| A Mother's Love | 18 Feb 2022 | 00:32:46 | |
Welcome back to another episode of In Other Words. This Episode we have the absolute privilege of speaking with author, poet and activist Lorna Farrell where we find out about her latest book 'A Mother's Love.' 'A Mother's Love' follows the remarkable true story of Bridie McGoldrick. Bridie is a woman who has endured more heartache than most- her only child was murdered in the troubles in Northern Ireland, yet she was able to forgive his killer thanks to her faith in God. Lorna reads one of her amazing poems which shares the title of her book, speaks about poems in parliament, imposter syndrome, calorie laden chunks of heaven, faith and forgiveness. You can get your copy of 'A Mother's Love' from https://www.lornafarrell.com/ If you enjoyed this episode we'd love it if you subscribed and left us a review :) Find out more about our gigs, workshops, books and poets at https://www.positivepoetry.org/ and follow us on Instagram at @_positivepoetry | |||
