A mom knows her baby, and after five weeks she was able to get his lip and tongue tie treated with a laser (by a dentist). Three days later her father-in-law, with untreated sleep apnea and tongue-tie, had a heart attack. He was in a medically induced coma for six days. Dr. Turner realized that dentists are not just "teeth doctors," but really have incredible insight into how healthy someone is (or has the potential to be!).
