDee Lamb threat for offenses to worry about Dak Prescott throwing to? Can they run the ball better with Rico Dowdle and whoever else?

All the questions coming out of the bye and all our answers, right here.

Bryan Broaddus film breakdown of Dallas Cowboys getting smashed by Detroit Lions14 Oct 202400:30:26
The Detroit Lions smoked the Dallas Cowboys 47-9 yesterday. Bryan Broaddus is joining us to break down what the film says about what went wrong and where in the world to go from here. Mike McCarthy's Dak Prescott-led offense had no answers to even try and keep the Cowboys competitive while Mike Zimmer's shorthanded defense got absolutely shredded all day. Jerry Jones said after the game they aren't interested in making trades to help this roster. So what gives you hope for the rest of the season?
Bryan Broaddus Cowboys-Steelers film breakdown || Dak, CeeDee, Tyler Guyton, Turpin, Rico + more07 Oct 202400:30:26

The Dallas Cowboys JUST snuck one out against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night. Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan has already done the film because he's a psycho who doesn't sleep. Did the offensive line get better with Tyler Smith moving to tackle after Tyler Guyton got hurt? Did the wide receiver group upgrade with KaVontae Turpin in for Brandin Cooks? Was this Zeke Elliott's last week on the active roster?

Plus how Mike Zimmer's defense pulled off that performance against Justin Fields and company without Micah Parsons, Tank Lawrence, DaRon Bland, Caelen Carson and Marshawn Kneeland.

Bryan Broaddus on what CAN be fixed after Dallas Cowboys loss to Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry23 Sep 202400:33:32

The Dallas Cowboys run defense didn't show up once again and they got steamrolled by Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and the Ravens. They've got a LOT to work through and try to get right in a hurry. Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and the offense couldn't get off to a fast start. Micah Parsons and Tank Lawrence's defense can't stop anything and now they're getting in to it on the sideline. Lamb's body language was awful during the game and they played their best offense without him. Where do the Cowboys go from here?

Bryan Broaddus on what the FILM says went wrong for Dallas Cowboys vs Saints16 Sep 202400:29:06

Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan joins me to tell us what exactly went wrong with Mike Zimmer's defense against the New Orleans Saints. How were Derek Carr, Alvin Kamara, Rashid Shaheed and Chris Olave able to to shred the Cowboys defense so easily? Scheme or players? Why was Micah Parsons a non factor? We also check in on Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, Zack Martin, Cooper Beebe and Terence Steele. Do they need time to gel or are we worried about it? Plus the $95 million combo of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb and lack of other receiving options

Dallas Cowboys 53 Man Roster Analysis || The Deuce (Vaughn) is loose!28 Aug 202400:23:22

The Dallas Cowboys 53 man roster is official (for now). I'm hyped that Deuce Vaughn is in. We can talk about other position groups and what else Jerry Jones and company need to do before we start playing real football.

Dalvin Cook? More corner or DT help? Hop in let's talk about it.

Dallas Cowboys vs Chargers Trey Lance analysis || DaRon Bland hurt, now what?25 Aug 202400:17:46

After a rewatch of the Dallas Cowboys and Chargers preseason game we can talk about Trey Lance's performance and what the plan SHOULD be for him.

Plus there's a couple of guys on the roster bubble that I think made strong cases that the Cowboy's need to keep them.

#Cowboys offensive line looking DANGEROUS || Dallas-Vegas observations + chat19 Aug 202400:33:06

It looks like the Cowboys 2024 draft could turn out to be a REALLY good one. Cooper Beebe is going to win the starting center job, Tyler Guyton is off to a great start, and this team might be able to rediscover running the football.

No one would be more appreciative than Dak Prescott.

Plus we'll take your questions including who is starting at LB, how the RB/TE groups will shake out and more! Oh can we get Deuce Vaughn on this team!?

#Cowboys finally address defensive line || Sign Carl Lawson, trade for DT Jordan Phillips15 Aug 202400:23:43

The Dallas Cowboys finally made the move we've been asking for since before training camp by trading for another big defensive tackle in Jordan Phillips. This morning we got the news they've also signed DE Carl Lawson.

Analysis of the why now and the what next.

Trevon Diggs Returns, Dak Prescott vs Mike Zimmer || Cowboys Practice Report 8/505 Aug 202400:11:34

Another padded practice for the Cowboys today and the top highlights for me were Trevon Diggs (kind of) returning to practice and the chess game that is going on with Dak Prescott vs Mike Zimmer and company. Plus:

- The WR camp battle continues and it's a good one

- Ryan Flournoy returned to practice in impressive fashion

- The secondary player I haven't talked about enough

Cowboys Blue-White Practice analysis with Broaddus03 Aug 202400:29:38

Bryan Broaddus from 105.3 The Fan and I analyze all the things that we learned from today's Blue-White Dallas Cowboys practice. It was the most intense and physical practice of camp so far and we need to talk about:

- Dak Prescott and the offense's efficiency without CeeDee Lamb

- Mike Zimmer's defensive pressures

- The rookie making huge strides that needs more chances with the first team

- The wide receiver who won't stop making plays

- And more!
