Sitting down with my new friend and brother-in-Christ Richard Matthews for a MUCH NEEDED conversation in todays social climate!

Richard is sharing the testimony of how he was raised in the church but not raised in Christ, so he strayed from the faith and began to find his identity in sexuality instead as a gay man suffering with addictions - until he had an encounter with Jesus that radically transformed his life.

My first solo episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast in a while!

This episode is for believers and unbelievers alike.

For the continued H&H listeners, I put this one together for you to send to your unsaved loved… but there is also an important message for you here, too — about what being a follower of Christ actually demands of you. So I pray this is as edifying for you, as it is hopefully inviting, to unbelievers.

For the unbeliever… I explain that I understand if you have church hurt or if the doctrine of man has left a bad taste in your mouth for Christianity and address the extremely valid issue with this… With that, I talk about how a lot of churches focus on your sin ONLY, failing to expand on the LOVE that DIED for your sin… So many leave feeling condemned, rather than convicted.

Condemnation comes from shame; conviction comes from love, leading to true faith and repentance.

My goal with this episode, unbeliever, is not to tell you how wicked you are and that you need Jesus… My goal is to tell you that DESPITE how wicked we ALL are *without* Him, He DIED FOR YOU ANYWAY because your value to Him is so immeasurably demonstrative and His love for you so abundant that He chose you offer you eternal salvation even if you would never choose to receive it.

By talking about the Lord’s love for you and the Truth of His character, it is my deepest prayer that you would come to a revelation of the Father’s love and fall to your knees in surrender to Him… or, at the least, that a seed of faith would be planted that the Holy Spirit would use to do a work in you and bear the fruit of later.

I tackle common opposition, to break the chains of lies that keep you shackled from knowing the Truth… such as: that Christianity is self-righteous, that the Bible is a myth and/or written to control the masses, that religion is shoved down our throat, that “religion” is an oppressive rulebook to follow, that God is an ego-maniac, authoritative dictator and more…

I genuinely pray that the Lord will use this episode for His glory, and for the good of all who listen or watch.

Here, I talk with my friend Jake McElfresh of Front Porch Step for his first interview in 8 years following a scandal that ruined his career in 2014.

I was a pop-punk kid back then and made an idol of music before Jesus, living by the mantra “music saved my life” and was into FPS, using it as a way to cope during a breakup as well as the death of my grandmother — so this is a full circle moment, now that we are both born again disciples of Jesus Christ.

In this discussion, he shares how he grew up, what his journey with God looked like throughout his life — how he was a “Christian," thinking that saying a sinner’s prayer meant he would go to heaven — he describes how his parents divorce affected his perspective of women, and how he got into the music scene.

From there, he speaks on his Front Porch Step career, the depraved man he was, and the gritty details of the scandal. He so vulnerably and honestly shares how it all spiraled and ultimately sent him right to rock bottom, both personally and professionally.

But that is where Jesus met Him: at the end of himself. Much later, Jake felt the unconditional love of Christ for the first time, realizing that no matter what he did, God would love and forgive him.

Jake eventually surrendered in repentance, and laid it all at the foot of the cross, turning his life around by the grace of God. His walk with Jesus led him to his wife Shanelle. He tells us the intimate story of how they met, how he courted her, and how they eventually married.

Sharing Jake's story is about demonstrating what the gospel actually is, because his testimony shows the Heart of the Father. No one is beyond redemption.

What God has done in his life is the epitome of the old man being crucified, and the new man being resurrected in Christ.

When the carnal world offers no mercy, God offers mercy as we receive His Truth in faith. That is why Jesus' free gift of salvation is so precious.

Each of us needs a Savior that we are ALL EQUALLY undeserving to have.

And yet, when we have Him, there is no condemnation.

He makes us a new creation, not because of who we are but because of who He is.

We pray the Lord will use this to plant seeds of faith.

In this episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I welcome back my friend Tailah Scroggins @tailahofficial to talk more about deliverance. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our previous episode together, where Tailah shares her testimony and we talk on topics like cessationism, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, church hurt, refining seasons with the Lord, and counterfeit healing of the New Age.

This follow-up discussion is primarily centered on deliverance, since it is such a hot topic amongst the body of Christ right now. Our prayer here is to bring clarity and edification to our brothers and sisters, using the Word of God as our basis of reasoning.

This is the first time I share my testimony of how I was delivered from unclean spirits over a year after I accepted Christ as my Savior, repented for my sins and received Him in faith December 2021. This deliverance follows shortly both my water and Holy Spirit baptisms, both at the beginning months of 2023.

As I share, Tailah — who has years of experience within this area in her own church that believes in the importance of casting out demons — explains the biblical foundation of what that means exactly, and why it is indeed appropriate for the Christian to receive deliverance.

