• While it's still only a rumour, there are reports out there that Microsoft may be bringing the Xbox Game Pass to Switch via their game streaming service.
• The Corporate VP of XBox had some wild takes on criticism of Anthem's road block "tombs" quest, directly hitting out at reviewers for being bad at games.
• We missed this last time, but Bungie have separated from Activision and taken Destiny with them.

• Kingdom Hearts 3 is out and Calum is very excited. 14 years to conclude a story no one understands.

In The News...

• Depending on how far down the conspriracy theory hole you want to go, the spat between SpacialOS and Unity is either a degradation of inter company negotiation, or a carefully planned PR move involving Epic.
• Farming Simulator devs Giants Software are setting up a €250,000 esports league for the game, and we are legit excited about it.
• Metriod Prime 4 has been totally scrapped and rebooted, bringing on Retro Studios to advise, with no indication of a new release window.
• The Division 2, Ubisoft's entirely non-political game set in DC about the fall of the US government, and where the devs are sending out "take your country back" promo emails, advertised their Private Beta in an entirely non-political way by invoking the US government shutdown.
• The Fallout 76 clusterfudge continues on at pace, by re-introducing fixed bugs with new patches.

• Euan finishes Hitman 2 and fails to talk about what The Hex actually is. It's cool though.
• Calum becomes the mobile general in Command and Conquer: Rivals and ganks the mid lane in Artifact. That sounds like a joke, that's a thing you can actually do in that card game.

In The News...

• The Game Awards and the Kinda Funny Games Showcase both happened while we were away, with a long list of announcements and trailers
• Epic Games is the first company to make moves in direct competition to Steam, by launching their own digital PC store with a bunch of exclusives.
• With the demise of the Steam Link hardware, Valve have released a version of the Steam Link software designed to run on a Raspberry Pi
• Alongside Fallout 76 apparently being a poor quality game, the $200 collectors edition also shipped with a poor quality bag when a nice canvas one was promised. This became A THING.
• 2 Milly has officially sued Epic for using his dance in Fortnite with no attribution or payment. I recommend listening to the December 7th Waypoint Radio for a good overview of why this might become a much bigger deal.
