The contradiction that is met between our desire for meaning and the knowledge of its inexistence is the absurd. And this absurd is a wall that cannot be climbed over. This is episode two of my series on Albert Camus' Nobel Prize winning essay, The Myth of Sisyphus, in which I dive into section 2 of Chapter 1, "An Absurd Reasoning", i.e. "Absurd Walls". Dryw Owens is a multi-instrumentalist musician and producer. He is both the producer and a member of Moxy the Band. Moxy the Band recently put out their debut concept album, Dream Feeling, which incorporates '80s themes along with a futuristic, synth-wave type of sound. The album mainly covers the topic of loss (a friend moving away, a loved one passing, or being in a relationship doomed to end) and one's struggle towards overcoming it.