Do not hear what we are not saying in this discussion…

We are NOT negating the work Jesus did on the cross. We are NOT saying deliverance is the answer for every problem a Christian has in their life. We are NOT saying that true repentance is not required… In fact, I will be recording another episode with my dear sister in Christ Naela on the tail of this episode with Tailah, to expand upon and highlight some crucial components that Tailah and I either missed or did not fully cover in this episode. So before you cast stones, be sure to check out that when it is released. :)

We believe that there is a biblical stance on this that can eliminate the current climate that swings from one equally destructive end of the pendulum: “deliverance is a no” to the other end of deliverance mania — and we pray you will discern that with us, using our precious Word of God.

In Heaven & Healing Podcast’s first ever in-person interview in the new studio setup, I have an amazing conversation with one of my good friends, Tailah Scroggins! In part one of our two-part series together, she shares her full coming-to-Christ testimony and we talk about my journey from cessationism  to walking in full faith of the Word, of God, of Jesus and of the Holy Spirit.

Tailah grew up in a Christian household loving Jesus, but did not have a true encounter with the Holy Spirit until she was 14 years old and the Lord delivered her from an eating disorder. A few years after, she was on her way to seeing her dreams come true with a record deal that fell through and crushed her heart. She was mad at God and turned her back on Him throughout her later teenage years into her college days when she was living a life of rebellion. She partied, she smoked, she drank, she practiced astrology and immersed herself in ungodly relationships.

Like the prodigal son, she finally came back home to Jesus in her twenties and has since been ministering deliverance, hosting services with her family church, sharing her story online, writing/creating/producing worship music, and living in radical obedience for God.

In this conversation, we talk about the deception of astrology, seasons of refinement with the Lord, the reality of church hurt, what it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and discuss the gifts of the Holy Spirit. With the topic of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we go into what the New Age counterfeit version of those gifts could look like.

The devil cannot create, he can only corrupt, and so any supernatural power we see in the occult, witchcraft or New Age, it is nothing more than a demonic perversion of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit that our Lord offers us.

Hey y’all, long time no see! I actually recorded this episode back in May, but I thought it got lost when I had a corruption in my files… However, by a sheer accident (or God-ordained happenstance), I was able to recover it! I wanted to share this with you ASAP because I know that I have been pretty inconsistent over the past couple of months… and I do apologize. The reason for my absence being — I have a lot going on in my personal life right now that I have not publicly disclosed. That said, I’m out of the weeds and able to give much more of my time and attention pouring back into this ministry that I love so much, all for the glory of God.

Regarding this episode, it was inspired by the Target controversy that was circulating all over the internet. I got to thinking about how this is so much bigger than Target, than Bud Light, than Ford, than North Face, then Starbucks — it is all so much bigger than any company, brand, product or artist that promotes a particular agenda despite that the news, social media and conservative/liberal influencers alike focus ON those things — but rather, it’s the spirit BEHIND the agenda that we need to focus on.

I talk about how the worldly motives come back to the same temptation Satan offered Jesus in the desert — that if Jesus would only worship Satan, he would give Jesus all the kingdoms of the Earth. That is exactly what he is doing now: offering us the world by tempting us with the predication that we know better than God and therefore can live however we want. It is Satan who is responsible for puppeteering the companies, brands, artists etc. promoting sinful, unrepentant lifestyles, resulting in Stockholm syndrome among the masses who fall in love with the god of self.

Overall, this is a monologue about how satanism sells in a world where we are constantly fed the self-love gospel that we are enough, which keeps “them” relevant, which keeps sin relevant, which, ultimately — keeps Satan relevant and at the forefront of your life.

Satan doesn’t care if you believe in him or not. If you’re not living for Jesus, you’re living for the enemy. If you’re living for yourself, you’re feeding from the pit of hell.

In this totally candid, unplanned episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, available on Youtube, Apple andSpotify, my husband makes his first appearance on the show! Well… his voice does.

One night a few weeks ago, he and I were up eating cheeseburgers, watching television when he suddenly turns off the show and tells me we should go upstairs and record a podcast. This is the result of that!

My husband, Mike, stars *behind* the camera from this episode. He wanted to sit down with me and ask me the first questions that came to mind — some questions that he had before he was a believer, because it is his hope that someone who is agnostic or thinks the way that he used to would hear this and have seeds of faith planted that, God-willing, would later bear abundant fruit of salvation.

Mike asks me about my testimony, he asks what I would say to someone who questions why people die of sickness if God is real and loving, he asks how I would go about inviting a non-believer (such as his former self) to church with me, he asks what I would say to anyone I used to be friends with that pushes against me because of my faith, and finally, he asks what my mission with Heaven & Healing Podcast is overall.

This is the first time you guys get to hear from Mike personally.

