Last year Natalie was exploring what it meant to be a non-binary person who presents more femme than androgynous. After a big year of struggle, transformation, and discovery, it's time to talk about gender identity with more confidence and certainty. A good listen for anyone who doesn't belong to either binary and doesn't fit everyone's expectations.

Hope everyone had a good, responsible, and safe holiday! Today we're discussing the new LGBTQ documentary on HBO max, Transhood. This documentary shows that trans children are finally starting to get the recognition and attention from family that they deserve, but we're still here to discuss the incredibly rocky road ahead. Tune in for our thoughts on this compassionate and hopeful look at trans youth.

Today we discuss an element of queer life, and something that's personal to a lot of us - the feeling that you've waited "too long" to come out or be true to yourself. Any of us who feel this way are much less alone than we might think, so let's talk about it. It's never too late to be true to yourself and we've all got each other's backs!

We get a little nostalgic today as we discuss the new sequel/spinoff to our old standby Inuyasha, Half-Demon Princess Yashahime. Stories by author Rumiko Takahashi have had some issues when it comes to portrayals of queer characters or themes, but we think this new endeavor might just break away from that a little bit. Just a bit. ;) It's time we had more queer perspectives on the Inuyasha franchise anyway.

Now that Netflix's series Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts has wrapped up, we can do a full series review! This show is a good, unabashedly queer time with great themes for its young audience. If you wanna hear more queer perspective on Kipo, give us a listen.

Early Halloween episode! Time to reminisce about Disney's Hocus Pocus and examine why queer people of all walks continue to be drawn to this fabulous Halloween flick! We'll return to our regularly scheduled beginning-of-the-week episode release after this ;) Happy spooky season!

Today we're revisiting our panel from Crunchyroll Expo, Queer New Animal. This is a more polished version of our own episode on Brand New Animal and it's easily-interpretable queer themes.
