| How to Measure TV ROI in Gambling TV Advertising, Sponsorship Marketing for Casinos, Sportsbooks, Bingo and Lottery Brands in 2026 | 24 Dec 2025 | 00:07:33 | |
Contact our gambling marketing agency and iGaming TV media buying agency.Watch this short overview of how we work with gambling brands, iGaming affiliates and operators: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl2o5xjo0URecommended Reading for Gambling Operators & MarketersThe A-Z of Casino Marketinghttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWYS4H52The A-Z of iGaming SEOhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWZC4BB2These resources explain the same performance, attribution, and compliance frameworks we use when advising brands on TV, sponsorship, and large-scale media spend. One of the most common frustrations we hear about TV advertising in gambling is simple:“We spent a lot of money - but we can’t prove it worked.”In this video, I explain how TV ROI in gambling marketing should actually be measured, and why many brands end up drawing the wrong conclusions when they apply performance metrics that don’t fit how TV really works. Why TV ROI Is So Often MisunderstoodTV is rarely a direct-response channel.Unlike PPC, affiliates, or paid social, TV doesn’t usually produce clean, last-click conversions you can attribute inside a dashboard. When gambling brands try to measure TV using pure CPA or last-click logic, TV often looks unprofitable - even when it’s doing exactly what it’s meant to do.That’s the first and biggest measurement mistake. What TV Really Does in Gambling MarketingTV’s real role is demand generation. It builds:• Brand awareness• Trust and perceived legitimacy• Familiarity at scaleIn gambling markets, that trust effect is critical.TV primes users — and those users then convert later through:• Branded search• PPC campaigns• SEO content• Direct traffic• App installsThis means TV ROI almost always appears indirectly, not at the point of exposure. The Metrics That Actually MatterInstead of looking for direct conversions, we look for correlation and uplift.Key indicators we monitor include:• Increases in branded search volume• Improvements in PPC conversion rates• Uplift in direct and returning traffic• Higher registration quality and engagement• Improved performance across SEO and paid channelsWhen these metrics move after TV launches, TV is doing its job - even if attribution isn’t obvious in isolation.Geo & Time-Based Testing Still WorksOne of the most reliable ways to measure TV impact is controlled testing. That includes:• Running TV in specific regions• Comparing performance against non-TV regions• Monitoring changes during and immediately after airtime• Using unique URLs and bonus codesThis approach consistently provides more reliable insight than last-click attribution models ever will. Why Attribution Models MatterTV works best when paired with modern attribution thinking. That means:• Blended CPA• Assisted conversions• Channel interaction analysisWhen TV is treated as a demand generator rather than a conversion channel, ROI becomes far clearer - and far easier to justify.Common Mistakes to Avoid with iGaming TV MarketingThe biggest TV measurement mistakes we see are:• Expecting instant ROI• Switching TV off too early• Failing to align search and PPC• Measuring TV in isolationTV doesn’t work alone - it works as part of a system. If you’re running - or considering - iGaming TV advertising in gambling and struggling to measure its impact, the issue is usually attribution, not performance. We help gambling brands connect TV activity to digital results so budgets are spent with confidence — not guesswork. If you want a second opinion on how your iGaming TV ROI is being measured, or could be measured, get in touch below.Contact My iGaming Digital Marketing Agency:https://miltonkeynesmarketing.uk/casino-marketing-agency/Website: https://www.casinomarketing.shopWhatsApp: +44 7484 866107Telegram: casinomarketingshopWe work with:• Online casinos• Sportsbooks• Bingo & lottery brands• Regulated gambling operators
| iGaming TV Advertising - When It Works and When It’s a Waste | 24 Dec 2025 | 00:07:31 | |
Need serious iGaming growth across TV, SEO, PPC, affiliates and media? Contact our iGaming TV advertising agency Watch this short overview of how we work with iGaming brands and operators: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl2o5xjo0U Recommended Reading for iGaming Operators & Marketers The A-Z of Casino Marketing https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWYS4H52 The A-Z of iGaming SEO https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWZC4BB2 These books outline the same commercial, compliance-aware frameworks we apply when advising operators on large-scale channels like TV, sponsorship, PPC, and SEO. TV advertising is often seen as the holy grail in iGaming marketing. Big budgets. Big brands. Big exposure. But the reality is this: TV can either be one of the most powerful growth channels in iGaming - or an extremely expensive mistake. In this video, I break down when iGaming TV advertising works - and when it’s simply a waste of money. Why TV Still Matters in iGaming Despite the growth of digital marketing, TV still