Psalm 148 ESV
Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his hosts!
Praise him, sun and moon, praise him, all you shining stars! Praise him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens!
Let them praise the name of the Lord! For he commanded and they were created. And he established them forever and ever; he gave a decree, and it shall not pass away.[a]
Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word!
Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars! Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and flying birds!
Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! Young men and maidens together, old men and children!
Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven. He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all his saints, for the people of Israel who are near to him. Praise the Lord!

Jeremiah 11:18-23 Andrea Hammond sings "You Take It All"
vendredi 11 juillet 2025 • Durée 18:22
The Lord made it known to me and I knew; then you showed me their deeds. But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter. I did not know it was against me they devised schemes, saying, “Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.” But, O Lord of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance upon them, for to you have I committed my cause.
Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, and say, “Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, or you will die by our hand”— therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: “Behold, I will punish them. The young men shall die by the sword, their sons and their daughters shall die by famine, and none of them shall be left. For I will bring disaster upon the men of Anathoth, the year of their punishment.”
This is so beautifully explained and meditated on by Chad. Andrea Hammond sings "You Take It All".

Seasons of mourning. David went through dark times and chances are that we will too. Chad meditates on this scripture that speaks to us in the dark hours of life. Marvelle Figueroa sings "Forgiveness"
“I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness. I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols. Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.”
This is what our minds should dwell on. The beautiful love and mercy that has come for us and called us by name. Chad has an encouraging word for us and Markita Knight sings a beautiful song entitled "Behold".
Once again we meditate on an Old Testament passage that is all about Jesus Christ. When we read "
5
The Lord God has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious; I turned not backward.
6
I gave my back to those who strike, and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard; I hid not my face from disgrace and spitting.
7
But the Lord God helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame."
We realize that Christ humbled Himself in so many ways, even giving His cheeks to His tormentors. Chad meditates on this and the meaning of "Word of the Father".

You were despised and rejected Your labor was not in vain In the shadow of Your hand, you hid me You saved me and know my name Open your ears, all you people Pay attention near and far Our salvation Our salvation
But You said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely my right is with the Lord, my recompense with my God.”
And now the Lord says, he who formed You from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him; and that Israel might be gathered to him— for You are honored in the eyes of the Lord, and Your God has become Your strength—. Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
