Inspired Ink is back this week with another amazing and legendary guest... ANTHONY MARQUES President of The Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art!

We'll be diving into Anthony's history, his work in comics, and everything you want to know about the Kubert School!

When it comes to the history and art of comic books, Anthony Marques is a leader in the art form. A graduate of the iconic Joe Kubert School, he began his career working as an editor for publishers DC Comics and Dynamite Entertainment. A true student of the medium, he was able to bring new and exciting visions to life as an artist for beloved characters such as Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and more. In addition to working on numerous projects with these companies, he became an instructor at the Joe Kubert School before eventually becoming president and owner of the institution. There he works with instructors to usher in the next generation of comic book creators.

Sarah Cooke won Mad Cave’s 2023 Talent Search and the 2023 Negative Space Women’s Comic Book Writing Competition. She's the co-creator of the award-winning sci-fi web series My Human Experience. Her published works include No Spell Lasts Forever, Olive and the Ogre, Strays, and an essay in How to Analyze & Review Comics: A Handbook on Comics Criticism. As a comics reporter, she has written for Marvel, DC Comics, Women Write About Comics, CBR, Voice of Youth Advocates, WTAP Television, and more.