delivers something very few channels can: credibility at scale. For online casinos, sportsbooks, bingo, and lottery brands, TV creates: • Brand familiarity • Trust and perceived legitimacy • Mass-market visibility That credibility is especially important in regulated gambling markets, where players are cautious, comparison-driven, and risk-aware. When iGaming TV Advertising Actually Works TV performs best when three things are in place .First - the brand is ready. That means compliant licensing, strong on-site UX, and proven conversion journeys across affiliates, SEO, social and paid media channels. Second - TV is part of a wider acquisition ecosystem. Search, PPC, SEO, and direct traffic capture must already be in place to convert the demand TV creates. Third - expectations are realistic. TV rarely delivers instant ROI. It builds brand demand that converts through other channels. When these conditions are met, TV can significantly amplify overall acquisition performance across digital. When TV Becomes a Waste of Budget TV becomes a waste when it’s treated as a shortcut. Launching TV without search coverage. Running ads without compliant landing journeys. Expecting TV to replace performance marketing. We regularly see brands spend heavily on TV - then blame the channel - when the real issue is poor integration with digital.TV creates interest. Digital converts it. Creative & Compliance Reality Another overlooked challenge is creative and compliance. TV gambling ads are tightly regulated - from messaging and disclaimers to scheduling and targeting. If TV creative isn’t aligned with platform rules, brand positioning, and on-site messaging, performance drops quickly. TV is not the place for vague propositions or generic offers. The Smart Way to Use TV in iGaming The most effective iGaming TV strategies treat TV as a demand generator, not a conversion channel. Used correctly, TV: • Improves brand recall• Lifts PPC and SEO performance • Increases direct traffic quality But only when planned alongside digital, not separately from it. If you’re considering TV advertising in iGaming - or you’ve tried it and felt disappointed - the issue usually isn’t TV itself. It’s timing, integration, and strategy. We help iGaming brands decide when TV makes sense - and how to make it work alongside PPC and SEO. If you want a second opinion before committing serious budget, get in touch below. | Google Ads for iGaming - Why Google Gambling PPC Accounts Get Suspended | 20 Dec 2025 | 00:04:52
Google Ads for iGaming in 2025: Why Accounts Get Suspended Contact our iGaming Google Ads PPC Agency. Watch this iGaming marketing agency overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl2o5xjo0U Recommended readingfor iGaming operators & marketers: The A-Z of CasinoMarketing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWYS4H52 The A-Z of iGamingSEO: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWZC4BB2 If you’re running Google Ads for iGaming in 2025 and your account suddenly gets suspended, you’re not unlucky. You’ve hit one of Google’s automated policy and risk tripwires - and most agencies still don’t understand what those actually are. In this video, I explain why iGaming Google Ads accounts get suspended, what’s changed in 2025, and why many otherwise “compliant-looking” campaigns still fail. Google Ads is powerful - but fragile Google Ads remains one of the biggest acquisition channels in iGaming. But it’s also the most fragile. Suspensions today are rarely manual decisions. They’re automated risk assessments based on: Policy interpretation Trust signals Advertiser history Billing behaviour Destination risk This is why accounts can look fine one day — and be gone the next. The REAL reasons iGaming accounts get suspended in 2025 Most suspensions now come down to five core issues. 1. Licensing &Jurisdiction Mismatch Google doesn’tjust check if you have a licence - it checks whether: The licence matchesthe user location The advertiserentity is correct The landingexperience aligns with both 2. Destination &Content Risk Your ads might becompliant - but your site might not be. One weak landingpage, redirect, footer link, or content section can poison the entireaccount. 3. Policy-SensitiveLanguage Certain phrasesautomatically trigger reviews, especially around: Winnings Payouts Bonuses Urgency orguarantees What worked in 2022will often get flagged in 2025. 4. Account Trust &Payment Signals Billing issues, mismatched company details, reused assets, sudden spend changes, orpayment failures all increase suspension risk - even if adsthemselves look fine. 5. Agency Mistakes This is the biggestcause. Many agencies reusegambling setups, copy structures from other verticals, or applyoutdated tactics - and that’s how accounts get burned. What doesn’t workanymore Shortcuts don’twork. Temporary fixes, cloned accounts, or pushing policy boundaries may work briefly - butthey always end the same way: suspension. How real iGamingGoogle Ads management works now In 2025, realiGaming Google Ads management is about: Risk managementfirst Performance second Long-term accounthealth over short-term approvals Structure, compliance, trust signals, and consistency matter far more thanclever tricks. Final takeaway If your Google Adsaccounts keep getting suspended, the issue usually isn’t Google -it’s the setup. And if you’rechoosing an agency, make sure they’re building for longevity, notjust short-term approvals. I’ve linked tomore videos and a couple of books I’ve written on iGaming marketingabove, which you may find useful. | How To Choose A Casino Marketing Agency Without Wasting Money | 20 Dec 2025 | 00:06:14
