After selling 5 million copies, Pokopia goes on to win Game of the Year in Japan. We talk if it's able to win anything else this year as more games arrive this Fall. More Than Half the People Who Applied for Pokémon XP Didn't Get Invited

130,000 people applied to attend Pokémon XP, but only 50,000 people got accepted. For Pokémon Worlds in Anaheim last year, Pokémon saw 30,000 people attend. We go over these numbers and viewership numbers for streaming that weekend. James Turner returns to Pokémon after leaving Game Freak to make his own game. Pikachu visits Tim Cook and this begs the question of "does this matter?" Google Health and Pokémon Sleep teams up. VIZ Media is putting out all 24 Pokémon movies on Blu-ray for $400 this year.

Game Freak Worried About Core Battle Systems Changing

Big Pokémon Champions interview talking about the first couple months of the games, paying attention to player feedback, and possibly bringing Legendary Pokémon to the game. Pokémon Worlds is this week, we talk about streaming, meet & greets, and drops for the weekend. A Pokémon TCG card gets updated rules and Pokémon Center plans to release 3 new film cameras.
Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen get Pokémon HOME compatibility this Fall. We may have learned it might not exactly be "one way" too. Pokémon HOME will update to 4.1.0 and finally increase the storage from 6,000 to 9,000. GO Safari Balls will turn into Strange Balls from GO this Fall too. With all this good news, the bad new is Pokémon Bank now has an official sunset date next year before Pokémon Day. Pokémon Sleep news and Pokémon GO news this episode too!

Six pop-up shops in Japan are to test facial scans to stop people from reselling Pokémon cards.