Granted, it’s from behind the camera and about ten feet away from the microphone so you may have to turn up the volume when he speaks — but regardless, he shares a bit about his experience when he was agnostic and came to church with me, how he felt God pounding on the door of his heart and continued to ignore it for the longest time. You get to hear a part of his testimony from his own mouth for the first time!

This is definitely a very casual, intimate, conversational episode, but I think there are a lot of good nuggets in this that I pray the audience will receive encouragement and edification from.

We get into the meat of this episode immediately, talking about how skewing the lines of sexuality and gender is a gateway to the next “evolutionary step” of the antichrist agenda, that being transhumanism, and how Kevin believes it is all Satan’s very last plan to execute.

This discussion includes topics like artificial wombs, deep fakes, kids with iPads and the dangers of virtual reality; how ultimate goal of artificial intelligence is showcasing the same lie humanity since the fall in the garden: that man can become God.

Alongside AI, we talk about the dangers of chat GPT and how these trendy social media outlets are all actually teaching AI how to change the interface and the psyche of mankind as a whole, and our willing participation in these sorts of things actually have us eating out of the palm of Satan, especially given the fact that many users have had real experiences with these AI ‘bots’ where they have admitted that they’re actual demons from hell.

Of course, talking about transhumanism and AI leads to Elon Musk. We get into how sinister Neuralink is, given that the goal is to create a way for mankind to develop their consciousness outside of their body. Kevin says “I don’t think Elon is the antichrist, but I do think if the antichrist had a friend, it would be Elon.”

Truly every second of this episode is loaded with fire! Kevin is so intelligent, well-versed and biblically consistent in his presentations. Ultimately, everything discussed in this episode points to the more than likely reality that we are indeed living in the end times.

Bu with that, Kevin leaves us with an encouraging word on how the most important thing we can be doing through these tumultuous times is keeping our eyes on Jesus, and how we have nothing to be afraid of because Jesus has overcome the world, and we are more than conquerers in Christ.

Part one of my interview with Kevin (kingkat2.0) is available now on Youtube, Apple and Spotify to watch or listen! So excited about this, as it is a long-time coming. The Lord has used Kevin as an integral piece of my own testimony, which you’ll hear about in this episode where we dive into a whole plethora of topics with a somehow seamless flow that only the Holy Spirit could be responsible for!

In this episode, we start with Kevin’s story about how growing up in the melting pot of NY with many backgrounds/religions led him to questions about the Bible: is it true, who is Jesus, and is He God? This led him into the world of apologetics, as he recognized that his Catholic upbringing didn’t prepare him for hard conversations to justify his faith. However, his journey in the apologetic realm only got him so far as he eventually recognized that a person can know arguments ABOUT God without actually KNOWING God - that one can have an intellectual mind with a hardened heart - and with that, Kevin had a break down in his room and told Jesus he needed him. It was then he not only had an answer for his head, but for his soul.

But his radical, heartfelt faith didn’t negate Kevin’s love for apologetics, as he was challenged by an atheist friend for serving the “white man’s religion,” which led him to his study of the secularist/atheistic worldview that is ultimately rooted in macro-evolution/Darwinism. Kevin found that Darwin’s famous book was originally titled “Origin of Species: the preservation of favored races” which, of course, is not how the book is presented to us in schools. Darwin actually believed that black people were a subspecies - so, ironically, it was Kevin’s atheistic friend’s worldview that was racist, not Kevin’s.

Our conversation here leads into progressivism, how Darwin will never be cancelled in the face of BLM culture because Darwinism is the undercurrent of the Marxism overcoming our present society. Kevin goes deep into the misconceptions of “racist Christianity,” explaining that the complete face of racism has a spirit behind it.

From there, we talk about progressivism seeping into the church, including how much of modern Christianity proclaims the gospel of love, watering down the true gospel of power. Kevin really goes into these issues within the body of Christ - how we have completely intellectualized the Bible, as he once did. He discusses how the Kingdom of God is not just talk, but power — and because we live in a culture now that is now overall hyper-spiritual, the Lord is forcing His church to get uncomfortable, stand up, and not only preach the Word of God, but actually demonstrate the Word of God.

By biblical definition, Taylor Swift carries the spirit of disobedience that is present within all children of wrath whom (knowingly or unknowingly) obey the devil.

She doesn't need your thousand dollars per ticket, she doesn't need you screaming & crying at the sight of her and feeding her flesh, she doesn't need you defending her against the gospel -- she needs you to be interceding for her.

She needs to be number one on your prayer list, not your play list.

Only a New Age teacher would say something like “suicide ideation is a symptom of spiritual awakening.”