How To Choose A Casino Marketing Agency Without Wasting Money Contact our casino marketing agency here: https://miltonkeynesmarketing.uk/casino-marketing-agency/ Watch this short overview –https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl2o5xjo0U Recommended reading for iGaming operators & marketers: The A-Z of Casino Marketing:https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWYS4H52 The A-Z of iGaming SEO:https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWZC4BB2 If you’re running an online casino, sportsbook, or gambling affiliate site, choosing the wrong marketing agency can cost you tens of thousands of pounds - and months (or years) of lost growth. In this video, I explain how to choose a casino marketing agency properly, the most common mistakes operators make, the red flags to watch for, and how to avoid burning budget on agencies that don’t actually understand iGaming. The biggest mistake operators make The biggest mistake I see is hiring a generic digital marketing agency and assuming iGaming is “just like any other niche”. It isn’t.Casino marketing involves: Gambling compliance and advertising restrictions Platform-specific rules (Google Ads, Meta, programmatic)GEO-specific licensing requirements Player KYC, age gating, and responsible gambling obligations If your agency doesn’t work inside iGaming every day, you’re already exposed to unnecessary risk. The first question you must ask Before anything else, ask:“ Who are your current or recent iGaming clients?” Not hypotheticals. Not “similar industries”. Actual casino, sportsbook, or gambling affiliate work. A legitimate iGaming agency should be able to clearly explain: Which markets they operate in Which platforms they manage How they handle compliance and risk If they can’t - that’s a red flag. Beware of vanity metrics Many agencies sell: Traffic volumes Impressions Clicks Rankings for low-value keywords None of these matter on their own. What matters in iGaming is: Depositing players Cost per acquisition by GEO Player value over time Retention and lifetime value If an agency can’t talk confidently about commercial outcomes, they’re not built for this industry. Platform experience really matters A serious casino marketing agency should be fluent in: iGaming SEO (not generic SEO) Google Ads gambling policies Affiliate funnel optimisation GEO-specific compliance strategy If an agency says “we’ll figure it out as we go” - you are the test budget. In iGaming, mistakes don’t just waste money. They get accounts banned and domains flagged. How we approach it differently At The Casino Marketing Shop, we work exclusively in iGaming. That means: Compliance-first strategy SEO and PPC built around licensed markets Real operator and affiliate experience No generic templates or copy-paste playbooks We don’t promise miracles. We build sustainable, scalable growth designed to last - not strategies that collapse six months later. Final thoughts If you’re considering hiring a casino marketing agency - or you’re already working with one and not seeing results - feel free to reach out for a second opinion. I’m happy to review what you’ve been sold and tell you honestly whether it makes sense. I’ve also linked to more videos and a couple of casino marketing books I’ve written above, which you may find useful. So if your site still relies on long-form layouts, small CTAs, and non-responsive tables — you're leaking conversions.🧠 Affiliate Action Plan: Mobile Optimization 101Start with the basics — but think beyond just responsive design.✅ Speed: Optimize loading for 3G/4G, compress images, use CDNs✅ CTAs: Use big, tap-friendly buttons and sticky prompts✅ Content: Keep reviews skimmable, concise, and scroll-friendly✅ Structure: Use vertical formatting, mobile-focused UX, and fewer distractions💡 Pro Tip: Test your affiliate pages on multiple devices and use heatmaps to analyze scroll behavior and click points. Mobile A/B testing is now essential.💸 Why Betting Apps Are a Goldmine for AffiliatesWhat most affiliates miss: operators often pay more for app installs than for web sign-ups.🟢 App Benefits for Affiliates: • Higher retention and LTV • More frequent deposits via push alerts • Easier remarketing and loyalty funnels📈 Smart Campaign Idea: Create pages dedicated to highlighting app features, like: • Instant cashout • Live match betting • Biometric login • Personalized odds boosts✅ Use deep links, promo codes, or app-specific CTAs to track installs and increase your value to operators.🔔 Push Notifications: Affiliate Retargeting’s Secret WeaponIf you’re driving app installs, leverage push notifications to engage users at just the right time.