Another week, another lot of rain effected race meetings, but we are not gonna let that keep us down, and the team review the only meeting in the region with a comprehensive look of the Mount Isa Cup meeting on the weekend. A final chat on rained out race meetings, and a look ahead at a HUGE weekend of racing in the west. Its going to be a mammoth two days of racing. The Cups Queen is back for another week after notching two more cups to her resume on the weekend. As always Brooke is joined by Max and Wattsy as they disect all the results from Saturday in Barcaldine and Mount Isa (Gregory Downs Meeting). A look ahead at the noms as we see the first of the battle of the bush heats. And a chat about the changing of the guard with the open company sprinters in the bush.

After being left stranded by floodwaters in Blackall, Andrew and Brooke are back after swimming home, as always joined by Max. After an interesting post in Country Punters generated some great discussion, we talk about how we can entice more jockeys and apprentices to the bush and if more needs to be done by Racing Queensland to help. Plus Felix the Cat phones in and talks about his record breaking day out on Saturday!!!

Episode 22!! Brooke, Max and Wattsy wrap up all the action from Corfield and Tambo. And a special Top 5 Tonight, Top 5 Peformances of the 2020-2021 season, a look back at some terrific stories from the past 12 months. And tonight's talking point, is enough being done to promote each regions premiership? As its perhaps a better measuring stick for performance within a region, should RQ and the clubs be liasing better to create more prestige around these efforts.

EPISODE 21! And yes after a HUGE weekend in the Greater Western Region with results from Julia Creek, Roma and Longreach. We talk Grand Old Campaigners after Fabs Cowboy notched up his 44th win. And Tanya Parry Phones in for a chat after taking out 4 of the 5 races at Julia Creek and securing the 2020-2021 Country Trainers Premiership in the process.

Episode 18!! Andrew, Brooke and Max devote the majority of this Episode to the Battle of the Bush final run on Saturday at Eagle Farm. They take an in depth look in particular at the 5 runners who have qualified out of the Greater Western Region Heats. Sizzalating wins again at Mckinlay, Alisha Ross phoned in for a chat with Wattsy about this tough little horse. And Brooke has a question for the boys, city jockey or country jockey, who should the nod for the final.

Episode 17!  The Brooke, Max and Wattsy wrap up all the racing from Richmond, Longreach and Cunnamulla.  Hotboxes, who doesn't love a good greasy feed after the races. Episode 15!

Cloncurry Battle of the Bush was run and won on Saturday, we catch up on all the results from up north before heading down to Tambo to dissect the Tambo Cup Meeting for 2021. 

Jockeys, we all know they cover huge kilometres to ride winners, and after Bubba Tilley reached 500 winners over the weekend, we thought to ourselves, who are the prolific, winning jockeys from the bush, and why isn't there any accurate statistics to track this? Side note, Bubba still hasn't caught Ross yet ;)

Special Guest this evening is Danielle O'Brien who trained her first winner at Tambo - Spallina - in her Late Father Dennis O'Brien's Colours. Congratulations again Danielle!
