Dr. Scott Lynn (T: @ScottKLynn_PhD, FB: @DrLynner, IG: @drsklynn) is one of the smartest people in the golf world today. To the masses he may not be a house hold name but behind the scenes he is one of the people developing and improving technology so everyone can play better and have more fun.
Not only is Dr. Lynn a Professor of Kinesiology and Biomechanics at Cal State University Fullerton but he is also the Director of Research and Education for Swing Catalyst (a video analysis software company that also provides pressure and force plate technology to teachers/coaches in golf). Dr. Lynn has worked with some of the best coaches and players in the world in developing Swing Catalyst and his analysis of the stresses on the body during the golf swing and how this may be used to develop a safer and more effective swing and a golf specific exercise program is helping golfers around the world.
Dr. Lynn also works with other sports such as baseball and hockey and is well known for his work with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.

This is the second time I had Geoff on the show and he never disappoints. Talking to him is like opening a full encyclopedia collection on putting. In this episode we discuss why golfers have trouble aiming the putter correctly (90%+ of golfers of all skill levels cannot do this). How to read greens – both instinctively and scientifically, whichever suits you. Also, why even PGA Tour pros are putting 20% less than their potential.