📲 Push use cases: • Pre-match betting odds • Last-minute bonuses or free bets • New slot game launches • Deposit reminders🧲 These micro nudges keep users active, help reduce churn, and increase bet frequency — and they can be integrated into your CRM strategy or promoted via operators’ app tools.📊 How to Future-Proof Your Mobile StrategyTo stay competitive in the mobile-first world of 2025, adopt these best practices:🔍 Audit your site’s mobile usability regularly using tools like Google Lighthouse🌎 Localize content for high-growth mobile markets like India, Nigeria, LATAM🎥 Embrace video and short-form content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels📲 Test interactive content like tap-to-reveal bonuses, vertical sliders, or app walkthroughs💬 Mobile-first isn’t just about devices — it’s about mindset. | eSports and Virtual Sports Betting Affiliate Marketing - New Niche Gambling Markets in 2025 | 14 Apr 2025 | 00:06:04
🎮 eSports & Virtual Sports Betting: The New iGaming Frontier for Affiliates in 2025 Welcome back to The iGaming Channel In this episode, we’re stepping into two of the fastest-growing verticals in iGaming: eSports Betting and Virtual Sports Betting. As traditional sports plateau in some regions and new user demographics emerge, eSports and Virtual Sports present a massive affiliate opportunity—especially for those who act now. This guide breaks down: • What these verticals are • How to create affiliate content that resonates • Which offers to promote • And how to future-proof your funnels for Gen Z and 24/7 bettors Chapters 🕹️ [0:20] What Is eSports Betting? eSports betting involves wagering on competitive video games like League of Legends, CS:GO, Dota 2, and Valorant. With tournaments offering multimillion-dollar prize pools and viewership rivaling the NBA and EPL, eSports is mainstream — not niche. 🔍 Affiliate Insight: You're not speaking to the traditional bettor here. The average eSports punter is younger, lives on Twitch, Discord, and Reddit, and values authenticity and community. To succeed: • Speak their language • Provide real value • Show up where they spend their time 📈 [1:30] eSports Affiliate Content Strategy To win over this crowd, ditch outdated content styles. Instead, focus on: • 🎮 Game-specific betting guides like "How to Bet on LoL Worlds" • 📅 Tournament previews with odds comparisons • 🎥 Streamer collaborations or affiliate mentions during broadcasts 🔥 Pro Tip: eSports fans are visual. Prioritize YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and meme-driven engagement. Skip the long-form SEO fluff and lead with dynamic, bite-sized content. ⚽ [2:30] What Are Virtual Sports? Virtual Sports are 3D-simulated betting events — like football matches, horse races, or tennis — that run 24/7 with fixed odds and RNG-powered outcomes.✅ Benefits for Affiliates: • No seasonal drop-off — great for year-round, late-night, or global traffic • Fast betting cycles keep players engaged • Perfect for programmatic campaigns and automated funnels Think of virtual sports as the perfect companion to your traditional sportsbook or casino traffic.💸 [3:30] Monetizing eSports & Virtual Sports Operators are leaning into these verticals—and their affiliate programs are following suit. 🎯 Ways to monetize: • ✅ Promote exclusive eSports bonuses, like odds boosts for LoL or CS:GO • ✅ Push enhanced commissions for virtual racing or football • ✅ Run seasonal cross-promotions tied to eSports events like The International, BLAST, or LoL Worlds 📊 Affiliate Strategy: Segment your audiences. Send eSports fans to streamer-led promos or tournament previews. Send casual casino players to virtual racing with autoplay features. The more tailored your offer, the better your conversion and retention.🚀 [4:30] Future-Proofing Your Affiliate Business Smart affiliates in 2025 aren’t just playing catch-up — they’re building niche authority in emerging verticals like eSports and Virtual Sports before they get crowded. 🎯 Key steps: • Start building game-specific content hubs • Create lead magnets around tournament calendars or bonus alerts • Partner with Twitch streamers or betting Discords to reach engaged users • Focus on long-tail keywords like "Best site to bet on Dota 2 2025" or "Virtual horse racing strategies" The earlier you plant your flag, the more likely you are to rank, convert, and dominate in these fast-growing segments.📢 Final Thoughts The iGaming landscape is evolving—and these two verticals represent some of the biggest growth opportunities for affiliates in 2025 and beyond. | 🎯 The US Sports Betting Boom 2025 | Affiliate Marketing Opportunities & State-by-State Strategy | 13 Apr 2025 | 00:07:36