We hear stuff like this all the time within this dangerous, psuedospiritual community: “people mistake wanting to die with an ego death,” “we carry karmic loads from previous lifetimes that we must unpack in this life to usher soul growth,” “your suffering is teaching you how to expand” and other nonsensical expressions that sound like a prophetic answer to the untrained, vulnerable, desperate ear.

Of course, none of it is true. It’s all a deception, authored by the enemy and designed to lure you further into the trap of satanism gift-wrapped as “self-healing.”

This two-part episode is a response to popular New Age teacher Christina Lopes’ recent YouTube video where she ‘explains’ the spiritual ramifications of suicide ideation, presenting pantheistic and Buddhist concepts as justifications to one’s suffering. Christina says there is no eternal punishment for suicide (or anything), that our soul comes back over and over to achieve eternity (?), that someone who wants to die is simply having an ego death, that the planet is a conscious being going through “her” own soul expansion which affects our own, and that we should seek out shamans for support.

In part-one, I address her reasoning as to WHAT suicide ideation is and why it’s utter hogwash by challenging the inconsistencies and pitfalls of her New Age frame with a solid, coherent biblical frame.

In the part-two members-exclusive, I tackle her illogical, manipulative perspective as to WHY suicide ideation is on the rise and the SOLUTIONS she offers in the face of that — and bring it all back as to why JESUS is the only Way, Truth and Life despite how many self-proclaimed spiritual gurus claim otherwise.

The punch-line with this episode is that it’s actually not at all about why we should “live and let live,” but actually quite the opposite.

Episode 19 of Heaven & Healing Podcast is about why Christians must be bold in standing against “live and let live” and not be gaslit by New Agers, secularists or the woke mob by being told we ‘need’ to be respectful of others and ‘stop trying to force’ our beliefs on them; this episode is an encouragement to believers to be bold in their faith and unashamed in proclaiming the gospel of Christ as THEE universal, objective truth.

As a Christian: Are you constantly worrying about what friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances will think about you for speaking on Christianity? Do you feel backed into a corner when you try to expose spiritual darkness and are met with angry responses that demand you be more kind to others? Do you sometimes think that it’s innocuous enough if others’ just live how they want/love how they want/practice what they want so long as they are happy and seemingly harmless? In this discussion, I reflect on my personal experience with persecution and use biblical context to explain why it’s to be expected and why we can delight in it when it happens. I talk about the inconsistencies of logic that New Age spiritualists & secularists use when it comes to their ideologies, why relative truth cannot exist, human rights that we think we’re entitled to vs. Creator right’s that God Almighty IS entitled to, how it IS actually loving to tell the truth, satanism of self-idolatry disguised as compassion and why, when you unpack the beliefs against opposing worldview, Christianity is indeed solid as a rock.

I will not be in the business of partnering with darkness for the sake of being ‘tolerant, accepting and nonjudgmental;’ I will continue to speak out on the falsity of other religions/beliefs in affirming that Jesus is the True Way, and I pray the same confidence in faith for you.

Don’t let them make you feel crazy. Don’t let them beat you down with inclusivity. Don’t go out of your way to insult someone — but don’t feel guilty if you insult someone for being honest.

Live and let live doesn’t save anyone.

Welcome back to Heaven & Healing Podcast — the first episode of 2023! This is my special “One Year with Jesus” anniversary episode where I share the synopsis of my testimony for anyone who hasn’t heard it before and from there reflect on what my first full year walking with the Lord has been like.

The episode starts with the background context of where I’m coming from: New Age spirituality, obsessed with ‘self-healing’ modalities such as tarot, astrology, yoga, reiki, crystal healing and more. I discuss how even though I spent nearly a decade entrenched in those things, there was never true, substantial healing — only bouts of relief that would eventually perpetuate more patterns of bad behavior, anxiety and chronic depression.

I was 27 years old, curled up on my kitchen floor ready to end my life when I called out to Jesus Christ for the first time in September 2021. By late December 2021, after straddling the fence of “New Age Christianity” for several months, I finally laid my life before the Lord’s feet in conviction of the Holy Spirit and, by the grace of God, surrendered faith to Jesus Christ entirely.

Christ healed my relationship anxiety, my ongoing depression, my lustful tendencies and my bondage to demonic deception of NA.

A year later, I continue to be sanctified by God’s peace that surpasses all understanding.

In this episode, I share what it was like with my NA circle after I came to know Jesus, how my mom’s salvation followed my own, give a look into my relationship with my fiancé before and after his experience finally coming-to-Christ, reflect on the difference in how I handle struggles before I knew Jesus vs. now, share some things I am accused of with maintaining my platform, praise God for the opportunities He has given me to glorify Himself, discuss the way God has both humbled my theology and allowed me to embrace my freedom in Christ post-NA where I was afraid of demonic deception.

There’s a special message for unbelievers at the end that I pray God will use to reach ears to listen.

