There are some moments when my life gently asks me to sit down, soften, feel and tell the truth. This solo episode of Season 14 marks a moment, recorded at sunset in Santa Fe, opening under the theme Dark Night to Divine Light. 

This episode is a quiet, powerful homecoming and nourishing personal reflection of why I have returned to solo episodes and why I coach. Not from theory. Not from branding. But from lived experience, grief, integration, and devotion to Truth.

In this tender and revealing episode, I explore what happens when we stop suppressing our feelings and stop performing to keep others happy. I speak about how every time we abandon a part of ourselves, that separation echoes outward into our relationships. And how, when we bring those parts home, something in us finally rests. Our nervous system softens. Our presence deepens. Our intimacy becomes real. This is what it means to meet ourselves, so we can be truly met by another. 

I share about moving into my new home in Santa Fe after seven years of living nomadically, and the grief that arose when I let go of a dream that did not unfold the way I once imagined. The grief associated with accepting life as it is, rather than how I hoped it would be, made me melancholy. And yet that acceptance became a doorway to peace, power and deeper alignment.

This episode explores why living in the "why?" keeps us stuck in our heads, spinning in analysis, while avoiding the feelings that actually want our presence. I speak about the alchemy that happens when we allow ourselves to feel fully. Pain does not just pass. It transforms. Shame becomes wisdom. Betrayal becomes clarity. Fear becomes embodied knowing. We are MORE from feeling. 

I share client stories that illustrate this truth, from individuals learning to come home to their bodies after years of over-intellectualizing, to couples transforming their relationships through radical honesty, presence, and community witnessing. From a young man whose nervous system finally found safety, to couples renewing vows not from obligation but from Soul Truth.

Throughout the episode, I return again and again to the heart of my work. Coaching is not about fixing or saving. It is about walking with someone into the places they thought were unfeelable, staying present, and bowing to their courage as they reclaim themselves. It is about integrity, ownership and humility. I cannot ask someone to do what I am unwilling to do myself.

This solo is also a meditation on the mystery and the beauty of NOT knowing. I reflect on how the question "What if?" does not have to lead to worse case scenario fear. It can lead to wonder. What if it turns out better than you ever imagined? What if love finds you? What if your presence becomes the answer to someone else's prayer? 

This episode is an invitation to live with your heart splayed wide open. To welcome your darkness and your light, to be with it all. To remember that intimacy begins within, and that when we come home to ourselves, we discover we were never separate from the Divine at all.

Simran is magical. It's as if I've waited my whole life to meet her… again? She's an author, artist, publisher, mystic, host of 11:11 talk radio,  founder of 11:11 magazine and creating content that bridges humanity and divinity sharing her transformative journey from material success to spiritual awakening triggered by repeatedly seeing the number 11:11. 

We began our recording with construction in the background- given our fancy microphones didn't pick it up, we decided to embrace the disruption as symbolic and potentially useful for their discussion. 

We discussed how to respond rather than react to life's challenges. Simran shared her personal journey of transformation that began with repeatedly seeing the number 11:11, which led her to a spiritual awakening after living an outwardly successful but inwardly empty life. She described her 10-year journey of surrendering to darkness and embracing her shadow self, during which she cried daily for months after never having cried before age 40. Simran explained her discovery of three aspects of self—identity, shadow/animal, and humanity—and how embracing her full humanity became the doorway to divinity and wholeness.

Simran vulnerably shared her experience of financial hardship during a 10-year period where, despite accumulating debt and having no income, she was always taken care of through unexpected opportunities like selling her house. She describes this as a practice of embodied faith, where she allowed herself to fully feel her emotions while simultaneously witnessing them from a place of divine masculine awareness. She explained that by deeply loving herself and trusting in something bigger than herself, she was able to navigate seemingly impossible situations, such as managing three properties while being financially strained, through creative solutions that manifested elegantly when needed.

She walks her talk, explaining that mastery is not about having a perfect life, but about maintaining emotional balance through all experiences, emphasizing that everyone is building the muscles to become masters. When I asked about helping people deal with the chaos of current world events, Simran suggested that challenges don't take us down but rather create a detour, opportunities to reframe obstacles, challenges, and even darkness as blessings in disguise that help deconstruct the layers we build in our seven-year developmental cycles, brilliantly using the example of the jackhammers installing new drains outside her home, as a metaphor for how we're collectively backed up with emotions that need release.

Simran discussed the importance of looking inward when encountering external conflicts, suggesting that what we see outside is a reflection of what's inside us. She shares her personal journey of confronting narcissism by finding and loving the corresponding parts within herself, including her "inner demon" and self-hate. Simran explained that uncomfortable feelings and experiences are created by neglected parts of ourselves seeking attention, and the value of fully feeling emotions without an agenda to heal or fix them. 

Simran and I have incredibly difficult custody battles in common. She shared her difficult journey of motherhood, including a complete separation from one child and limited contact with her 4-year-old son due to circumstances in South Carolina. After years of grief, she realized her tears were not only her own but also those of her ancestors and the collective suffering of others. She eventually sold her home and moved across from her son's high school to be near him energetically, even without regular contact, which has provided her with a sense of connection.

