This hour plus session gave us really valuable insights into the intricate details of manufacturing and managing an operation of such magnitude while humbling our knowledge about the countless incomprehensible struggles that follow it. We also got to hear a proper version of the story regarding their motorcycle’s prices that had been doing the rounds on social media. Guff Guff Pass is ecstatic to say the least, to have with us the awesome presence of Sristi KC- an individual who is defying all the odds and in the process helping us see that blindness doesn’t mean the end of it all. We walk through her extravagant life from discovering a unique physical condition which was further worsened by some medical malpractice, leading her to completely lose her sight. But this hasn’t stopped her from starting her own social foundation, travelling , dancing, learning and above all, just enjoying the heck out of life. The issue of mental health has come to the limelight with the pandemic with its consequent lockdowns, and we, at Guff Guff Pass are glad to have had the opportunity to sit with Rojisha Shahi Thakuri, a psychologist and CBT expert. The episode provided us and hopefully also does for the viewers, with some key elements that haunt the Nepali demographics in terms of mental health. We also dove into some topics regarding the rise in teenage mental issues in the midst of a technological revolution fueled by social media. We had a blast talking about his humble beginnings and also getting some rarely surfacing perspectives from the rapper. From tiktok generation to the various mafias ruling our country’s economy, the guff guff pass team covered a wide range of semi-controversial as well as light hearted topics during the episode. We’re also thrilled to be back at the studio where some of our most memorable episodes have gone down. With the podcast culture catching up in Nepal, it feels great to have someone join us who is also traversing the same waters and facing a relatable path. A week into partial freedom and the boys are gradually feeling themselves again. Guff Guff Pass has always been about keeping things light hearted- a step back from the harsh reality that we all face, and into a more chill state of mind. The boys share their opinions on some pretty eye-raising topics from trans-athletes in women’s sports to walking on eggshells cause of the woke movement globally. We are joined once again by Dipsoman, a prolific DJ from the Nepali Electronic music scene and a close friend. Another week with the seemingly unending lockdown, but we managed to squeeze in an episode where we got to talking about a wide range of topics all the giving our bro-logic dipped two cents on them. A few laughs, a few gulps and a few dialogues later, we found ourselves delving into the worlds of Nepali prisons, underwear reviews, etc. All in all, the episode is a classic reminder of the fun we used to have when we had guests over at the Guff Guff Pass channel and hope to do so more frequently in the near future. (If this lockdown is to ever end that is)

Finally, we were able to come together and put together this episode which might feel a little reminiscent of the past as we come to grips with the reality that seems to unfold in front of us bringing with it a surprise at every corner. Guff Guff pass was a project we kicked off in the midst of the first lockdown and although this all feels like Deja Vu we were not prepared for the solitary confinement brought about with the lockdown and if it wasn't clear enough, the boys seem to reflect a few glimpses of its subtly traumatic effects 😂. Compelled by the ongoing lockdowns, we once again resort to a remote podcast via zoom to catch up and talk about a few things happening around the world. With most of us being caved in, social media usage has skyrocketed and along with it has come, a flurry of memes and viral sensations. From Hasbulla's viral videos to some pretty unique sports across the world, we try to make sense of some of it and of course, cannot shield ourselves from the comedic aspects of them. With the unending lockdown seemingly underway we were unable to shoot a podcast on location and had to resort to the much-avoided zoom  session. As we exchanged words on our experience so far, we also dive into some personal accounts and try to add some super necessary humor to all our woes and worries. There isn't much to say about this episode, other than to hope that it maybe brings a momentary smile to our viewers' faces. We are all going through something. This week we had the pleasure of having Saman Shrestha with us on Guff Guff Pass, winner of the first-ever Himalayan Roadies Nepal, a climbing enthusiast and indeed a very interesting human. We dove deep into the world of climbing as it tries to gain a foothold in the Nepalese diaspora. As an athlete transitioning into a more vegan lifestyle, Saman gives us some insight into the benefits of it and why he personally chooses to do so. This week we finally got to sit with Neha Gurung Shrestha, a dessert enthusiast with her own brand (Dessert First) that is trying to revolutionize the dessert culture in Nepal, and also a recently turned mother. Having had the same boarding school experiences in the districts of Darjeeling, we got to relive some of those nostalgic and some not so moments. Neha also shares her experiences as a new mother as well as about being pregnant in the midst of the worst pandemic of the 21st century. From Darjeeling to Kathmandu, she has slowly but surely made her mark and continues to do so through her zestful aura, and now with dessert first, one bite at a time.

This was an interesting episode with an even more interesting guest on Guff Guff Pass. Bhaskar Puri is a certified psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, who has been running his own flank for the past three years under the name Mindspa, while being in practice for even longer. Bhaskar showed us a glimpse of what hypnotherapy and how it has been able to either help or in some cases ruin humankind over the years. With his psychotherapy background we also traverse the much talked about mental health realm and how it has become a looming problem for the upcoming generations.