In this conversation, I dive deep into the history, definitive context, and pagan-dominant roots of yoga. The research I share with you in this episode really goes to show how the yoga practice is intrinsically curated for the purposes of both self-salvation and worship of Hindu gods, and therefore cannot be seen as separate from these objective truths regardless of the yogi’s subjective intent to practice. 

Of all New Age/mindfulness/occultist (whatever you want to call it) practices, yoga is the one thing that I get the most push back from from Christians and non-Christians alike, claiming that yoga is totally experiential and simply innocuous stretching — so this episode is to educate Christians especially on this topic, so that moving forward, an informed decision can be made within the context of the yoga practice: does it truly bring glory to God to abide in a pagan vine that can never produce holy fruit?

I discuss the history, definitions, design and spiritual context surrounding the yoga practice, explaining why/how it is a physical divination practice and supplement Scripture as the testament to that truth, breakdown the difference between yoga and stretching, and present some alternative modalities of exercise.

In this episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I speak with an ex-psychic medium, Jenn Nizza Hofacker. Jenn had a very successful career in psychic mediumship before crying out to Jesus Christ in a moment of desperation. I ask some of the questions all of us have as believers (and even as non-believers) when it comes to homosexuality as it relates to Scripture, and Samuel does an excellent job breaking down some heretical issues within the church surrounding this culturally inflamed topic, and offers approachable solutions to how we, as the body of Christ, can share God’s Word in truth and love with members of the LGBTQ community.

While Scripture teaches that homosexual acts are sinful, these Bible verses aren't about condemning homosexuals, gays, lesbians, or transgender people. Rather, they are God's loving warning and offering of grace for those who have strayed from His will for sex.

We live in a fallen world with a fallen nature, but in Christ, we can be new creations.

In this episode, I talk about how when New Agers specifically begin our walk with Christ, we tend to approach the world with kid-gloves because we have PTSD from the horrific deception we were spellbound by in NA and are terrified of the devil tricking us again, especially because we have finally received the true fulfillment we had been in a futile search for before surrendering to Jesus. Because of that, we tend to over-credit Satan and give him way too much clout that he does not deserve. As believers in Christ — as children of God — we should not overestimate the devil in this way.

By the same token, I discuss how Scripture says that Satan does indeed blind the minds of unbelievers. Therefore, while believers should not underestimate the devil… un-believers should certainly not underestimate him. Un-believers need to be made consciously aware of Satan’s wickedness, snares, deceit and malignancy. More importantly, they need to be made aware of the Good News — Jesus loves them unconditionally and can redeem them from the Evil ONe.

Additionally, I speak on how when we constantly shift the blame for all haphazards, wrongdoings and negativity in life, we lack taking responsibility for our own infallible nature. The Bible tells us that our fleshly desires wage war against our soul and that the wages of sin are death. This speaks volumes to the powerful nature of sin and temptation. More often than not, it’s not the devil messing us up — it’s us submitting to the flesh. While Satan certainly cheers on your destructions, he is not always the inherent cause of them.

The punchline of this episode is this: GOD IS SOVEREIGN OVER SATAN. The devil DOES NOT have unlimited power as God does. He cannot do anything outside of the boundaries God has set in place for him; he cannot wreak havoc on anything without God’s providence. Ultimately, Satan is God's subordinate, not His opposite equal.

In episode 13 of Heaven & Healing Podcast “Neutrality is a Myth” I have a great talk with my dear brothers in Christ, Jeremiah Andrews and Andrew Soncrant — the brilliant minds behind the The Cultish Show @thecultishshow !

We start this conversation off by sharing both Jeremiah and Andrew’s individual testimonies of how they each came to know Jesus, and then dive into the birth-story of their podcast Cultish. From there, we get into a lengthy discussion all about how neutrality is a myth, covering different apologetic subjects all ultimately within the realm of relativism. We talk abut agnostics, new age-ism, secularism, and other religions — how these varied worldviews, as the antithesis of Christianity, are all either entirely self-refuting in their beliefs/claims or simply borrow from the Christian worldview to make their case.

For Christians, this is a helpful episode to take note of those  questions/ideologies that the unbelievers, apostates, spiritualists or “indifferent” people in your life may challenge you with regarding your faith.

FOR those unbelievers, apostates, spiritualists and “indifferent” folk, this would be a great episode for you to listen to with a willingness to be wrong and to learn new things. 

The truth is, everyone looks at life from a religious bias, in terms of what or who has the ultimate authority (God, man, reason, nature, etc). Even atheists are not neutral because their policy is determined on the presupposition that there is no God.

There IS no neutrality in anything. Especially with Christ.

In episode 12 of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I have a conversation with my new friend in Christ Matt Reynolds. Matt is a trans man born a biological female who transitioned as a young adult, and came to know Jesus in a moment of desperation when calling on the Lord’s help, after realizing how the whole of the LGBTQ movement itself (not necessarily the whole community) is quite evidently on a mission to indoctrinate the youth.

