America’s Got Talent (AGT)’s 20th Anniversary Season has concluded!

Earlier this year, thousands of acts auditioned for the chance to impress producers. Only a select few were invited by show producers to appear in front of veteran judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Mel B. 10 acts received an immediate ticket to the live shows thanks to the Golden Buzzer. At the same time, 34 had to wait for the deliberations.

Then, we had the live shows, as for the second year in a row, four acts (Steve Ray Ladson, Mama Duke, Micah Palace (seriously, what was Simon thinking?), and Team Recycled) received the live Golden Buzzer, which immediately took them to the AGT: Season 20 live finale.   After last week’s semifinals, Chris Turner, Jessica Sanchez, Jourdan Blue, Leo High School Choir, Light Wire, and Sirca Marea punched their tickets to the finale!

Which acts rose to the occasion? Who took home the $1 million prize? Who joined Terry Fator, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., Kenichi Ebina, Paul Zerdin, Darci Lynne, Shin Lim, Kodi Lee, the Mayyas, and Richard Goodall in the AGT Winners’ Circle?

Episode #316: Jenny West TALKS Winning ‘Total Madness’, Fitness & Returning for ‘Battle of the Eras’05 Sep 202400:39:22
It is a privilege to welcome online transformation coach and Reality TV star Jenny West to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

Jenny was first introduced to international audiences when she debuted on ITV's Survival of the Fittest's inaugural season. The show focused on young men and women who traveled to a South African savanna and competed in physical and mental challenges against each other.  The show stood out because the contestants had to go on dates with their rival teammates, which were designed to test loyalties and group strength. Like Love Island UK, the winners won a cash prize at the end of the show, and along the way, the viewers decided who stayed and were sent home.

In 2019, Jenny West debuted on MTV's long-running Reality TV series, The Challenge. Her debut season, The Challenge: War of the Worlds 2, saw her join Team UK, which contained a diverse group of rookies including Nicole Bass, Sean Lineker, and Tula "Big T" Fazakerley, established UK veterans Georgia Harrison, Joss Mooney, Kayleigh Morris, Kyle Christie, Rogan O'Connor, Stephen Bear, and Theo Campbell, and reinforcements CT Tamburello and Dee Nguyen. During her time on Team UK, Jenny was sent into elimination twice. While she won the "Trapped" elimination against fellow rookie Nicole Bass, show veteran Tori Deal defeated her in the Hall Brawl elimination.

In 2020, Jenny returned to compete on The Challenge: Total Madness. She won four daily challenges and eliminated Jenn Lee and War of the Worlds 2 champion Dee Nguyen in the Flip the Switch and Hall Brawl eliminations. Eventually, she made her first final and won the season.

Currently, Jenny West returned to The Challenge: Battle of the Eras to compete on the Era Four team alongside some of her generation's heavy hitters, including Theo, Kaycee Clark, Kyland Young, Horacio Gutiérrez, Nurys Mateo, and longtime Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar friend Paulie Calafiore.

When she is not on Reality TV, Jenny is working on her online fitness program Future Proof Fitness (FPF). FPF helps women over 30 unleash s- hot transformations. Using the company's app, her clients can find ways to lose body fat, tone up, and crush their goals.

On this special edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Jenny West spoke about her passion for fitness, crossing the finish line on The Challenge: Total Madness, and returning to the show to compete on The Challenge: Battle of the Eras.

Episode 313: Kyle Daniel TALKS Guitars, Bob Seger, & 'Kentucky Gold'22 Aug 202400:20:31
It is a pleasure to welcome singer, songwriter, and guitarist Kyle Daniel to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

Kyle Daniel's music is a unique blend of classic Southern rock and modern country, a fusion that appeals to a wide range of music lovers. His blue-collar sound resonates in rock clubs, honky-tonks, and everywhere in between. At the heart of this distinctive sound is a guitar hero, storyteller, and songwriter who has earned his audience the old-school way: by touring relentlessly, from dive bars in Tennessee to the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, and hitting key UK festivals along the way.

Kyle, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, began his musical journey at a young age, playing in bars before he could legally drink. His passion for music was undeniable, as he followed in his parents' footsteps to become a skilled guitarist. His early success, winning the Kentucky Blues Challenge at 17 and placing in the finals at the International Blues Challenge at 18, was just the beginning of his inspiring journey.