Welcome to The iGaming Channel — your trusted source for professional insights into building smarter, compliant, and high-performing gambling affiliate businesses. In this episode, we’re diving into one of the biggest stories in global iGaming: the explosive growth of legal sports betting in the United States. This series is produced by our sports betting marketing agency as part of our Best iGaming Affiliate Programs series from our casino marketing and sportsbook marketing agency. From just a handful of legal states in 2018 to 38+ states by 2025, the U.S. is rapidly becoming the world’s most dynamic—and regulated—sports betting market. If you're an affiliate marketer, content creator, or media brand, this is your chance to understand where the real opportunities lie—and how to grab them.📍 Where the U.S. Stands Today in Sports Betting In 2025, over 75% of the U.S. population lives in a state with legalized sports betting. Notable markets include: • New York – Massive handle, strong brand presence, high CPA offers • New Jersey – Mature market, great for experienced affiliates • Ohio & Massachusetts – Fresh demand, high engagement • California & Texas – Still pending, but huge potential when regulated 📌 Tip: Stay updated on state-by-state legislation. Being early gives you a major edge when new markets open.📈 Why the U.S. Boom Is Big for Affiliates Projected to exceed $40 billion by 2026, the U.S. sports betting economy is fueling: • 💰 Premium CPA/hybrid deals — up to $250+ per FTD • 📱 High mobile usage rates and app-based betting culture • 🔐 Increased regulation = advantage for licensed, transparent affiliates ✅ Use content formats that resonate: odds comparisons, parlay builders, bonus reviews, and state-specific guides.🏟️ Align Content With Major U.S. Sports CalendarsIf you want to win in the U.S., speak the language of the fans. Focus on: • NFL – The biggest driver of betting volume, especially around playoffs • NBA – Daily traffic, DFS tie-ins, star appeal • MLB – Long season = SEO and evergreen content potential • College Football & NHL – Regional loyalty = high conversion rates📌 Tip: Build content around game days, betting previews, and trending player props. 🌎 Localize with a State-by-State Affiliate Strategy Unlike most iGaming markets, the U.S. is fragmented by state. That means: • Create dedicated landing pages (e.g. /ny/, /pa/, /mi/) • Use geotargeting to show only licensed operators per state • Offer localized bonus codes, payment methods, and content angles • Track each state’s marketing compliance requirements 📌 “One-size-fits-all” content will not convert. Customization = better rankings, trust, and clickthroughs.🤝 Partner With Top U.S. Sportsbook Affiliate ProgramsOperators are actively recruiting quality affiliates.✅ Negotiate for exclusive promo codes, hybrid deals, and geo-specific landing pages that boost conversions.🧠 Compliance Is the Cornerstone of Long-Term Success With increased regulation comes increased scrutiny. Make sure your U.S. content includes: • ✅ Age disclaimers (18+ or 21+ where applicable) • ✅ Responsible Gambling messaging (e.g. 1-800-GAMBLER) • ✅ Clear bonus terms & eligibility • ✅ Zero tolerance for unlicensed operators📌 Non-compliance isn’t just risky—it’s business-ending. Stay compliant, stay visible.📊 Action Checklist to Win in the U.S. MarketTo succeed in 2025 and beyond: ✅ Build U.S. sports-specific content✅ Create state-based landing pages & offers✅ Partner only with licensed U.S. sportsbooks✅ Prioritize mobile UX and video SEO✅ Stay current with U.S. regulatory news
| 🎯 Gambling Affiliates – Targeting Different International Markets | UK, US, Canada, Australia, Scandinavia from our iGaming marketing agency The Casino Marketing Shop | 13 Apr 2025 | 00:12:40 | |
Welcome back to The iGaming Channel — the home of trusted strategies for building a compliant, profitable, and scalable gambling affiliate business. In this episode, we explore one of the most important—and often overlooked—aspects of growing a successful iGaming brand: targeting international markets the right way. This program was produced by our iGaming marketing agency with our popular Best iGaming AffiliateProgams series available now. If you're running a global gambling affiliate site or thinking about expanding into new GEOs like the UK, US, Canada, Australia, or Scandinavia, this video is your roadmap to smart localization, regional compliance, and audience-specific growth tactics. 🌍 Why Localization Is More Than Translation Real market localization means: • Understanding local regulations (UKGC, state laws, provincial licenses) • Adapting to preferred payment methods and currency • Referencing local sporting events, gaming culture, and terms • Offering native UX, such as local time zones and bonus structures • Delivering content that feels like it was made just for them ✅ Use either a local domain strategy (.co.uk, .ca) or a well-organized international structure (/uk/, /us/, etc.). 🇬🇧 The UK – Mature, Regulated, Competitive • Regulated by the UKGC — strict on ad language, bonus transparency, and responsible gambling. • Keywords like “risk-free” or “guaranteed win” can trigger penalties. • SEO is competitive, but niches like low-volatility slots or regional football betting offer opportunity. ✅ Tip: Include 18+ messaging, GambleAware logos, and full T&Cs on all affiliate CTAs. 🇺🇸 The US – State-by-State & High-Potential • The fastest-growing iGaming market, but regulation varies by state (e.g., NJ, PA, MI, NY). • Requires operator partnerships with licensed brands in each state. • Use terms like “legal sportsbook in New Jersey” or “real-money casino Michigan” to rank regionally. ✅ Tip: Focus on content that compares licensed options by state and use geo-targeted CTAs where allowed. 