Wow, it has been awhile and wow once again Melissa brings Bryan a 4AD band…what…do…you…know. I tell you what, Bryan does not know this excellent but somewhat obscure band called Swallow. So Melissa brings their album Blow highlighting some of their most solid tracks bringing Bryan into the know and he is happy she did!

This week Melissa brings us a real bummer of a band...Idaho, specifically their 1996 classic album "Three Sheets to The Wind". Melissa loves the pure slow and mellow tones of Idaho's songs. There are lots of hearts on this one and Bryan brings back the stone-cold-classic label for the song "Shame"! This is a great album that we love and we think you will too. We are deeply saddened with the passing of Sinead O'Connor. To remember her we are re-releasing the episode we put out in February 2021 when Melissa professed her true love for Sinead and talked about some of the lesser known, but certainly not lesser sounding songs. Melissa focused on her work as a musician and her substantial influence on somebody...who is the main host of this podcast...and don't fear we also got into some great songs that you will be familiar with. This week, Peter gosh darn Gabriel! Maybe not the most obscure artist but definitely had a huge impact on so many with his unique solo beginnings. Melissa brings us his first 4 albums, confusingly all titled "Peter Gabriel" but don't worry Melissa helps Bryan understand the unique differences between each album. Culminating into his sound track work and current albums. This is a biggie! There are biggie hearts! As always, most certainly 1000%, listen to the mix. These songs and albums deserve a full listen!

Long time no listen? Well...we're back and it's number 60!! This week Melissa brings us the band Cranes. The brother sister duo from Portsmouth, England. At times they are dark and at times they are bright but at all times they are brining the noise. This is one of Melissa's favorites from the early 90's and she brings us a nice sampeling of Cranes music that spans their varied sound. As always please check out the mix linked here.
