Are you making it clear that you're available to work with or hire? As a service-based business owner, your social media presence is your "open for business" sign.  This is how potential clients know they can pay you.

A common (and sneaky) mistake I see happening all over Instagram is business owners not making it super clear that they're available or how clients can work with them. This is leaving money on the table and your followers unsure on their next steps.

MVP: Are you secretively selling?28 May 202400:19:58

If selling and promoting your services on social media makes you feel icky and spammy, you're not alone.

It's totally normal. We aren't born sales people.

But instead of working on the skills of selling and the mindset around selling, I see a lot of people either (1) avoid it totally or (2) secretively sell (aka disguise they're actually trying to sell something)

I've been guilty of both.  This is why I've worked so much on my own beliefs around selling. Feeling salesy isn't fun, but running a business without selling is really hard too. There's a solution.

Tune into today's episode to learn:

  • How to know if and why you're trying to disguise your selling on social media
  • How to normalize promoting and selling your services... even if you're scared now
  • What the most valuable posts are for your local audience

How To Stay Consistent in Your Local Marketing and Business with a Minimum Baseline27 Aug 202400:17:40

In this episode I'm teaching a coaching tool called "The Minimum Baseline" to help you create more consistency in your local marketing and business.

The idea behind The Minimum Baseline is it's the smallest, doable amount of anything you can commit to.

Your brain will tell you it's not enough. It will tell you that one post or 10 minutes a day isn't getting you anywhere.

But you can't listen to it. It's changing the trajectory of where you end up over 3 months, 6 months... 1 year.

It's changing who you're being.

You're being someone who honors their word. You're being someone who is consistent.

You're being that local go-to person.

Tune into Episode 89 to learn:

  • How to start with small, doable commitments to build consistency

  • How to become the person who follows through no matter what vs needing instant gratification (likes, comments) in order to show up consistently

  • Plus, practical tips for time management to fit something new into your day

Are you secretively selling?22 Aug 202300:21:57

If selling and promoting your services on social media makes you feel icky and spammy, you're not alone.

It's totally normal. We aren't born sales people.

But instead of working on the skills of selling and the mindset around selling, I see a lot of people either (1) avoid it totally or (2) secretively sell (aka disguise they're actually trying to sell something)

I've been guilty of both.  This is why I've worked so much on my own beliefs around selling. Feeling salesy isn't fun, but running a business without selling is really hard too. There's a solution.

Tune into today's episode to learn:

These people don't actively troll us online, but they live rent free in our minds... stopping us from showing up how we truly want to.