🇨🇦 Canada - Fragmented but Lucrative • Ontario now operates its own iGaming licensing framework (AGCO). • Other provinces still rely on grey-market brands but have massive traffic potential. • Canadian users expect local banking options and CAD pricing. ✅ Tip: Separate content by province when needed, and ensure compliance with Ontario-specific rules if promoting in that region. 🇦🇺 Australia –Passionate Bettors, Strict Ad Rules • Aussies love betting on sports and horse racing, but casino promotion is heavily restricted. • Social responsibility and responsible gambling are a must. Bonuses are tightly regulated. ✅ Tip: Focus content around betting tips, event coverage, and comparison tools rather than direct offers. Scandinavia – High Lifetime Value, High Compliance • Countries like Sweden, Norway, and Finland have strict gambling frameworks. • Users are high value, but promotion must be precise and fully compliant. • Grey-market operators are common—but come with risk. ✅ Tip: Work with localized writers or translators to navigate regulatory nuance and ensure content fits cultural tone. 📈 Local Domains vs. International Sites: What's Best? • Local domains can help with SEO, trust, and conversion—but require more maintenance. •International domains with geo-segmented subfolders are easier to manage at scale. Whichever route you choose, make sure: • Geo pages are optimized for local keywords • Language, banking, support, and offers match user expectations • Tracking is separated by region for performance analysis 📚 Next Videos to Watch: • Scaling Your iGaming Affiliate Marketing Business • How to Choose the Right Gambling Affiliate Program • Gambling Affiliate Content Strategies • iGaming vs. Other Affiliate Niches • Landing Page Optimization for Better Conversions

| Sportsbook PPC Agency Explained - Why Most New Sportsbook PPC Campaigns Fail | 20 Dec 2025 | 00:11:56 | |
Sportsbook PPC Agency Explained: Why Most New Campaigns Lose Money Contact our sportsbook marketing agency. Watch this short overview –https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBl2o5xjo0U Recommended reading for iGaming operators & marketers: The A-Z of Casino Marketing: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWYS4H52 The A-Z of iGaming SEO: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FWZC4BB2 If you’ve ever launched a sportsbook PPC campaign and watched budget disappear with very little return, you’re not alone. Most new sportsbook PPC campaigns lose money - not because PPC doesn’t work, but because it’s usually handled by agencies that don’t understand how sportsbook acquisition actually works. In this video, I explain why sportsbook PPC campaigns fail, the most common mistakes agencies make, and what a proper sportsbook PPC setup should look like in regulated markets. PPC isn’t the problem - the setup is PPC itself isn’t broken for sportsbooks. What’s broken is how campaigns are commonly structured. Too many agencies treat sportsbook PPC like: E-commerce Generic lead generation Or standard finance advertising But sportsbooks are a completely different environment. You’re dealing with: Gambling ad policies GEO and licensing restrictions Player intent cycles Odds-driven behaviour Highly competitive keywordsGet any of this wrong, and you’re burning money from day one. Mistake #1: Starting too broad One of the biggest reasons sportsbook campaigns lose money early is starting too broad. Agencies often go straight for: Generic betting keywords Big match terms High-volume event traffic That traffic is expensive, unfocused, and often converts poorly. Effective sportsbook PPC starts narrow: High-intent search terms Specific markets or bet types Clear intent tied to deposit behaviour If you don’t control intent early, your CPA will spiral. Mistake #2: Ignoring the funnel Another major issue is optimising for clicks instead of players. Clicks don’t matter. Traffic doesn’t matter. What matters is: Registrations First deposits Cost per funded account Player value by GEO If your PPC agency can’t clearly explain: How traffic becomes players Where drop-off occurs How optimisation continues after the click They’re guessing — not managing performance. Mistake #3: Compliance and account risk This is where many operators get burned. Poor sportsbook PPC setups often lead to: Disapproved ads Suspended accounts Flagged domains Or permanent Google Ads bans A proper sportsbook PPC agency builds campaigns around compliance, not shortcuts. If an agency talks about “getting around” policies rather than working within them, that’s not clever - it’s dangerous. What a good sportsbook PPC agency actually does A serious sportsbook PPC agency focuses on: Controlled testing phases Intent-led keyword structures GEO-specific compliance Landing pages built for conversion, not traffic Continuous optimisation based on player behaviour It’s slower at the start - but far more profitable long-term. Final thoughts At The Casino Marketing Shop, sportsbook PPC is built to protect both your account and your budget. We don’t promise overnight wins. We build campaigns that scale safely, predictably, and profitably. If you’re about to launch a sportsbook PPC campaign - or you’re already running one that’s losing money - feel free to get in touch for a second opinion. | Gambling Affiliate Programs Explained - iGaming Affiliate Program Terms, Advice, Strategy, Tips | 08 Apr 2025 | 00:14:54
