The AI revolution waits for no one—and Microsoft wants its partners to know it. The urgency in Microsoft's messaging was impossible to miss. Gone are the days of gradual technology adoption curves—while personal computers took 12 years to become ubiquitous and cloud computing took five, artificial intelligence is expected to transform business completely within just two years. And as Bob pointedly observes, "one year has already gone by." This accelerated timeline has Microsoft executives sounding an alarm that partners can't afford to ignore.

A particularly striking theme emerged around becoming what Microsoft calls "frontier firms"—partner organizations that embrace AI internally before advocating it to customers. I talk to Microsoft partners all the time that find it hard to navigate their relationship with Microsoft and take full advantage of the incentives and benefits as a partner. Many feel they are "leaving money on the table" because they don't effectively manage their Microsoft relationship or know how to add value for the Microsoft field sales people.

I had a chance to do a recap of SummitNA 2023 with my friend and colleague, Bob McAdam from CAVALLO! We talked about what happened at this year's Dynamic Communities SummitNA 2023 conference held on October 15-20, 2023, in Charlotte, NC. It looks like SummitNA continues to grow with great educational and networking opportunities. There was higher attendance than the prior year and great pre-conference and evening events! Highlights this year were the “Future of GP” general session, the Expo Hall, the PowerGP Online party, and the NASCAR Hall of Fame reception! It is always great to meet in person with old friends and make new connections!