This episode is not about transgenderism as a sin — though it is a sin that nevertheless can be washed clean by the blood of Jesus, as it did for Matt —  but rather, it is about the sin of harming children. The goal is to shine light on a dark, controversial topic that everyone, especially Christians, need to stop tip-toeing around because what is happening to our kids is dangerous and children are God’s most precious commodity.

Matt is the best candidate to discuss this topic with, being a member OF the LGBTQ community who now sees through the lens of Christianity. The discussion is fiery, informative, raw, sometimes disturbing, and thought-provoking.

Before knowing God, Joshua was a heavy drug user which landed him in unfortunate situations such as incarceration, rehabilitation centers, and even instances of overdose that left him on the brink of death. Though he considered himself well-versed across the drug spectrum, a lot of his use did include a variety of psychedelics.

In this conversation, Josh tells the story of how his degenerate lifestyle led him to repentance and genuine faith in Jesus’ saving grace. But it doesn’t end there. Josh talks abut something that isn’t necessarily considered a popular topic amongst believers: back-sliding. He speaks on how his discouragement of others rejecting Jesus sort of took him back to drugs he swore away from, and shares a supernatural encounter he had with God after compromising himself by taking mushrooms again where he finally understood the magnitude of his sin, his foolishness of faith in self, the simultaneous loving wrath of our Lord, the dangers of psychedelics and the undeserved mercy of Christ that left him running back into the Fathers’ arms once and for all.

Josh’s story is an inspiring example in so many facets. It shows how you are truly never too far gone to accept Jesus. It shows how incredibly patient Jesus is. It shows how very real the threat of spiritual warfare is at all times. It shows how important it is for Christians to remain diligent in Christ rather than of the world. It shows the essence of sin. It shows how God truly is both eternally loving and fiercely wrathful all at once.

In the tenth episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I take on a huge topic: the evil of the music industry.

Throughout my teenage years and most of my twenties, I accredited music to saving my life. I idolized musicians, their lyrics and artistry to the point where I genuinely felt as though music was the solitary thing keeping me from suicide. I was depressed, broken and traumatized — and the one thing I found my salvation in was music. Of course, in hindsight, I recognize that the healing I was searching for in music could only ever be found in Jesus Christ, but back then I didn’t know better. That’s why this episode is such a huge deal for me: I am crushing my own idols.

In this episode, I explain the actual science of music — how the frequencies disrupt our natural bioelectrical currents, sending us into an alpha state where we lose our necessity to critically reason, thus literally having the capacity to change our character, sense of morality and spirituality. From there, I talk about what the Bible says God’s design is for music and how the devil has infiltrated that purpose as I go through the history of music and why 1953 is where everything changed for the worse. Of course, the history of the music industry cannot be discussed without the person responsible for inspiring it all: Aleister Crowley, a wicked man who rejected his parents’ devout Christianity by creating his own religion Thelema, a gnostic philosophy founded on libertinism. I break down how all famous secular music, from classic rock to modern hip-hop/rap/pop, stands on the pillars of Crowleian & Satanic structures — from the lyrics, to the symbolism, to the shows, to to the videos and how they use that alpha state to brainwash the masses.

We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

On the longest recorded episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast to date, I bring on my very best friend Alyssa Linker. Alyssa has been praying for my salvation for two+ decades and we have walked through every season of life together since we were 3. She is a born and raised Christian of a nuclear family unit, whereas I am just now coming to Christ as I approach my thirties and was raised by a single mother.

In this episode, we talk about the stark contrast of our upbringings and highlight the important advantage Alyssa had growing up in a nuclear, biblical family over me whose mom gave more love than I knew what to do with, but unfortunately did not know how crucial Christ was as the foundation of that love.

Alyssa spent her twenties walking within the guidelines of Scripture and because of her choice to maintain the obedience to the Lord she was taught in adolescence, she is now a happily, newly married homemaker with a God-fearing husband who provides for their household. She is flourishing as a woman as she prepares to expand their family. I, on the other hand, spent most of my twenties “following my truth,” living as a feminist, and going down one occultist hole after the other — and am still underway a heavy sanctification process as the Lord cleans house.

The difference lies in what she had over what I didn’t: a mom AND dad — two Christian parents who live as God calls us to, and as a result, raised extremely capable, functional, poised, virtuous children that are servants of Christ.

With this conversation, Alyssa and I get into how NECESSARY it is in this world to build a nuclear family on biblical principles to eradicate the sicknesses of fatherlessness, divorce, violence, sexual promiscuity and abortion that feminism has infected society with.