🎯 Gambling Affiliate Programs Explained | Rev Share vs CPA vs Hybrid Deals Welcome to The iGaming Channel — your trusted source for real-world, experience-driven content in the fast-moving world of gambling affiliate marketing. Here is our recommended list of The Best Gambling Affiliate Programs to promote from our casino marketing agency In this video, we’re breaking down one of the most important things any affiliate needs to understand before promoting online casinos, sportsbooks, or poker brands: 👉 How gambling affiliate commission models actually work. You’ve probably heard the terms Rev Share, CPA, and Hybrid Deals — but what do they mean in practice? And more importantly, which one is right for your business model, traffic sources, and long-term goals? This video will giveyou everything you need to know to make an informed, profitable choice — so you don’t leave money on the table or sign up for deals that don’t suit your strategy. 🧠 What You’ll Learn in This Video: What Rev Share, CPA, and Hybrid affiliate models actually mean The pros and cons of each deal type — based on real-world affiliate experience How each model fits different business styles: blogs, YouTube, paid ads, influencers, and more. What negative carryover is (and why it matters) How to avoid signing deals with shady fine print or unrealistic player requirements The exact questions to ask before choosing a gambling affiliate program Tips on how to balance short-term income with long-term passive growth Whether you're brand new or looking to optimize your existing deals, this video is your no-fluff, straight-talking guide to commission structures in the iGaming industry. 💼 Commission Models Explained: 🔹 Rev Share (Revenue Share) Earn a percentage(typically 20%–40%) of your players’ net losses over time. ✅ Great for SEO-driven content and long-term passive income. ⚠️ Be cautious of programs with negative carryover — they can wipe out your month. 🔹 CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) Get a fixed fee (like $100–$250) every time a player signs up and deposits. ✅ Ideal for paid traffic, influencer marketing, or quick cash flow. ⚠️ Often comes with strict qualification rules and referral caps. 🔹 Hybrid Deals The best of both worlds? Maybe. You get a smaller CPA + reduced rev share. ✅ A balancedapproach when testing new traffic sources. ⚠️ Can result in lower total earnings if you’re not careful. 📌 Which One Should You Choose? Running a content site or YouTube channel? → Go with Rev Share Running paid ads or high-volume social media? → CPA might be better Testing mixed traffic or just starting out? → Try Hybrid or CPA Already got conversion data and stable traffic? → Scale with Rev Share Every affiliate business is different — the goal is to align your monetization with your traffic intent, consistency, and audience behavior. 🧩 Pro Tips BeforeYou Sign a Deal: Before joining any affiliate program, ask these questions: ✅ Does the revshare model include negative carryover? ✅ Are CPA payoutslocked behind strict terms or thresholds? ✅ Is the brandlicensed in your target region (UKGC, MGA, etc.)? ✅ What do otheraffiliates say on GPWA, Affiliate Guard Dog, or Reddit? ✅ Do they providereal-time tracking, creative assets, and affiliate support? 💬 Let’sDiscuss: Are you currently using Rev Share, CPA, or Hybrid? Hence we are positioning Elite Affiliates as NOT RECOMMENDED in our iGaming affiliate program review series. Here are our Top 100 iGaming Affiliate Programs, with our personal recommendations of the best gambling affiliate programs to promote from our casino marketing agency Any affiliates who signup through our sub-affiliate links are very welcome to contact us - and we can give you some free consultancy, using our 20+ years experience in iGaming SEO, PPC, Creative Design, Social Media and TV Advertising. The reason is because we were informed by their Affiliate Manager that we cannot have trackable links with the traffic we wanted to send them. Instead of trackable links - instead we have to send them the email addresses of those that signup for the Bet Elite Affiliates program. Our company owner and producer Christian Strutt has never been given an "untrackable" link in his 20+ years of iGaming marketing - as an iGaming media agency owner, iGaming affiliate and former white-label casino and affiliate program owner. When we questioned this method of tracking we were informed that we "can't speak in a professional manner" about this, which in our professional opinion is frankly ridiculous. We were also informed that if we did provide them with the email address of our sign-ups, they could tag them onto our account. In our professional opinion if an affiliate program has a Tagging facility, it more than likely has an Untagging function don't you think? If an iGaming affiliate program has Tagging/Untagging functionality - why do you think that is? Of course that function enables them to Tag signups to affiliates. But what if you send some whales - do you think that Tag (or Untag) function might come into play and they implement an Untag feature to avoid paying you commission? My professional opinion, Christian Strutt, owner of this