16 Year old Aran from Kildare was the victim of an unprovoked assault at the 'Blessington Says No' Rally in Wicklow last week by 3 local men who turned up seeking revenge for a video that went viral 2 days prior of a local black man aggressively approaching the other Rally goers. Although Aran wasn't at the rally at the time of the initial incident, the 3 men targeted and assaulted him upon their return to the Rally where they broke his phone, put him in a headlock, scarred his back and punched him in the face. Matthew and Arezu are joined by Dublin man Wayne who details his extraordinary interaction with Security Officers from Dublin's Light Rail Service 'Luas.

From initially being asked by one security officer to produce a ticket to travel (in what Wayne describes as an "aggressive" manner) to being publicly chastised by the security officers and faced with a frustrated and angry mob as a result, to finally being locked on an almost empty tram with the security officers and then taken away without anyone informing him of what was happening or where they were taking him.

Luckily for Wayne, he managed to record (almost) the entire interaction showing that what started as a customer service issue could have easily been resolved in a customer service manner, but instead was rapidly turned into a potentially dangerous situation for both Wayne and a 76 year old lady who claims she was threatened by one of the angry passengers that had turned on Wayne.

The passenger attempted to walk away and was detained by the security and asked to produce his name, ID and even a "Blue Card". Brian, Matthew and Arezu talk about the state of Ireland and the dangers of public transport after it was revealed this week that passengers of Dublins Tram service 'The Luas' feel 8 times less safe than they do on other public transport services in the country.

Matthew reveals and proves that in 2020 he and over a dozen of his Luas Security colleagues were given fake law enforcement powers by their employers Transdev Ireland and describes how they went on to use those powers to force passengers into providing proof of their identification in order to receive a fine, or else face arrest. Matthew plays an audio recording of the investigation meeting he was called to with his manager Harry Seymour a week after he reported his other manager Patrick Whyte for revealing that he would not hire black or Indian applicants for security roles on Dublin's light rail tram service 'Luas'. Knowing that both managers were long time friends and work colleagues Matthew suspected that the meeting may not go in his favour so he decided to record it.

Brian and Arezu discuss the downsides of social media apps like TikTok and ask if they do more harm than good.