Feminism ultimately seeks to dismantle traditional family paradigms as they are deemed “patriarchal” and “oppressive” in modern culture. Alyssa and I debunk those myths with data, facts, history, and Scripture. We encourage women to submit to Christ and thus embrace the true integrity of womanhood rather than cheap thrills of feminism.

REAL empowerment lives in the truth God’s Word provides.

Self + self = more self.

Self-love, self-hate, self-help — it’s all one in the same, because the root is the same: SELF.

In this episode, I talk about the dangers of self-help culture, which include: assuming that we are good enough as is, capitulating a society that is literally SELF-centered, and watering down/edifying the biblical God—if not ignoring Him altogether to opt out for the “higher self” narrative instead.

No matter how you spin it, self-help has one goal: self-actualization. Self-healing. A concept that sounds pretty to the ears, but ultimately defies Scripture. Self-help keeps our sights set on the mirror and whatever that reflection can finitely offer back to us, instead of on Jesus and our promised eternal salvation in Him.

The thing about striving for self-actualization/healing within this personal development movement is that we do genuinely go into it with the best intentions — to grow and be better people — but the intention remains self-motivated, rather than for the glory of God, which leads us to idolatry of the self, creating more need for the self and no room for the Lord.

With self-help culture, before you know it, you are so full of yourself that you don’t even realize how hungry you truly are for God.

The reason you HAVE the hunger to grow that led you to self-help is because God designed you to need Him (John 15:4-5). You are hungry because it is GOD who feeds you your daily bread — not affirmations in the mirror, or daily journals, or a routine, or mindset training, or manifestation, or whatever else self-help falsely promises as the “thing” to help you heal you.

So does this mean we should neglect our wellbeing? Absolutely not. It just means that we stop going within to find healing when that’s the same place we find our strife. The self cannot be both the problem and the solution—logically, it’s a fallacy. So instead, we focus on self-sacrifice over self-help: laying our life at the Lord’s feet and stop exalting the self & our efforts as if we ourselves are the god of our life.

Stop reaching for the best of life and instead receive the life in Christ. If you were good enough on your own, you would have “done it” by now — you need Him. Desperately. We all do.

Heaven & Healing Podcast episode 3 features my sister in Christ, Jessica Torres: ex-new ager who had a 6 figure business helping women ‘heal’ through sensuality, sex and divine feminine empowerment. She taught on popular gnostic topics such as Mary Magdalene priestess-hood and embodying our relationship to God through the goddess spirit within, all before her unexpected conviction of the Holy Spirit that lifted the veil to show her that Jesus Christ is the only truth. She gave up her business, lost her romantic relationship, and joyfully laid her life at the Lord’s feet.

In this conversation, we dive into the deceit of the divine feminine movement, how destructive it actually is in contrast to the healing that it promises, and unpack a range of topics within that realm — from sex, sensuality, trauma, relationships and more.

Our goal with this dialogue is to share how true feminine empowerment does not come from defiance of the Creator, His Living Word, nor from “crushing the patriarchy” or becoming more culturally & socially astute than men — it actually comes from the surrender and submission to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Women want to live by their own rules, with no sense of order or structure, because it feels good to our flesh and to our ego when we lack discipline or obedience. But this lifestyle of self-worship only leaves us craving more of that sensuality, giving us a false sense of security within the guise of ‘flowing goddess energy’ rather than bringing true fulfillment that can only come from living in accordance to God’s will.

The mindset that God’s will (Christ->man->woman->child) is oppressive is a radial misrepresentation of His Word.

What’s oppressive is the belief that there is freedom in the divine feminine, because you are imprisoned by your own flesh when you only live for your own desires. When you live within the structure of God, you are free from the world and resurrected in the Holy Spirit.

The devil promises freedom in the world by leading you to submit to yourself and abandon God. God promises eternity by asking you to abandon the world and submit to Him.

If you would have told me this time last year that in 365 days time, the podcast I had JUST launched a month prior would be dead and gone… buried along with the rest of my former astrology life… because instead of an esoteric self-healing podcast, I’d be starting my own ministry to talk about how much I love Jesus, I would have asked where I could buy whatever shrooms you were tripping on! And that’s the truth. I never imagined myself to be a “Jesus person” — and frankly, I didn’t get them.

I didn’t understand why people who loved Jesus so much made it a point to let everyone else know. But it truly is one of those IYKYK things because… if you know, you know. There is nothing like His love, yes, but there is ESPECIALLY nothing like his salvation.

See, both are given to us freely — His love and salvation — but it is not up to us to be loved by Him, because we simply are. To have His love is a given. To experience His love is another thing entirely, though — because THAT is a choice. To experience his love is to first WELCOME the salvation that He is so eager, willing and joyful to give you.

