| It's All True with Chezzi & Grant Denyer | 23 May 2026 | 00:38:25 | |
🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications to stay updated with new episodes. 👍🏽 Please leave a review, we appreciate all the support! What an amazing episode as we have none other than one of Australia’s most recognised, respected and loved couples; Chezzi and Grant Denyer who were some of the first people to take a chance on founder; Glenn Marsden when he approached them to be a part of these global efforts. When Grant’s images were released, the response was truly incredible. The stories, the emails, the messages of gratitude, we as a movement received from people hearing from somebody so well known in the public eye, share his struggles so openly and share his vulnerability through an image, that we don’t often see, was inspiring. It was even a bigger pivotal moment for me personally too, in seeing just how powerful the imagery and efforts were opening up conversations that were often hidden and being told it was saving lives. We discuss it all and more in this episode so brace yourself as always for an amazingly truthful, raw, unfiltered chat. Chezzi is a tv producer youtube, blogger, podcast host, mother, wife and manager to her husband, Grant who is a man of many talents from 2018 Gold Logie winner to motor-racing driver to Guinness World record holder and most importantly a husband and father. His TV career has spanned 2 decades which has made him one of Australia’s most loved radio and television presenters and has hosted nearly every big international TV format from Australia’s Got Talent, hosting the second season of Dancing with the Stars, appearing in the show himself recently and a special primetime series of the much loved Family Feud. Suzanne Shaw shot to instant fame in 2001 as part of the winning pop group ‘Hearsay’ on the very first reality show ‘Popstars’ in the UK. What followed was a whirlwind career. ‘Beauty is in the imperfection. I think the parts of me that I like the best are maybe the parts that nobody see’s which are super crazy and aren’t perfect. But they’re the parts that make me different and the parts that teach me the most. I’m actually not afraid of that side of me. I embrace it. Some of the things we are not perfect at, we have to work on them too. But they are definitely a part of who we are as much as the stuff we love to tell everybody about. The flaws are good too’ Patrick Mcginnis We are truly grateful to have some absolutely incredible advocates like Patrick getting behind the @imperfectlyperfectcampaign Global Efforts and sharing their stories to help us change the narrative around mental health especially through the corporate sectors. | 'The Light Comes Through the Cracks' with Blaine Bartlett | 11 Nov 2020 | 00:28:32
‘ImperfectlyPerfect means being human. At the end of the day it means being human. I think striving for perfection is an absolutely crazy thing to aspire to. I start from the premise that I’m perfect and know that I’m perfectly imperfect, then my perfection shows up in beautiful perfect ways. Leonard Coleman has got a song out; ‘the light comes through the crack’ The only way the light comes through anything is through the crack and I have a light inside and it shows up through my imperfections.’ @blainebartlett What a beautiful way to put it, in that like Blaine; we all have light inside of us, and that it shows through those imperfections. We truly love that. | 'Defying the Enemy Within' - Joe Williams Tew | 10 Apr 2020 | 00:56:26
In 2012, Joe Williams found himself sitting in a Dubbo psychiatric unit, faced with a choice. The former NRL player and professional boxer had just attempted suicide. "Joe you're lucky to be alive," his doctor said. "You've got a second chance at life now, what are you going to do with it?" In the years prior, Williams had managed to kick his addictions to illicit drugs and alcohol. But he had fallen into a destructive pattern of prescription drug use, and was struggling with his recently-diagnosed bipolar disorder. Williams says that day in Dubbo was one step in an ongoing journey to self-knowledge and recovery, but it marked a turning point. "It was in that moment, I said to myself … 'I am so thankful to be alive, and every day I get to open my eyes, I'm going to treat that as a gift'," he said. Listen in as I sit and hear Joe's story and gain an insight into his recovery and how he has managed to overcome adversity and move forward with helping others. | ''The IceMan" - Wim Hof | 13 Nov 2023 | 00:52:27
🔔 Subscribe and turn on notifications to stay updated with new episodes. 👍🏽 Please leave a review, we appreciate all the support! 'There comes a moment that through your belief, you arrive. It’s like you leave the car, you don’t stay in the car. I’ve used my vehicle to get where I need to go. The realisation of my soul. That’s my home and it’s living in my heart, and it is in love and I spread it like a virus. Jesus Christ was 2000 years ago, he’s right here, right now. That’s what i’m saying. It’s you. God is within you. The light is within you.’ - @iceman_hof A huge honour and privilege to have Wim Hof get behind our Global Efforts in challenging the narrative around Mental Health and sharing his story. Dutch extreme athlete Wim Hof got his nickname 'The Iceman' by breaking a number of records related to cold exposure including: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle barefoot, and standing in a container while covered with ice cubes for more than 112 minutes. Using 'cold, hard nature' as his teacher, his extensive training has enabled him to learn to control his breathing, heart rate, and blood circulation and to withstand extreme temperatures. Armed with his motto 'what I am capable of, everybody can learn', Wim Hof is convinced that everyone can tap into their inner potential without having to invest the same decades worth of study, travel and daring. Wim has made it his mission to share what he’s learned with the rest of the world. And so he developed the Wim Hof Method: a combination of breathing, cold therapy and commitment that offers a range of benefits. With his Wim Hof Method, he teaches people from all over the world, from celebrities and professional athletes, to people of all ages, to control their body & mind and achieve extraordinary things. “He has not only helped advance scientific understanding, but also accomplished extraordinary feats of human endurance, including 21 Guinness World Records. We are so excited to share with you this fantastic conversation with Founder Glenn Marsden about Wim Hof breathing, mental wellness, what is going on right now in the world and our connection to nature, to soul and to God. In the world of rugby, where strength, determination, and camaraderie reign supreme, one remarkable individual, Campbell Johnstone, has emerged as a beacon of hope and inspiration for both the sport and the LGBTQ+ community. His story is a testament to resilience, authenticity, and the power of breaking barriers. Campbell Johnstone's name resonates within New Zealand rugby circles as an All Black and a Canterbury Crusaders rugby star in the early 2000s. His prowess on the field was undeniable, and he left an indelible mark on the sport. But it was in early 2023 that Campbell's name transcended the boundaries of the rugby pitch and became a symbol of courage and progress worldwide. Why? In an environment where stereotypes and traditional norms often cast a shadow, Campbell's decision to step out as his authentic self was nothing short of revolutionary. He defied conventions and chose to live his truth. In doing so, Campbell Johnstone became a source of inspiration not only for fellow athletes but for countless individuals facing the daunting challenge of embracing their own identities. He has shown the world that one's sexual orientation should never limit their dreams or ambitions, and that authenticity is a force to be reckoned with. Campbell's story is a testament to the transformative power of authenticity. It's a reminder that embracing who you are, regardless of societal expectations, can lead to greatness. His journey encourages us to break free from the constraints that may hold us back, to be bold, and to pursue our dreams with unwavering determination. His legacy extends beyond the try lines and scrums; it's a legacy of acceptance, inclusivity, and hope. In a world that sometimes lacks understanding and compassion, Campbell's story is a shining beacon that reminds us to stand tall, live authentically, and strive for excellence without fear of judgment. He is a role model, a hero, and a symbol of progress, reminding us all that we can be true to ourselves and make history in the process.
