February – Better Late Than Never (…Or Maybe Not)20 Feb 202600:36:28

We’re back. Time is a social construct anyway.

February arrived whether we were ready or not. The rain has briefly stopped, the soil is pretending to cooperate, and we’re calling that hope.

This month’s veg is celeriac, a root vegetable with the energy of something that’s survived a long winter underground and isn’t thrilled about being unearthed. Ashley grows it. Alan cooks it. We drink coffee and discuss our life choices.

There’s cautious optimism. There’s seasonal delusion. There’s at least one moment that absolutely should have worked …but didn’t.

One grows it. One cooks it.

It rarely improves.

Ep3 January - the deco’s are down and we’re starting again!12 Jan 202600:31:19

The decorations are down and the new year is here — so we’re starting again.

In this January episode of I Grow, He Cooks, we chat drinks, food, fresh starts, and January reality. We introduce Veg of the Month: Parsnips, cook up a simple sautéed dish, answer listener questions, and share a failure that definitely shouldn’t have happened.

It’s relaxed, seasonal, and full of laughs — with no pressure to be a brand-new person.

One of us grows it.

The other cooks it.

December , we have made it to Christmas! 31 Dec 202500:33:40

December on the estate is a mix of good intentions, cold hands, full ovens, and getting everything just about done in time.

We chat seasonal veg, what’s been happening in the garden and kitchen, what’s worked, what definitely hasn’t, and how we both survived the run-up to Christmas.