Of the near decade I spent engulfed in the false light of new age spirituality — no fancy esoteric modality, technique or practice has ever brought me the true soul healing that Jesus Christ has given me in a few short months in accepting Him as my Lord and Savior.

Turns out it wasn’t a blocked charka. Turns out it wasn’t my Venus in Cancer. Turns out it wasn’t an energy imbalance. Turns out it wasn’t an old karmic debt or past-life trauma resurfacing. Turns out I didn’t need to carry an obsidian in my bra every day. Turns out, I was missing God. The TRUE, LIVING God, that is. I had formed an idol of who I believed God should be based on how I felt, as many do in the new age, so I THOUGHT I knew Him, but I was only experiencing the counterfeit Christ who tells us to follow our heart.

Jesus was clear. Follow Him. Proverbs 3:5-6

In this first episode of Heaven & Healing Podcast, I share my personal new age to Jesus testimony, talk about the difference between God’s unconditional love vs. unconditional tolerance, discuss what type of content you can expect from future podcast episodes, and so much more. The scripture focus of this episode is Isiah 47:13 — AKA the verse that finally did me in and admit astrology was not God’s will.

This is not my last podcast. It is my last Moon and Back podcast.

When I started this podcast, my goal was to talk alongside one another on the self-healing journey.

I now see self-healing as irrelevant in the understanding that the full love and healing myself and my listeners are seeking can only be found in God. He is the answer to the emptiness that I thought “self-healing” could fulfill. I am convicted in the knowing that nothing — not tarot, not reiki, not yoga, not crystals, not chakra work, not channeling aliens, not witchcraft, not the law of attraction, not astrology — can  fill that void or longing except Jesus Christ.

I tried for a few months to keep one foot in Christianity and one foot in my astrology work, because I loved astrology with my entire heart, found my identity in it, built my platform around it, and am good at it. However, truth is truth and the truth is that astrology and other new age practices are founded and rooted in paganism, self-actualization, universal consciousness and have nothing to do with God. My intentions have been good, trying to bring God to the forefront of the astrology work, but as the saying goes — the road to hell is paved in good intentions.

We don’t need astrology. Formed in ancient Babylon, the very city known for rejecting God, the purpose of astrology was to inform the individual of the course of their life in the basis of the positions of planets and zodiac signs, AKA to put one’s faith and purpose in the planetary patterns rather than in God Almighty.

Astrology worships the creation. I am here to worship the Creator. So I’m done. I find my identity in Jesus Christ, in being a child of God, not in being a Gemini sun.

I know this is different. I know I’m going to lose people. I know people will think I’m nuts. I’m fine with it. I am more sound than I ever have been in my life — because I’m filled with the Holy Spirit, not with the influence of whatever Mercury is doing.

Unfortunately, all of the new age practices all have roots that have literally nothing to do with God or with Christ as our Savior, even when they present as holy or divine. 2 Corinthians 11:14 “Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” Satan capitalizes on our trauma and pain, inviting us to happiness in things like the law of attraction, astrology, tarot, enneagrams, etc. so that we feel like we have answers, identify and meaning — when really, all we need is God, his Word, his Son and his Spirit.  

The new age teaches that we don’t need a man written book to tell us about God, while at the same time giving us their own man made interpretation on how they view God. The new age teaches that truth is all relative and there’s no absolute truth, which is a relativist, self-defeating fallacy since they attempted to make an objective truth statement that there’s no objective truth. New age teaches that religion is a control tool while at the same time they are trying to influence our decisions based on this statement, which makes new age beliefs a control tool.

Everything about the new age is contradictory and deceitful. I apologize, from the bottom of my heart, for presenting these false teachings for the past 7 years. I pray in repentance.

Closing books on self-help and opening the Bible began to cure my anxiety. Turning away from tarot cards and toward Jesus Christ saved my relationship. Ceasing any participation in moon rituals and praying to the Father, Son & Holy Spirit saved me from suicide.

My podcast will relaunch in 2022, with a new name and new mission, where I will deep dive into these topics over and over. 

The new podcast will be focused on new age recovery, Scripture, healing in God, nutrition, health and more. I will interview people with testimonies both similar and different to mine, how finding God redeemed their lives. 

My yoga videos will no longer be traditional yoga, as the roots of yoga are undeniable in their paganism and belief that man & God are one, but rather on simply stretching and fitness. You need not worry about following a new channel, for I am simply changing the name, the brand, the imagery etc. So follow me on Instagram @angelamarieucci to stay up to date with these changes before the re-launch in the new year.

To the Moon and Back community, thank you for being here. I hope you will stick around, because in 2022, we are going so much further than the moon — we are going to Heaven.

This is a topic that the Lord has been leading me through fervent Bible study of, pouring out revelation in the secret place through my tearful prayers, and equipping me to demonstrate by refining me through the experience for quite some time now...
