in this episode we travel along the coast of North America from Georgia to Alabama and discover Roman relics, cuneiform tablets, all from around the same date around 4,000 years ago. in fact only with two years between the three tablets.  We discover more cities and pyramids, not mounds as they are called,  and other strange trade relics and more giants, for this period at least, up to eight feet tall. The average European male was five foot two inches tall in the colonial period so these were giants. Now they are basketballers.  Then we venture to the Bahamas  and find an area crawling with pyramids, platforms, quays, roads covering the underwater plateau that they are on. A plateau that is divided only by a great geological skid mark called the Tongue of the Ocean. Was this Atlantis? Did what caused the great skid mark end the culture that was living here?

In our last episode we had made it to New York and now were are heading down the coast and up the rivers and tributaries that we meet along the coast  to find paleolithic remains, buried giants, strange rock carvings and incisings and numerous other things that confound out theory that man has only been in North America since 18,000 BC and that no one had visited prior to the Vikings in the Medieval Period. Nothing like an absurd change. Things like  a strange storm where a pice of alabaster is dropped from the sky as well as a frozen gopher turtle. Where we meet the santer, a North Carolina panther, and they do not exist either,  that appears for a period and then disappears again. There is also the Lake Storsjon lakemonster in Sweden, rarely seen before this period but suddenly wanting to be popular. We also have the tale of the little ten year old girl who disappeared in Pennsylvania in the  Black Forest whilst walking in the one spot whilst looking up into the sky. This was during sightings of a flock of giant birds that were even strong enough to disembowel and pick up a bear hunters dog. No Chihuahua this one. And there are more for you to discover. You thought Bigfoot only lived in North America?

  Meet the Yowie, his Australian cousin, in the Colony of New South Wales that later became a state. 

  The first colonists arrived in Australia, which was then New South Wales, in 1788. 

There are countless reports of hairy Men and Man-Apes and Manbeasts and Apemen in Australia as there are in many places other then Antarctica. There are also numerous names for them from a vast selection of tribal and language groups. Unfortunately many do not have a location, even an approximate one, or a date that we can identify. These, as in my other books, I do not use. But there are still plenty of them with places and dates. 

Remember that this book like most of my other books is a guidebook for you to explore from. Not an academic work or a vast tome encrusted with a lot of verbiage and colourful descriptions. You can find those in a lot of other places but you can start here. Enjoy your travels across part of an amazing continent. Sometimes we only want data.

Now we come to our first mention of the hairy hominid, the Yeti, the Bigfoot and as it is known in Australia, the Yowie, sighted in the infant colony of Sydney, New South Wales, in 1800. For those of us who do not know it the hairy hominid is the legendary hairy manlike creature like a wildman that supposedly lives deep down in the woods. In ancient English legends these manlike forest creatures are called the Woodwoses, amongst other names. In modern America they are referred to quite often as Bigfoot and Sasquatch as well as a host of Native American names as there is a long folkloric history of them. Of seeing them but not necessarily of capturing or killing them.

Why then if this is the case and with the creatures placed in the common vocabulary of the time, why were they not regarded as normal creatures like deer and badgers, but as something different, as being not quite here but as being somehow from beyond our known reality? 

Why then are some creatures regarded as God created animals, indeed regarded as quite normal, and others regarded as monsters, as the spawn of Satan, as animals of evil and why then is this a universal foundation of belief? Technically they should be regarded as a new type of gorilla or some such, yet we can capture gorillas. But try and catch one of these?

Wiltshire got weirder and weirder as time progressed. The reports got more complex in many cases and the questions started. Were the phenomena created by the English Military on Salisbury Plain? Were they created by aliens or transdimensional hominoids? Were they a collaboration between the two? And then in the late 1990s there was fnothing. What are these hiatuses that occur between groups of sightings. Had the locals by this stage gotten so used to the phenomena that they did not bother to report them anymore? Who would know but it is a rollicking journey of sightings and contact.