channel and The Casino Marketing Shop is to steer well clear of any affiliate programs that can Tag (or potentially Untag) accounts to you. That function is not there by chance, it's engineered purposely, and the company owners have chosen an affiliate program software with that feature. I do my best to avoid iGaming affiliate programs that use software with Tag/Untag facilities. I believe the main reason for having this function, is for company owners to Detag whales - even if the Affiliate Managers, or Affiliates don't know it - that's the main purpose of a Tag/Untag function in my opinion. In the case of our conversation is was in regards to affiliates and sub-affiliates, so perhaps they don't have the same Tag/Untag facilities for players, however I don't know - hence my decision to place Elite Affiliates in the NOT RECOMMENDED position as part of my quest to find and present the best gambling affiliate programs to you. | Skybet Affiliates Review - NO PROGRAM? + NOT RECOMMENDED - Skybet Affiliate Review + SkyVegas Review - from Christian Strutt @ The Casino Marketing Shop iGaming marketing agency | 07 Apr 2025 | 00:02:32
We looked to review the Skybet Affiliate / SkyVegas Affiliate Program as part of our Top 100 iGaming Affiliate Program series. However Skybet Affiliates closed down their affiliate program, back in 2017, much to the dismay of 100's of affiliates promoting them on a revenue share basis. This includes myself, as I had been building up my affiliate revenue with them month-on-month for years. If you are looking for some strong alternatives to the Skybet Affiliates Program look no further than our Top 100 iGaming Affiliate Programs here - also available online from our iGaming media agency I do not believe that Skybet Affiliates have an affiliate program now, although you can see them advertising with some big UK affiliates now - so perhaps they have a private affiliate program, maybe they do not have an affiliate program at all anymore. What I do know is that if the Skybet Affiliates Program ever comes back online and publicly available - I certainly won't recommend, endorse or promote Skybet Affiliates myself, ever again - and I'm sure there are 100s of iGaming affiliates out there that feel the same as I do. Just look online at the major forums in iGaming and see all of the negative reports and reviews from other iGaming affiliates - not just myself. This was perhaps the biggest closing of an affiliate program in the history of iGaming, from a brand that continues to operate. As advised if you are looking for some quality iGaming sportsbook affiliate programs and casino affiliate programs - like Skybet used to be, before they closed in 2017 - look no further than our Top 100 iGaming Affiliate Programs here in video format - or online here - https://casinomarketing.shop/top-100-igaming-affiliate-programs/ This video was produced by the leading iGaming marketing agency The Casino Marketing Shop, producer Christian Strutt, available here on LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/casino-marketing-agency/
| Kindred Affiliates Review - NOT Recommended - from Christian Strutt @ The Casino Marketing Shop | 07 Apr 2025 | 00:01:27 | |
For our Kindred Affiliates Review we looked at potentially including them within our Top 100 iGaming Affiliates Program review. However given a little research, we were unsurprised to find lots of negative reviews from Kindred Affiliates on a regular basis. We found lots of regular negative reviews, from those claiming to be Kindred Affilates, dating back many years.I myself was an affiliate of theirs many years ago, when they were known as Unibet Affiliates. My personal experience was terrible - and I would not advise my worst enemy to promote the Kindred Affiliates program. If you doubt my word I encourage you to do some thorough research, and like myself, I am sure you will find lots of negative Kindred Affiliates reviews, going back many years, on many of the major forums and communities where iGaming affiliates frequent. If you are looking for some better alternatives to the Kindred Affiliates program we are putting together our personal recommendation of The Top 100 iGaming Affiliate Programs here on our iGaming marketing agency website. Here you will find lots of alternatives to the Kindred Affiliates program. These iGaming Affiliate programs are recommended as better alternatives to promoting the Kindred Affiliates program - based on my personal experience of promoting their affiliate program and sending them lots of players. My personal opinion NOT to recommend the Kindred Affiliates program is also based on reading the opinions of other iGaming affiliates that have claimed to work with Kindred Affiliates, going back many years. With such regular negative reports on Kindred Affiliates - and based on our own personal experience - we strongly recommend NOT to promote this iGaming affiliate program. Here again is our own list of the Top 100 iGaming Affiliate programs as recommended by our iGaming marketing agency www.casinomarketing.shop and our company owner and channel producer Christian Strutt who can be contacted on LinkedIn here - https://www.linkedin.com/company/casino-marketing-agency/