Simran shared her philosophy of trusting life's intelligence and embracing simplicity as the first grace we must give ourselves. She explained that freedom comes from releasing attachments and viewing life as a spiritual soul experience rather than an ego-driven one. 

Just when we thought the jackhammers were the only sign from the Universe, our conversation was then interrupted by a power shutdown! You can't make this sh&^ up! We both interpreted this as a meaningful sign to unplug, reset, and listen to one's soul rather than acting on impulse. We discussed the importance of recognizing which part of oneself is driving actions and being open to the guidance that comes through everyday disruptions like burst pipes or lost jobs.

We concluded our deep conversation, discussing how challenges like divorce can be gifts and opportunities for rebirth. On After The Show on Patreon, we had a blast dancing and pondering love. Simran defined "epiphagasms" as profound spiritual insights and describes orgasmicness as when "I disappear into you, and you disappear into me," As two single women, we discussed our perspectives on divine love versus human love. Simran expressed that she knows divine love well but questions the value of human love after experiencing an arranged marriage for 20 years, while I suggested that relationships can offer growth through liberating love beyond self-interest. We both acknowledged being in a place of feeling complete on our own but remain curious about what a relationship with someone at their level of spiritual development might offer. Talk about an old soul. Tori experienced an incalculable loss that led to a wake up call asking, What is really important to me? She let go of chasing status or a false sense of external belonging and began to face and feel her deepest emotions. This awakened bravery to step into the unknown, leave the corporate world, a marriage and her home. Basically there's nothing not to love about Amanda. I fucking love this woman. She's brave, she owns her shit, she doesn't settle, she's hysterical, she's beautiful, and she brings so much love, light, levity as well as truth, depth and vulnerability to our community.  

And she's like me, similar in that we both used psychedelic medicines to deepen our connection to spirit, have incredible insights and access sacred wisdom... however we both would attract unhealthy relationships because neither of us had fully healed our traumas or created secure attachment within. 

Thus it was a massive gift to be able to take her through the psychedelic somatic integrative model in our VIP and watch her autonomic nervous system come back to still point.  And now we get to see if third time's the charm with a certain gentleman…  Because I believe she's more ready now than ever, to receive devotion.

-How after being a helicopter pilot, trained gourmet chef... and oh! She even sewed her Costumes at our last Intimacy Retreat in Mexico...  she's wanting to give back and help people experience the freedom she's enjoying as a facilitator of psychedelic medicine journeys.

-How she normally needs to have everything make sense in her mind and do a substantial amount of research before making decisions, yet when she met me she knew instantly I was the one to walk with her home as her coach/facilitator.

Vulnerability is like peeling an onion, sharing stories of how self forgiveness awakened self-worth so that self-love flowed through my being.

I believe breakups, divorces and infidelity nightmares come down to a lack of intimacy in relationships, which of course comes down to a lack of intimacy with ourselves. We're all doing our best, yet when any of us get close to the core vein of pain, that childhood wound, that traumatic nervous system response… our survival mechanisms of blame, stonewalling or disassociation often take over. As I research about loneliness, blame and depression, so much of our human need for connection goes wonky when we put our singular focus on getting that connection from others, without balancing that out with inner connection.  Some of the research I found I completely agreed with and yet others I feel perpetuate the problem of loneliness by over focusing on secondary consciousness, our thoughts, beliefs and stories… and under focuses on our primary consciousness where the majority of our unresolved subconscious wounds lie.

I also discussed...
-  The deeper connection and trust I have with my body the more easily loneliness dissolves into communion
-  How many of my Allana Pratt Method processes allow for the healthy expression and effective integration of anger into fierce love
-  How I'd been ashamed to be lonely given I've done so much 'work', and that it's OK to be human, in fact human is what we came here to be.

Oh, how I love this woman! I love how she explained her desire for evolution and being sacredly challenged to keep discovering more of who she is and what's possible. I so appreciate her bravery to feel and to let it be OK that she navigates death in her own unique brilliant way. God, I love these two. They do the work. They take ownership. They know we'll never get there or be perfect. What a great interview with return guest Kristina with the prelaunch of her next book becoming flawsome.  We began with the myth that if I love myself unconditionally I won't become better. Yet by the end of the interview she mentioned how the Dali Lama told her you can't help anyone unless you're happy.  Happiness and success are different according to Kristina.  She had it all but wasn't happy, she then asked what's wrong with me yet shifted from judgment into more curious questions around self-love and happiness. In a society where martyrdom is glorified... having our personal goals include happiness at the top, is pretty rare.  We shared how at some point we just need to stop running not just towards More success, but stop running away from ourselves, to slow down, be brave and face our dragons.  I call that cultivating a solid intimate relationship with ourselves. Vulnerability is brave yet the key to connection.

Oh my God I love this woman! We had so much fun!
