In this episode, my guest is Jason Jenkins and we talk about some of the sequels to our favorite horror franchises that had a great sequel or remake idea in the works but for some reason never made it out of the production board room. His book, Phantom Limbs (based on the Bloody Disgusting column he wrote during the pandemic) is a great source for the horror geek in all of us as well as your basic film history buff. Check it out on its April 2, 2024 release date.

Originally a column on popular horror website Bloody Disgusting, Phantom Limbs is the inaugural volume of a planned series of books which will explore the histories of unmade horror movie sequels and remakes and the stories they would have told.

Returning to the dungeon is Renee S DeCamillis talking about her new book that comes out on Sept 10, 2025 (that corresponds with World Suicide Prevention Day), Try Not to Die: By Your Own Hand, a "chose your own adventure" book that deals with suicide, suicide idealation, self harm, and depression. This book is not for everybody, but it is a subject that needs to be talked about. Renee & I discuss the sensitive subject matter and how it has affected our lives and how we have come from that dark headspace. This book is a charity project and all proceeds go to Maine's Mobile Cris Line run through The Opportunity Alliance to support suicide prevention.