This is my first interview with Omar Iamone on Watchers Talk in 2018. Most of you know me for my work on UFOs, Bigfoot and strange archaeology. I also have extensively researched cosmic bombardments with the Earth and other related phenomena such as the last Great Cataclysm around the time of the Younger Dryas which I have covered in several books that I have published. I also discuss the interstellar origins of life on Earth and where it first appeared on Earth............and how it got there. We finally finish off 1897 with our amazing  variety of aerial craft and mysterious pilots and passengers. Were they made on earth, many pilots of the airships said that they were, and who was the mysterious Mr Wilson, a pilot on three occasions. Remember, there were no airplanes or guidable airships around in this period. This was a memory of apparent future technology. A few airships were reported to be heading for Cuba. Others to Greece. None apparently arrived. And we had an animal kidnapping and mutilation amongst other things. 1897 was insane...........but only the observations. The phenomena were still there and were still being reported.

We finally reach the 1897 Airship Flap which we now know started in September 1896 which was our first episode. Things get even weirder yet more common at the same time. There is a strange sanity to a lot of reports of Airships and their occupants and even attempts at normalization of viewing and witness interractions with the occupants. Were they all heading for Cuba? So many of the craft had bits falling off or crashing that it is amazing that they flew at all. Others appeared designed so that they could not fly at all. But they were seen. And occupants were seen. And there were several reports of Airship crashes and deceased occupants, most not being regarded as humans. Was the technology being camouflage? You will have to tune in to try and make sense of it all.

1897 was a very strange, and hectic year, as far as UFOlogy goes.  If you think 1947 was the start of the UFO age, then read up on 1897. What is little known is that the Great 1897 Airship Flap actually started in late September 1896. These are all from my books on Strange Phenomena and UFOs. Was it all real? Was it all false? There were hundreds of reports of Ufos in 1897 but quite a few in 1896 as the prelude to it.

Welcome to Pennsylvania. They have Bigfoot here? They certainly do.  And several different types as well. Now we get to another phenomenon. That is Bigfoot being seen in association with UFOs. What 's that you say? You heard me, or in this case, read me. And this was before Chewbacca and Star Wars.  It is probably best if you just come along for the ride as we journey from 1830 to the end of 1975. The 1830 one is probably one of the oldest bigfoot sightings  in North America, by colonists.  And you also get to meet the Jersey Devil in many of its incarnations. Talk about a variety of descriptions but only from the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware.  I thought that the Jersey Devil could join the Hairy Humanoids on this occasion.

We finish out trip up the Ohio River and all of its tributaries. These prehistoric superhighways lead us to giants, and small people as well. To amazing cities like Newark, not the New Jersey one.  To strange Hebraic relics and a host of other apparently non existent relics, ruins and remains. We have met Kenneth Arnold in our first podcast. We visited Roswell in our second Podcast and now in the Third Podcast of our 75th Anniversary series we finally get to meet some of the pilots of these strange craft being witnessed all over North America. As I have said 1947 was a very big year. Was it the begining of the Flying Saucer Age?  Though we had many Flying saucer and other strange aerial craft reported before. Was it then the beginning of the Big Reveal so that we could get used to their presence? It seems when we do meet the pilots and other denizons no one ever bothers to ask this question.

1947 gets weirder. We are past Arnolds sighting  of  flying discs over the Cascades. We are no hearing about Roswell.............and the Plains of San Augustin............and maybe one other.  Which one is which? Which one is real? Which one is a hoax? 1947 was an amazing year.  Popular conception is that  Kenneth Arnold was the first UFO observer for the year, and the first UFO observer that launched the UFO Age.  This might be a misconception. There were quite a few sightings before his but there is no denying that it was a very busy year. This podcast has quite a few surprises that you might never have heard of or read and it is all on chronological order. This is episode one which is the lead up to Roswell and includes the Arnold sighting, amongst many others.  This is my celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Arnold and Roswell and the Flying Saucer Age.

We continue up the  Ohio River and its tributaries eventually getting to the Scioto River.  Before we get to the Scioto River we have to manouvre the Falls of the Ohio where if you were travelling upstream you would have to put the boat on shore and carry it up the  rise over twenty feet at Clarksville. Who was losing Roman coins here in several spots? Who was losing Jewish Bar Kokhba coins from the Jewish Revolt here as well?  When we get to the Scioto River Valley it gets even stranger. As we know there were no iron furnaces in North America prior to the Colonial Period. Shame no one told the inhabitants though as there are several sites here that are furnaces for creating iron. Not from bog iron or meteoric iron, which you cold hammer as heating does nothing to it. This is an area of cities and massive fortresses, not mobile encampments. The so-called mounds, which I prefer to call Pyramids, as some are almost made the same size as those in Central and South America.