Later, Kyle began writing songs that showcased not only his fiery fretwork but also his songwriting chops and vocals. His debut EP, Kyle Daniel, was recorded in a single day and released independently in 2018.

Even without a label's help, the self-titled record found critical acclaim, with Rolling Stone praising it for mixing "the gravely twang of Steve Earle with Chris Stapleton's range, plus bigger hooks." After spending several years as a sideman for other artists, Daniel finally claimed his share of the spotlight, brewing up his melting pot of hard-hitting American roots music.

On this edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Kyle Daniel spoke about his lessons from Anderson East, Bob Seger, and Brandy Clark and his debut album, Kentucky Gold.

Episode #305: Alicia G RETURNS & TALKS Instagram Success, 'Spilling the Tea with Alicia G' & "Hey Yo Rodeo"25 Jul 202400:23:46
I am very excited to welcome back singer, rapper, and streaming personality Alicia G to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast!

A Buffalo, New York native, Alicia G, made her worldwide debut when her family appeared on the defunct ABC Reality TV series Wife Swap. The episode made headlines when the producers had twisted Alicia’s story – portraying unorthodox and irrevocably damaging defamation of character – Alicia G found her world in chaos where she faced physical and mental abuse. She addressed her struggles with Dr. Phil in 2013.   Alicia turned to her artistry and began to build her recording career. She started making a following with her takes on rap, hip-hop, and pop music. Her high-energy performances as a performer and DJ led her to share the stage with the Goo Goo Dolls and play at radio-sponsored events.

Her sound caught the attention of multi-platinum producer Andrew Lane, who worked with Backstreet Boys, Becky G, and Miley Cyrus. The two continued to polish her unapologetic, in-your-face music. Their first collaboration, “Pretty Girl,” landed at the top of the Independent Music Chart for three weeks. Other songs that the duo has released include “Talk to the Hand,” “Cash and Nap,” and “It’s Little, But It Jiggles.”

In addition to her recording career, she developed a massive following with live streaming. In March 2019, BIGO recruited Alicia G to join their ranks of online hosts. Alicia G’s audience on BIGO Live is 3.58 million fans, who tune in nightly to see her perform, DJ, and entertain. She also leads the AG Agency, a group of hosts that broadcast on BIGO Live.

On this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Alicia G spoke about wrapping up her third season of Spill the Tea with Alicia G and her latest single, “Hey Yo Rodeo.”

In 2022, Sloan Hooks moved from Florida to West Hollywood to pursue his passion for entertainment and film his podcast, Let’s Get into It. The podcast’s YouTube channel features on-camera interviews and in-depth investigations and has over 208,000 subscribers. He has welcomed many guests, including Alexa Nicolas, Holly Madison, Lorelei Carlson and Lennon, and Manny MUA. Sloan allows his guests to open up about their instances of exploitation and moments of abuse at the expense of others. Reporting the truth has made Sloan the target of social media challenges; now, he is challenging his guests in person, and they no longer get to hide behind their false narratives.

On this episode of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Sloan Hooks spoke about covering the downfalls of both Ellen DeGeneres and Sean “Diddy” Combs, how he got involved with both the Free Britney Movement and the Quiet on Set documentary and revealed his dream guests for The Let’s Get into It Podcast.

It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter and guitarist Danielia Cotton to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

Danielia is a New York City-based Americana/Roots Rook artist. She grew up nurturing her natural musical gifts in rural Hopewell, New Jersey, where she was one of only a half dozen Black kids in school. In addition, she was named Lilith Fair’s Onstage Local Talent Winner, and her music has been heard in television shows and national commercials.

The New York Times praised Daniella, stating, “She’s a belter who can hold back or work her way up to a gospely blues-rock shout, and in the songs, she writes with her band’s brawny guitar riffs, she grapples with the road, salvation, holding on, and letting go.” Daniella’s music also received praise from Consequence, Entertainment Tonight, Refinery 29, and Spin.   Her fanbase covers New York, the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia, and parts of the Midwest. She recently performed shows for the 2024 Light of Day Winterfest in Asbury Park.
