61. Binge Eating & ADHD

mardi 15 octobre 2024Durée 25:08

Did you know there is a very strong link between ADHD and Binge Eating Disorder.

As an ADHDer myself, this is an episode I am so passionate about, and something I have wanted to record for a long time!

I’ll be talking about why these two often go hand-in-hand, exploring how the brain’s reward system, impulsivity, and emotional regulation come into play.

I chat about how the brain’s wiring makes it easy to slip into binge eating patterns and why restrictive diets, unusual schedules, and difficulty with hunger and fullness cues can make it even harder.

If you feel that your ADHD might be affecting your eating habits, this episode is filled with practical tips and tricks to take action straight away.
