I have been watching the Netflix show MAID and let me tell you, it's powerful! If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it. Why? Even if you haven't personally been affected, I'm sure you know someone who has.

Did you know every 20 people per minute (in the USA) are physically abused? This doesn't even talk about the other abuses that happen. 

Let's dive in as this is personal to me and it should be something we all need to work on, together!

Bio: Don Hajicek has often been known as "the only man in the room" at women's retreats and conferences around the world since 2012. Event organizers keep inviting him back (live stages, pre-pandemic) because the attendees report receiving great value during these discussions. Full Moon (also known as the Buck / Salmon / Hay Moon) in Aquarius is here, the major theme is irritation!

One of the biggest life upgrades I have ever made is choosing to abstain from alcohol. As someone who was a big drinker, I was surprised how focused social culture is on alcohol and drinking. I realised that going sober wasn't only about not drinking alcohol but it's also choosing to disconnect from the culture that enforces toxic behaviour.

This is why I now call it being 'uncultured' because in day to day life people are drinking to celebrate, drinking in grief, drinking to drown their sorrows, drinking because it's been a hard day and so on...
