Our last 'From The Vault' episode before Season 6 launches on Friday 6th September.

‘Making sure their parents were asleep, the two 17-year-olds quietly left their homes with their tent, sleeping bags and other bits and pieces, and drove to a secluded spot. At around midnight, they'd found the perfect place to camp, so began pitching their tent and getting comfortable. It wasn't long after this that they both thought they heard something moving around in close proximity to their tent … They kept still and quiet, and continued to listen, but this was when the sounds of movement changed into the sounds of very definite footsteps ... there was someone in the forest with them.’

'Tis the season to be jolly.....and also the season to tell spooky stories, and the cases of the missing 411 are definitely creepy. In America, tens of thousands of people go to national parks to enjoy the scenery, wildlife and the awesome experience of being in the presence of amazing natural beauty.

But over the course of over 100 years, many people have simply vanished into thin air whilst visiting these beautiful tourist attractions. Only a handful of bodies have ever been found, and those have some very disturbing and strange facts connected to their discoveries. So with the Christmas holidays upon us, lets delve into some of the strange cases of the missing 411.

Welcome To Pink Flamingos Haunted UK Podcast. This is episode 1 - Dudley Castle and Zoo In this, our first episode, we'll be delving into some of the ghostly stories, poltergeist encounters and paranormal incidents that make Dudley Castle and Zoo one of the most haunted places in the UK. We'll explore and tell the stories of ghosts and spirits such as The Grey Lady and The Drummer Boys, and also delve into the legend of a very disruptive poltergeist. Thousands of people pass through the entrance gates of Dudley Zoo and Castle every year and almost all of them have no paranormal experiences at all. No sightings, no strange feelings, nothing, but a very small number do have an experience. A small number do see, or in some cases, even photograph a ghost without knowing it. Are these people chosen somehow to have these experiences? Are they more sensitive to paranormal vibrations and happenings, or are they more susceptible to suggestion from the surrounding environment? As we go about our daily work routines, we rarely think about the environment we're working in as somewhere that is haunted, or as a place which has some sort of paranormal manifestation. Maybe we spend too much time immersed in our work schedules to even notice that strange things are going on around us every day. But that's certainly not the case for the listener who sent in the following story. His experiences, and those of his colleagues, and even the police, couldn't be ignored or simply explained away. And it seems a huge possibility that the site at which the following events took place ... could still have some surprises in store in the future …

The dog went everywhere with us, but there was no way we could get her into the van. It was as if she knew something was very wrong. It was a terrifying journey to the rubbish tip, and once we arrived, we energetically began throwing the items into the trash – but as quickly as we were throwing them away, people began pulling the items back out. Even when we tried to warn them about what these things were capable of … we were ignored.