As we leave the Mississippi River and travel up the Ohio River we meet amazing ancient structures, thousands of years old, such as a line of stone forts on top of mountains but no idea why they were built and to protect from whom.
We find a few giants, averaging seven feet tall and the remains of their burial mounds.
Weirdly enough we are finding Roman coins from around two thousand years ago and mysteriously, Judean coins from the BAr Kochba Revolt in 69 AD. 
Who was using the Ohio River to trade and explore?
And what of other strange artifacts found along it and its tributaries shores?

Visit Illinois. The great junction between the Great Lakes and the Illinois and Des Plaines Rivers which in previous pluvial, or rainy periods, all joined together with the Mississippi. Visit another Serpent Mount, Possibly two in fact. Visualize a pyramid in Chicago or what could even be a Phoenician sacrificial stone, a very large one in the same area.  Also meet our other denizons of times past and artifacts of evem more remote times. And visit Cahokia, the largest Medieval city in North America with a huge pyramid at its centre and a population of 200,000 people.

Who would think that some of the oldest human remains in North America would be found in Canada. This is as well as possible Viking remains and even other trans-Atlantic cultural remains as well. Explore Canada with me as we hear of its sometimes turbulent history as the North Pole moved four times and the destruction that went with it. And I also answer the question.....What did Mammoths eat? And it was not ice and snow and you will be amazed at what caused their destruction as well.

I will stick to this which is the largest set of books on Bigfoot ever published which due to its size. It is in four volumes in paperback format. Over twelve hundred pages of Bigfoot encounters from all over the North America! All of the sources are in the bibliography and are published or available on very reputable sites on the internet such as BFRO. Many are anonymous but I believe that this can be disregarded. Bigfoot is still a controversial subject.

You might notice that some of your favorite reports of Bigfoot might be missing. I know that your Grandma saw something in the local lake or woods or sky but she never did mention when and sometimes even where so Grandma’s sighting will not be included. This also applies to plenty of other sightings. No dates so no entry. Even a year is enough and the name of the locality. Neither of these is a no show. But there are thousands more so find out about what might have or still might be lurking in your neighborhood. This is not your normal road map as we visit all over the continent. Happy travelling! You will be amazed as to what you will find in your state or even your neighborhood!

Where did the early traders from Europe, North Africa, the Mediterranean and the British Isles first land in North America?
North  America according to modern archaeology was the site of one lone visitation by the Vikings before Columbus apparently discovered America. This Columbian discovery theory disregards the existing cultures in North, Central and South America at the time. Allowing for the earlier and earlier dating for runes and runic style script that was used by the Vikings  and Germanic tribes the dates for runes are going back to the Roman Period when Germanic tribes who also used runes served as mercenaries for the Roman Legions. There was a plethora of alleged Roman Era artifacts and ruins. These include Celtic, North African, European and Mediterranean contacts including early Jewish travellers around the time of the diaspora. Many Jews were sailors being coast dwellers and neighbors of the Phoenicians with many of them sailing on Phoenician ships. They also might include sites dated by runic characters which every year are being discovered to have originally been contemporary with the Romans.

These are encounter cases with UFOs and their occupants as well as unusual UFO sightings. Not the normal sightings of a light scooting through the sky. This means that there are a lot less reported sightings than the hundreds of thousands of UFO sightings reported every year. But they are the strangest and all from North America. We have reports of humanoids, and non-humanoids, coming out of these UFOs as well and interacting with people in strange and unusual ways. North America is so rich with these bizarre reports that it has taken me four volumes to record them all from 1800 to 1999. What is a weird, woolly world? It is a world of indefinite strange recorded events that belong outside known science and knowledge and yet are part of our accepted folklore in many cases and also our common knowledge. How common are they? You will be surprised. Are they indicative of something greater, possibly a new science? You be the judge. This is an atlas of the insane. Discover the prehistoric mysteries of Ohio which in the nineteenth century had over 1500 mounds built by what we call the Mound Builder Culture. These in most cases were four sided pyramids of various shapes and sizes. There were also vast necropolises or cities of the dead that contained the remains of giants. These skeletons belonged to people seven to eight feet tall and sometimes taller. Think of what modern basketballers look like if you were five foot four inches tall, the average European male height in the colonial period. You will be amazed at what has been found, and unfortunately in many cases lost. You will find cultures that you never dreamt of and visitors from Europe and possibly other places as well along the shores of the Ohio and Scioto Rivers.
